Lola's Garden

My family and I really enjoyed our visit to Lola’s Garden! We were all taken back by the low rating however the food, drinks, and service were amazing!! Two guests in my party said the french onion soup was the best fos soup they’ve ever had and we all really liked our food! Only recommendation would be to give a little dessert when it’s someone’s birthday. Will definitely return!

First off, the atmosphere and decor of Lola’s Garden is great. I went for happy hours a few years ago and was underwhelmed by the food (drinks were delicious though) so I wouldn’t think to come back. I saw the menu for Ardmore restaurant week and was enticed so I decided to give LG’s another shot. I am so glad that I did! Our server Katie was fantastic — very friendly and attentive without being over-attentive. The food was fantastic! The smoked salmon appetizer was very good and the presentation was thoughtful. The frisée salad was delicious and fresh. For entrees we split the halibut and the chicken. Both were very very good. All of the ingredients in each dish went perfectly together and elevated simple proteins while still making them the focus. I am huge fan of squash blossoms — I would have been happy with a whole plate of just those. The drinks we had were also delicious. All of the other dishes on the menu also sounded so good so I definitely plan to come back.

loving the new chef! I’ve been here a while ago when they first open but wasn’t a fan of the food. We came back the second time because my boy wanted to give Lola a try, Surprisingly they had a new chef and the food was all very good! We tried the oyster as they just added the raw bar to the menu, very fresh. And our waitress Carli was very helpful, overall great dinner experiences!

Went here for the first time on a Saturday - meeting a friend for brunch. Since it was such a nice day, we sat in the outdoor seating area. It was such a garden, boho vibe in the space with plenty of tables set up throughout the area. Apparently they recently added a couple of items to the brunch menu and I decided to try one of the newer items - the Mexican Street Corn Avocado Toast. I don't ever order that out for brunch - or in general - as I'm worried I won't be satisfied/full. But I'm so glad I gave it a chance! (Shout out to the waitress for her recommendation). With the egg added to the order and the toast on the larger side (much appreciated), it actually was filling, fresh with the ingredients and tasty. Along with that, I ordered the Frosted Berry cocktail which was made perfectly.

Definitely recommend checking them out and I plan on going here again - hopefully soon!

We held our friends baby shower here and it was amazing. The event space is a separate swing space from the main restaurant and is heated through the winter and open air during the warmer months. The space well decorated, so we didn’t have to bring much and the food and beverage minimums for our event were very reasonable. But more than that, the staff was great! They helped us throughout the entire event with drinks for our guests and kept the food coming!

I came to have dinner here tonight with a couple of my coworkers and absolutely loved it. The food was exceptional, all the dishes looked and sounded amazing but I ended up with the steak frites which were fantastic and full of flavor. Our server Carli was great and knowledgeable about the menu and created a welcoming atmosphere! Can't wait till I can come back!

We went for lunch and food was so amazing. Surely the best food within 1000 miles radius. The service is also so good as the server is so friendly and accommodating. We will visit again.

If you’re looking for the perfect date night or girls brunch this is your place! My girlfriends and i came for brunch and sat outside on the patio and it was so nice! It was slightly cold since it was 10am but as soon as the heaters kicked on it was more then comfortable! Our server was extremely nice also! The drinks were delicious and so was our breakfast! I got the mushroom Benedict. For the area is was reasonably priced as well and super convenient to go shop around right after brunch!

Wonderful food after they revamped, and hired a new chef! Great experience with our waitress Carli too. Highly recommend the Tuna crudo & deconstructed cheesecake!

Stopped in Sunday afternoon for a quick appetizer and drink to sit outside with the dog. I had the margarita on the menu and it was great, we split the shishito peppers and oysters and finished both quickly, and the staff was awesome couldn’t have been better. We will surely be back for more and would recommend if your in the Ardmore square!

We had a family dinner here this month. The service and food were exceptional. I had the chicken marsala; it had great taste. I would highly recommend as a family dinner spot.

