Plato's Closet Willow Grove

Very well organized, way more clothes than any other location I've been to. Not as many male clothes compared to female. I was able to find alot for my daughter compared to my son. Staff is very nice and friendly.

I honestly must say that I have never been happier nor more delighted in my entire life to write such a lovely email. I was at your location this evening and am very pleased to inform you that the (3) young ladies that helped me by the names of Carri, Kirstin & Ashley have truly got to be the most professional as well as pleasant individuals of whom I’ve been have ever met in my entire being of going into a retail store. Each one of these young ladies were very willing & happy to help me as I walked in as each of them greeted me with a warm hello and a wonderful smile on their face.

The entire time of which I was shopping if I had any questions whatsoever, they didn’t make it seem as though I was bothering them etc.

Each one of these young ladies not only take their job seriously, however, it’s quite obvious that they love what they are doing!

Platos Closest should feel blessed as well as honored to have such fine employees as these three young ladies. They are a great representation for Plato‘s Closet. I have never in all of my years of living (58) years walked into a retail store and was greeted by such professional, caring and genuine young ladies very willing as well as eager to help.

Everyone who works here is great! My wife and I have worked in the clothing industry so we're always bringing cool stuff to Plato's to sell. Very friendly staff and a pretty decent men's selection which is hard to find at Plato's!

Also to all the negative comments. The staff are not obligated to buy ANY of your clothes. I've had trips when I brought things to Plato's and they bought over $200.00 worth of my clothes. And times where they bought nothing. Sure I thought it was strange they didn't buy some things, but they are trained to buy SPECIFIC items that strictly cater to whatever area they are in. Try a different Plato's closet, I have had good luck selling my unsold items that way.

P.s Plato's is buying to re-sell. So to truly get the best bang for your buck it's honestly best to sell your clothes privately to an individual. It just takes much longer. Happy selling!

I feel I got a great deal on my handbag purchase, but the ultimate problem these stores run into? 95% of customers are sellers not buyers. The staff is very young and is probably learning how many trash bags full of clothes they can no longer buy. Best of luck.

Just sold some of my clothes, dresses and athletic wear that no longer fit me anymore. I was super pumped with the quote they gave me too as it was more that I was expecting. Some of the brands they took were Nike, VS Pink, Forever21, Free People, and my Abercrombie denim. The staff was really nice and extremely helpful especially with how busy it was. I didn’t have to wait long either and I got a 20% off any item in the store for bringing in my stuff. Winner winner! I will definitely be going back again. I recommend checking in on what they are taking so you get the most out of your trip too!

Came to this location with my girlfriend a few times to sell some clothes and the staff was amazing and helpful. I had some old Nike and adidas things that they took and got good money for! Their men’s section was really stocked compared to other locations. They have tons of clothes for any occasions for great prices. I’ve been back a few more times to sell and they never disappoint! 11/10 from me!!

I sold my clothes at Platos Closet in Willow Grove a little while ago and I'm super happy with what they were able to take off my hands! They told me my items were in great condition, they were trendy styles, and they were great brands like American Eagle, Nike, and VS Pink. Not only that, they also informed me of what specific items they were still in need of so I know what to bring next time. I will definitely be selling here again in the future, really happy I made the trip!

I am always greeted with a smile and warm welcome when I walk into Plato’s closet willow grove! I have sold at this location more than a few times, and each and every time I have had an extremely enjoyable experience! The remodel of this store was executed well! The black leather couch was a VERY nice touch! I can always see how the men’s section has grown just by always seeing something that I would like to buy! Looking forward to shopping there again very soon!

Selling: I was pleasantly surprised with the amount they offered me for my items. Items they did not accept were a little older (let’s face it I was getting rid of them for a reason). But they offered me more than I expected for a bunch of American Eagle items, a Kate Spade purse, and some other things.
Shopping: I love purses, and they’re great for that. I’ve also found great sneakers and jackets - you have to spend a little time looking because there is so much merchandise, but there is really cute stuff to be found. Also it’s one of the few Platos that sells makeup, if you’re not interested in buying used makeup they have brand new items they order from vendors (Marc Jacobs mascara for $10!)

I work in fashion so I usually get some good deals and when things go out of style I come here to sell instead of the internet! I sell louboutin,Gucci and all my other designer items here and I love the girls and staff also!! Morgan is very helpful and when I come in she says “we love to see you come in!!!” Listen you won’t get the best prices for sell...but the fact that items you take care and don’t really care for go to someone else who will also cherish them is worth it too me😁 it’s always good to help local businesses and during this it’s good to make some extra money cleaning your closet too love this place

I brought in 1 large bag of clothes, shoes, and some jewelry (Alex and Ani) I haven’t been wearing to sell here to make some extra cash, and got more money then what I was expecting! I had brands like VS Pink, Nike, Free People, Dooney and Burke, all kinds of brands! The employee that checked me in was so kind and pleasant, I was treated at the door and they did a great job walking me through their specific process when selling, they informed me that they are looking for more winter/ fall items instead of summer items which was totally okay because I was looking to update my winter closet anyway by selling the old and buying some new items! I revived a 20% off 1 item just for selling!!!! I was so excited I bought one of there many amazing designer bags! 10/10 would recommend shopping and selling at this Plato’s Closet location they do a great job on explaining why they pass on curtain items and styles and have great brands for amazing prices!

