Jefferson Abington Hospital

I went to the ER here with chest pain. I was taken immediately. Everyone who I came in contact was helpful and friendly. The doctor and nurse who treated me were both fantastic and very thorough in diagnosing me. I didn’t end up having a cardiac issue, but they didn’t make me feel silly for coming in. They were supportive and encouraging that it’s better to be safe, and check it out than to not do that which I really appreciated. This is a great facility!

Recently went in to have two hernia repairs, as well as a gastric sleeve my experience there was very pleasant. The nurses were all wonderful and kind to me. I would highly recommend this hospital again.

Very happy with my experience here. Dr. Nussbaum is an excellent surgeon, very concise and no-nonsense type of guy which is greatly appreciated in that sort of scenario. The nursing staff was incredible, I wish I remembered more of their names but was a little foggy for a few days after the surgery. With that being said, Aimee went above and beyond and I was very thankful to have her there along with the rest of the nursing staff. There wasn't a single nurse that wasn't extremely pleasant and attentive. Would never go to a different hospital given the choice. Huge thanks to everyone there, will be forever grateful for their care.

I was just in for an overnight procedure and my surgeon was amazing. The nurse Olivia who took care of me 7p to 7a was also amazing.

Had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful staff at Abington Jefferson Hospital! 😃 My husband was having a short procedure at 6:30 am in Widener Ground Floor and we were greeted happily by the valet staff the receptionist GI department Nurse Linda Dr Steve G Harper Nurse Anita Dr Burgess anesthesiologist Craig anesthesia nurse. We thank you for the exemplary service and now I will schedule my procedure 😂✌🏾❤🙏🏾

Had an amazing experience in labor and delivery. Although my son was stillborn, the staff on L&D were incredible. Absolutely incredible. Caring, compassionate, gentle… every last nurse and doctor that came in to care for me during one of the worst times of my life, couldn’t have asked for a better care team. Thank you. Thank you. Quality care stretches much farther than a half hour wait in the ER of an over crowded department providing excellent treatment to returning patients, and much farther than being on long holds or finding it difficult to get through on phone lines because of the poplar demand for care desired by a health system. My love one is receiving the highest quality of care here, after being admitted from being discharged from Garden Spring Nursing & Rehab Center, where she was being neglected. I'm beyond pleased with the attentiveness and care she's receiving from all staff members, who have also been attentive to our concerns as family members. Abington Memorial may have just saved another life, and I am forever grateful for their service.

Holy guacamole with cheese and sprinkles why does this place have a 2.5 star rating?? After I messed up my other knee, (you'll know why if you've been keeping up), I came to Jefferson Abington Hospital and they were super professional and caring! Even though they were very busy, the doctors and nurses took care of me in a good amount of time. Dr. Greene, Ty, and their coworker whose name I sadly cannot remember were incredibly kind and helpful. They brought me everything I needed and made me feel comfortable. Yeah, I know everyone's experience is different, but I'm just so surprised that people had a bad time!

My daughter was seen in the ER a few days ago. She has special needs and everyone was incredible with her. We were seen almost right away, and the nurses, doctors, registration & pediatric doctors were very understanding of my daughters needs, and also were prompt in treating her. We almost needed admission, but everything was done to try and get us home because of my daughters anxiety over the hospital environment. I was very pleased with the services & the staff there. Thank you all for all you do every day in the ER.

Reviewing other comments, I find myself taken aback by the lack of respect displayed towards the compassionate team at Abington Memorial Shame on you.

In my personal experience, the nurses and patient care technicians at this hospital have been nothing but considerate and caring. Their efforts in providing comfort and well-being for my mother have been commendable and put my family at ease..

Special shout out to RNs DAN, MADDIE AND BRAD and Patient Care technicians MONICA and KATHLEEN who really went above and beyond. Their tireless dedication to improving my mom's comfort exceeded our expectations. In a challenging situation, their efforts made things less daunting.

Our gratitude towards them is immeasurable.

The doctors and nurses at Abington hospital saved my life, plain and simple. During my 5-day stay, whoever was in charge of my plan of care knew exactly what they were doing. It probably couldn’t have gone any better at any other hospital. The room was clean, the staff were kind, and the food was pretty good. The business office were helpful with a payment plan and it was worth every penny. I wish I could go back and thank everyone but I don’t remember anyone’s name. Thank you to everyone who helped me. It might be cliche to say you change peoples’ lives, but that’s actually what you do.

I recently gave birth to my daughter via C section which is not an easy recovery, but what made my stay better was the fact I was lucky enough to have most kind, compassionate and caring nurse to care for me and my daughter during our stay. Her name is Sara Fetwi and treated us with quality care. I’m very grateful. Thank you Sara!

My MIL was taken here for stroke symptoms this past Saturday morning. The care she received was remarkable. We are so grateful to all the amazing staff. The nurses and aides and doctors were thorough, respectful, responsive and kind. The ER is a very difficult setting. I saw only positive interactions this past weekend.

I delivered my baby here in June. The doctors and nurses are phenomenal! It was my first child and my nerves were high, but everyone made me feel so comfortable and calm throughout the whole experience. My baby ended up needing some time in the NICU and the staff offered for us to stay in the family room overnight so I could continue to nurse her. We really can’t thank the L&D and NICU staff enough for taking care of us and our daughter!

I had the best experience ever. The nurses were very nice. The doctors were amazing. The food was great too hahaha. But seriously i was treated so nicely here, every nurse that came always checked up on me, they weren't like other nurses that just go in to do the job and leave, they always had time to chat for a bit and always asked if i needed something. I never really bothered then though, I know it's their job but i didn't wanna be a burden. I really wish I could i thank them all for making my stay a good experience. I really wish I could thank the wonderful nurse who was there when I woke up from surgery, she was nice and never left my side until it was time for me to head to my room.

I want to say thank you so much to the labor and delivery crew I had handle me and my son Christopher Taylor. Morgan and my mid wife which I will hope to see at my obgyn a special thanks. They made my delivery go great and smoothly. They had all hands on . Great crew

For newborn Department. You guys were/ are great. The knowledge, the patience, the letting us to know what was going on are things that I'm really thankful.

I went to the ER at Abington Jefferson and was admitted for complications I had as a result of my diabetes which I didn't know I had.

From the nurses in the ER and my caring nurses, and doctor's to the kitchen workers, and housekeeping, they all were outstanding and really showed me that they care
