I've been using Dr. Allerton for a few years now and I'm always so impressed with her professionalism. She always speaks to me in a respectful, considerate and empathetic matter. I feel like my opinions are heard and she gives me the opportunity to ask questions in places where I previously would have felt judged or uncomfortable.
I am very happy with Dr. Allerton, her support team and the care they provide for my horses.

Dr Julia Allerton has been the first vet to hear my concerns and be blunt but caring and educational in her responses. She takes the time to address your horses needs safely and professionally; handles my mares needle phobia better than anyone. Would recommend to anyone.

I found Julia after my mare foundered from IR. After dealing with a few vets who scratched their heads Julia had the treatment plan down cold.

I have been using this practice for about 13 years for all of my horses and goats. She is very thorough and mindful of both the patient and owner. I also appreciate that she listens and discusses the treatment options with you and is conscious of budget constraints. Overall I am very happy with their service!

The best. Always takes the best care of our horses

A dear friends horse colic and they gave Bute(which you never give to a colic horse). The horse eventually went down. Said it was a reaction then gave the horse MORE BUTE orally. Did a rectal and mentioned the gut was twisted. So they left the owner more bute AND THEN LEFT BECAUSE THEY HAD TO GET TO ANOTHER APPOINTMENT!!!!! Horse slowly died within 30 mins. Very upset at the incompetence of the Vets from here.

I called for a horse emergency and never even got a returned call.
Completely unimpressed.