Came here with my 20 year old daughter and 18 year old son they both sold some of their old clothes to get some much needed extra cash for when they go back to school. They each received around $40 for their last season clothes like Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Vs Pink, LuLu Lemon, and Forever 21! I was pleased that they could get cash on the spot just for cleaning out their rooms! Love this place love their staff and their prices!

Yesssssss, thank you, Plato's Closet! The guy's section has expanded and has been reorganized in a much more manageable way. Everything is in order and they've given more space to us dudes on the racks too. The shoe selection is fantastic as well, (obviously, you won't find the exact item every time, but there's always a saucin' surprise waiting for you). Fantastic customer service too; most of the time they just drop what they're doing to help you out. Oh, plus did I mention they redid the ENTIRE STORE this month? Everything is pristine. I don't feel like I'm in a second-hand shop at all. Absolutely my all-around favorite place to stay in style. So yeah, 10/10 recommend to a friend. And that's the end.

All time favorite Plato’s Closet! I’ve visited most Plato’s in the NJ and PA area but this is the most organized and they take most of not ALL the items I’m selling! This place is great for quick cash! I recently found out I’ll be having a kid soon so I’ve been selling a lot of my Free People and designer items that I won’t fit it or have a need for once I have a kid and in my last 2 visits I’ve made over $500 not even kidding! I sold all my Pandora rings, some designer bags, Alex & Ani bracelets, Michael Kors shoes, even some Forever 21 and Fashion Nova clothing! The staff is always so friendly and helpful making sure to show me everything they want to buy from me and that I’m comfortable with the amount I’m getting which I really appreciate when it comes to selling my beloved designer items! Love this store and their staff 20/10 would recommend selling your items here! A nice tip, give them a call before you go in and ask what they are looking for that’s what I do and I always make sure to only bring in items they are looking for so it’s less I have to bring back home :)

Love this place! Recently lost some weight and have been selling my Levi Jean's, Nike and Adidas clothing along with some baseball hats and the staff there is always so welcoming I've been greeted with a smile each time I've visited this location and also receive a very great explanation on why some of my items were passed on if any! This place has great brands for a great price!

I’m a huge fan of PCWG! I moved to the area about a year ago and have been a store regular ever since. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They don’t hesitate to stop whatever they’re doing and assist you in finding the perfect outfit for whatever occasion you’re looking for. Their inventory is extensive enough that you never fail to find the perfect piece (or pieces!) I never leave with just one thing.
Their remodel is BEAUTIFUL and compared to a lot of the other Plato’s in the area that I’ve been to their buying and selling process is very straightforward and easy to navigate. If you call beforehand and ask what they need in their inventory, they will let you know exactly what they’re looking for at that time, and they’ll buy the majority of your trendy clothing and accessories. Shopping and selling to them is always a positive experience and I HIGHLY recommend giving them a try. They’re prices are unbeatable, they’re inventory is always trendy, and I never leave disappointed. Their Instagram @platosclosetwillowgrove always has some of their best finds, too. So don’t forget to follow them!

Always go here for a good find for a good price. They also sometimes have major sales off their clearance, which makes the clothes even more affordable than they already are. Love this place!!

They also got a new look recently, which leaves more room for walking and they even have a couch for people waiting for their buys to be processed or just anyone who gets tired, which I think is a nice touch.

Came to this location with my sister and a few friends. I absolutely LOVE the killer prices they have on all of my favorite brands and styles. The employees are so friendly and extremely helpful when it comes to selling and buying clothes. I will forever recommend PCWG to my friends and family!

Went in the other day with a bunch of clothes i didn’t wear anymore from last fall. They took a lot of brands like Urban Outfitters, VS Pink, and AE. I ended up getting cash in hand just in time to buy more fall clothing for when it starts to get chilly! SO EXCITED!!

I love shopping at Plato's because it's like thrifting but... easier for those of us with little patience--the vast majority of the store's inventory is on point with current trends, and it's a great place to find lots of almost-new stuff from brands like VS Pink, American Eagle, Brandy Melville, Adidas... I just bought a new pair of maroon Vans WITH TAGS STILL ATTACHED for only $22 yesterday and I've found PacSun jeans and Free People stuff for really really cheap in the past. The store's inventory is always changing too; if you stop in every couple weeks they almost always have new stuff out, and it adapts pretty well to current mainstream trends. I've sold clothes to them too; I always have waaayyyy more clothes than I need, and getting cash for it is ALWAYS a better alternative to just throwing it out! I've sold lots of clothes and athletic wear I wasn't using from F21, Adidas, and Under Armour to them, and it was awesome to get some spending $$ for stuff I just didn't need anymore! When you sell to them they tell you that their main demographic is teens/young adults, which limits what they can take to some degree (I mean, it has to be sellable!), but you've got nothing to lose by bringing whatever you have in. There's honestly something for everyone there; I've seen people of lots of different ages and demographics shopping there and finding great stuff. The staff is very friendly and helpful and check in on customers a lot; they also help with styling if you want fashion advice!! To someone who LOVES clothing and snagging great finds for cheap, Plato's is always a prime store choice!
