Daddypops Diner

I had the pleasure of dining at Daddy Pops Diner recently, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The homemade pancakes were absolutely divine, fluffy and flavorful, while the chipped cream beef was a comforting delight. And let's not forget about the thick-cut bacon – it was cooked to perfection, crispy yet tender.
What truly set this place apart, however, was the incredible waitress staff and owners, Anna and her husband. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel right at home. They even went above and beyond to celebrate my daughter's achievement as student of the month, which meant the world to us. We will return.

It has been a few years since we visited, the old owner was not very nice to the employees.

Fast forward, new owners so we gave it a try. Food was well done, enjoyed the everything omelette with a side of beans. Went back another day and the food quality was consistent. Met the new owners and they are great. Side note, they take credit card now as the old owner was cash only. Do bring some money for a tip as they do not offer that on credit card (better for the servers anyway).

The combination of great tasting quality food with fast, knowledgeable, personable and friendly staff it makes eating here both delicious and truly a pleasurable experience which we cant wait to repeat over and over.

Amazing. Always enjoy my steak and eggs. I walk in and they know ext what I want. Great food and even better staff.

So my wife and I have lived in Abington for about 7 years and we've never been here before so we stopped in for breakfast. Found out that it was recently purchased by another owner and in carrying on the tradition they kept the same name. The customers were all regulars. Very nice to find out that we were new to this restaurant. The food was good. The service was good. The "hostess" "manager" greeted us very nicely, and seated us nicely. Wasn't too long of a wait even though the place was packed. Coffee was fantastic. My wife and I sat at the counter seats. Our food came out quickly and was prepared well. My wife doesn't usually finish three slices of French toast and she did this time and I had the eggs Benedict and it was delicious and wonderful and freshly made with hash browns. We'll be back for sure.

This diner is amazing! The staff were friendly, attentive and conversational. The atmosphere was beautiful. Would definitely recommend to any and everybody in the area!

Stumbled on this diner while traveling through Pennsylvania. It's like stepping into a bygone era. Upon entering the establishment,we were greeted with a warm and welcoming smile. We were seated immediately. We ordered breakfast and it was very good, the food came exactly as we ordered it. The server was very attentive and kept our coffee cups full 🙂 I will return here for sure. Thank you for making this stop memorable. Highly recommend.

One of the greatest diner’s I’ve ever been to. Welcoming, engaging and attentive. The staff was kind and considerate of each other even on such a busy morning. It’s obvious that regulars feel like family but as a visitor from Delaware they took time and care to ensure my husband and I had the same experience as the folks they see all the time. THE FOOD! Scrapple fries are just how scrapple should be! They made their own corn beef hash (Delicious!) and the stuffed French toast is now my favorite food. ❤ please visit the diner. I’d go well out of my way to come back anytime.

Our first trip back since the new owners completely took over. Food is just as good as ever. My wife and I had our "usuals" and no complaints. The black and white shake was excellent. The place looked much brighter than it had in the older days. The outside clock now works. All that needs to be done is to move the coal car to behind the train engine instead of being in the caboose position. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. We will be back on a regular basis.

I have been going to Daddypops for years and one day I came in to find new owners. This was quite a surprise. I really liked it before and was wondering what these new owners would do. Were they going to change the menu, change the staff or even the atmosphere. For some of us Daddypops is like Cheers, "everybody knows your name". To many that won't matter but to some of us, it great to be greeted by name from any of the staff, right down to the Cook and dishwasher. I always liked the food, but in many cases there is a deliberate upgrade, from the coffee, to the amazing sticky buns. Yea, the breakfast and the lunch menu are much improved, and now I come back for lunch when I can. The home like atmosphere is still wonderfully with staff you can talk to and even get to know. The new owners Gus and Anna are really great also and have joined right in with the Daddypops community. The only downside is, I now go there more than ever....and I really need to get to work

It’s hard to mess up breakfast food, yet a lot of places seem to be able to do it. Diner food is regularly over cooked. Daddypops not only doesn’t mess up breakfast food, they make it EXCEPTIONALLY well. Their menu goes harder than a diner needs to and they knock it out of the park. Everything was cooked well and delicious. Corned beef hash (one of my favorites)wasn’t just poured out of a can, it was homemade. Specials were imaginative and well balanced. Do you have a friend who claims to not like scrapple? Give them the scrapple fries. The staff was amazingly cheerful from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I regret being an out-of-towner because this would be my go to breakfast spot. I would add a photo but I licked the plate clean.

OMG!! The bacon is amazing!!
I've been coming here for most of 20 years and this is the best bacon ever!! Looking forward to trying the rest of the new menu items!! The service was fantastic! Friendly and attentive!! See you again soon!!

The food was excellent, the diner was super cute. Coffe was flavorful and not bitter. The staff is the best part of the the experience … thank you, Claudia. We went back twice and our waitress remembered our order! So sweet.

Amazing BYOB brunch spot in Hatboro! The new owners are doing a great job revamping the diner. We had the server Megan and she was a pleasure! The best part was that we brought our own champagne and enjoyed some mimosas.

What more can I say but by far my favorite place to eat🤤❤

The service was great, quick and responsive to coffee refill requests. Everything you can ask for in a diner. Will be back, hopefully to meet daddy or pops!

Classic small town diner with good food, good service, and reasonable prices. Daddy Pops has been in Hatboro since forever and never disappoints me. Typical diner fare, pancakes, eggs, French toast, and too many lunch choices to mention here.

I have been coming to Daddy Pops for more then 20 years. Great breakfast today at my favorite place?
Servers Danielle and Claudia always make sure we have everything we need.Everyone is so friendly. All the years I've been coming only ever had breakfast.
I do however wish you would have vanilla coffee cream. Also applebutter packets for the scrapple.
