Shawn helped me replace a very poorly installed wood burning stove with a beautiful, efficient LP stove. He knew exactly what would work best, ordered everything, and quickly refunded me for the pieces that weren’t needed. Josh and Nick from American Home Comfort did a great job installing it properly and safely. I’m very pleased with the investment and the whole experience.

Hearthside Fireplace & Stove is a great place to learn about and purchase a gas fireplace. Shawn was terrific in showing me the various models and options, and explaining the benefits of each. We ended up selecting a Fireplace Xtrordinair 864 and couldn't be happier. Installation, service and responsiveness have been great. It is super easy to use and looks like a wood fire. From the first time we walked in to see him when we were shopping for a stove, until the installer left our driveway, Shawn was there every step of the way. We were looking to convert our woodburning fireplace to propane. Shawn was very knowledgeable and was able to show us the features on all of his displays that met our criteria. We chose Mendota. We have an arched opening that proved to be challenging. We were able to have a custom backplate fabricated by Mendota. The finished gas insert is everything we thought it would. Highly recommend Shawn. And a shout out to Jason on the install. Nice guy, meticulous, and great communication. Go with Heathside. You won't be sorry!

Finding Shawn at Hearthside was the best thing that could have ever happened from the nightmare I was going through. After consulting various other so called experts I quickly learned Shawn is on top of his game. He’s very knowledgeable, responsive and cares about his Job. Shawn walked us through the entire process and was extremely helpful! He showed us how the unit worked and got us setup to enjoy our new fireplace. I would recommend Hearthside to anyone interested in getting a new fireplace or stove.

Shawn and his team were a huge help. We were able to get our wood stove installed December 2022 and saw a huge drop off in our electric bill. December's electric was 3,200 kilowatt hours: January's electric was 1500! Shawn was also very helpful steering us in the right direction to find a stove that worked for our application. Finally his team was very helpful to sort out a small billing issue we had with a 0% promotion. Thanks a lot Shawn! We are very grateful for your help and our Blaze King Princess 32!!

Took a long time for the stove to come in but not their fault. Delays beyond their control. Once the stove was actually in, Shawn was extremely on top of it. Scheduled really quickly and the installer Jason was really well great. Attention detail was amazing. Our custom ordered shroud didn’t quite look right and Jason found a much cleaner solution. If you’re looking for a professional install use these guys!

We used Hearthside for a new wood stove install. Shawn was incredibly helpful over the phone, and helped us pick out a great stove for our needs. He's very knowledgable, and there was never any pressure - he just educated us and let us make the decision. He also worked fast to get everything ordered to expedite install as fast as possible. Jason, our installer, was amazing. He was incredibly professional and knowledgable, and did a great job with the stove. He left our home clean, walked us through basics of using the stove, and did a great job installing everything. Hearthside is priced extremely reasonably for the market, and I'd trust and recommend them to anyone (esp for Blaze King or Lopi stoves). I think it's also important for anyone looking to understand that many manufacturers are still delayed due to Covid, and almost all chimney and stove shops we called were installing 2+ months out. Because of that, Shawn was incredibly busy, but always got back to us and didn't make us feel like we were bothering him if we had questions.

We had a fantastic experience overall working with Shawn. Being new to the area, I looked to Google for recommendations to replace our wood burning fireplace with a gas insert. After reading the other great reviews, I gave them a call. I left a message and my call was returned by Shawn very quickly. He carefully listened to our needs and understood the situation and offered to come out to our home and take a look at our existing set up. He was timely and incredibly knowledgeable. He presented us with a number of options to choose from after carefully listening to our wants and needs. He invited us to the showroom to take a look at some of the models he recommended in person. We took him up on the offer and went to the showroom the next weekend and made a decision on which insert would be best for our application. The transaction was incredibly smooth and low pressure

Shawn worked with one of his subcontractors to coordinate the install and it was done in a timely manner. We ended up having an issue with the install which wasn't at all the fault of shawn but he went out of his way to make it right. It's comforting to know that there are still organizations out there who work really hard to provide their customers with great products, outstanding service, and in-depth knowledge. No one or company is without mistakes 100% of the time. Its how they handle those mistakes is what distinguishes the good from the best. After discovering a mistake with our initial installation, Hearthside completely owned the mistake and took all measures to completely rectify the situation 100%. Their new installer has over 20 years experience and does amazing work. The final outcome of our purchase and installation is a true work of beauty. Shawn guided me to choose the right wood burning insert and I am so happy with it. His installer Colby did a beautiful job installing it and he also gave me a lesson in correct utilization. Customer service from walking into the showroom to installation to troubleshooting on a follow up call was terrific. It's rare to find sales and service people these days who take such pride in their work. Shawn and Colby are a true pleasure to work with. I did my homework finding a new woodburning insert. We had a great experience with Hearthside Fireplace and Stove. Shawn came out to our house to assess what unit would work best for our current setup and made the process so quick and easy. He got us exactly what we were looking for at the best price.

The installer Chris was so nice and easy to work with. He guided us in picking out the stone we wanted and did great work. Chis and his team were very respectful of our home by covering floors and furniture and putting everything back in place upon completion.

On a side note we first went to a different vendor in Quakertown and they were unwilling to do a site visit and they quoted us double what it cost to have it done with Hearthside Fireplace and Stove. I highly recommend!!

Last year we started our initial search for a gas insert fireplace which took us to Hearthside Fireplace. Shawn was there and we found him to be a wealth of information. However, before we could proceed with a purchase we knew we had to have our brick chimney rebuilt and we were having problems finding someone to do the work at a reasonable price. Shawn gave us the name of one of his installers, Chris, who also did repair work. Chris came out this past May and did a beautiful job on our chimney so we knew we wanted him to install our insert.

In August we met with Shawn again and decided on a Mendota gas fireplace insert. Again, Shawn was helpful and resourceful, and he gave us a great deal on our insert. He was always very responsive, and we do ask a lot of questions. Due to needing a chimney rebuild, we did not use our wood burning fireplace at all last year, so we were very anxious to get the gas insert installed and up and running. Shawn worked with us, helpful as always, to get our unit designed and ordered. He came to our home and did a site visit. To get the look we wanted, we went with a custom surround that worked well for us, but added time to the delivery date. And we really wanted Chris to do the installation but knew that would take precise timing.

Shawn told us he would make this work and he did! He called us on a Tuesday to say everything had been delivered to him and Chris was available that Thursday. We said book it. And now we have a beautiful gas fireplace insert in our living room and we love it and can't wait to use it!

The decision to update our custom home's fireplace to a fireplace insert was not an easy one for us to make. We had been to many dealers and none made us feel comfortable. Shawn and his installation team (Colby) did a phenomenal job with the installation as well as the maintenance of our custom pellet stove and very tall chimney. The fireplace insert looked great and heated the house very well. I give the highest recommendation to this most professional team.