They say 3 times is a charm and this third time proved that Lola's Garden is totally worth it! The first 2 issues weren't biggies but just don't let the hostess schedule you for a Monday dining experience because apparently the restaurant is closed on Mondays.

Lola's is part of the same restaurant group as Morgan's Pier and Harper's Garden and you can tell - the garden aesthetic is beautiful! Plenty of seating both indoor & outside (apparently this is currently the largest outdoor space in the area).

It's Ardmore Restaurant Week, and I normally don't take advantage of the special because it never seems to be worthwhile. Nevertheless, Lola's definitely delivered (only $30 for 3 courses) and didn't skimp with reduced portions - woohoo! Each course got better and better:

1. Burrata Cheese & Baby Beets app was good
2. Pan Roasted Cod was flaky, buttery & big...and the sauce & garnishment were delightful!
3. Seasonal Fruit Tart surprisingly won me over considering I'm a chocoholic and there aren't any chocolate desserts currently offered (hoping they expand the menu soon to include chocolate dessert...I need it in my life! Lol).

Other people in my party ordered Roasted Free Bird Chicken Breast which was tender & crisp at the top with stew sauce, olives & zucchini AND the Grilled Duck Breast was juicy and "never had duck this tender" lol.

Our server Katie was great! Very attentive to our needs and questions while providing thorough explanations. For instance, she advised that only PA liquors are currently served while they work on securing a more expansive liquor license. Also the AMAZING part about the drinks is that every cocktail is on draft - so you can taste before you commit!

Great food. Great vibes (both The Internet & Solange played overhead). Great time and looking forward to dining again (next time will be for brunch because that menu has the nerve to look even more appetizing!)

Yummy sweet potato biscuits, coffee eggs, bacon and omelet! Amanda was really nice and attentive! Beautiful garden restaurant!

On September 16th my husband and I hosted our vow renewal reception at Lola’s. The experience, from the venue to the food, was amazing. The glorious weather was only enhanced by the open airy venue space where guests freely roamed from the indoor space to the beautiful and spacious outside deck. The attentiveness and professionalism of the staff was beyond our expectations. All of our guests felt welcomed and at home because their needs were addressed before they even asked. Lastly, hats off, around of applause and two snaps to the chef. The food was creative, well-cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our guests are still raving about the food, the place, and, as one guest stated, “beyond words to express the goodness” sea salt caramel chocolate cookies. Again, thank you for making our day special. Lola’s has officially become the favorite gathering spot!! Just one request: my husband and I didn’t get any of the cookies if you ever make them again, please let us know.

We don't often find such beautiful spaces that has such delicious food who will let us bring our dog. Tonight we had two. And. It. Was. Amazing! The food, the atmosphere, the staff...everything was wonderful. We were so grateful for such a fantastic experience. Thank you to all who put up with us tonight!!

Amazing cocktails and food, my sister and I stopped in for happy hour and had Tom as our bartender, he was great! The customer service from Tom and the manager I spoke to Bri was amazing! Would 1000% come back again with friends!

Visited lola’s on Saturday night. Great atmosphere overall and very polite servers. We tried a few beers and some of the starters and sandwiches. We had the golden monkey, bowline and the dankford, all the beers were great. The chicken sandwich was well cooked and flavoured with some version of the Nashville hot sauce. We also had the chick pea and polenta fries, filling and soft overall but a bit hard to bite into at first.

A great night overall! Would be back again.

My wife and I visited here a few weeks ago. My wife was blown away by the decor, we had a great time. I had the impossible burger which was great. I also had the blackberry ginger mock-tail. Both were fantastic, will be visiting here again!!

Stopped in for a light lunch and had a wonderful experience! Fresh, seasonal menu for lunch, can’t wait to come back to try the dinner menu. Beautiful location and decor, and friendly staff. The ricotta beignets are a must try and great for sharing!

I greatly enjoyed the comfortable and casual outdoor space with great food and excellent service on a nice April evening. There’s a convenient large parking lot a block away from the restaurant, and plenty of nice shops in the square near the restaurant.
