Harbor Freight Tools

It's a great Harbor Freight, but a little bit on the smaller side compared to some others I've been to. But they still have whatever you're looking for tool-wise. And if they don't, the Depot is right around the corner!
But this location is clean, very organized, and the staff here is very helpful and attentive.

I'm a big fan of Harbor Freight! Their tools offer excellent quality at a fraction of the price compared to big-name brands. For instance, I bought a Kabolt chainsaw from Lowe's, and while it's cute, it's not as powerful as I'd hoped, making wood-cutting a lengthy process. However, I found a Portland chainsaw at Harbor Freight for a much lower cost, and it performs significantly better and faster. Recently, I snagged a leaf blower for under $40, which seems like an incredible deal. I can't wait to put it to the test!

I love Harbor Freight. I feel like I probably own at least one of almost everything they sell by now. I am careful with my tools and I have NEVER broken or worn out any of even their least expensive stuff.

This particular location is always clean , the bathroom here is cleaner than most of the local restaurants . The staff is extremely helpful and they seem to actually enjoy their job . In regard to harbor freight itself , Whatever your feelings are about the quality of their tools, I have sets of their cr-mo sockets that have outlasted my snap-on and Mac sockets for a fraction of the price with a similar thickness of sidewall. For their power tools they offer multiple levels most easily summed up by I'm going to do the job once or twice, I'm going to do the job a couple of times a year and I'm going to do the job all the time. Spend your money accordingly and you won't be disappointed. Don't expect the lowest level to perform at the highest level, but the mid and high levels easily compete with the name brands out there in the majority of cases. Read the reviews of each product, they leave the good and bad ones up so you can form your own opinion.

The first… The very first hardware store I go to. I’m also an inside track club member and this store is a Candyland. Get your membership- I’m telling you… it’s worth it, if you are industrious.

None of their tools failed me, except for the Franklin handtruck. There is a weak weld spot on it, and it sheared off a little, so will be buying a tig welder to fix that.

Good tools and great prices. The crew at the hackettstown store are on it quick and I was in and out in 15 minutes with two tool carts for my guys.

They had what we needed. The staff were helpful enough, and when we needed to return something they didn't raise a fuss! No complaints!

Great and much cheaper alternative to larger tool stores. I've bought several items and they all work great and I saved a bunch of money

In my perspective, all tool stores are enjoyable. This one is superior since the prices are reasonable, the selection is extensive, and the tools are of high quality. Not snap-on quality, but more than adequate for the weekend handyman. Specials and discount coupons are usually available. The employees and management are outstanding; when it is busy, the supervisor is on the floor aiding people and bagging. Overall, a pleasant purchasing experience.

Great prices and selection. Store is clean and well stocked. Employees friendly and helpful. Parking lot is large. Store easy to see from roads.

Have joined there 30.00 a year program for the discounted items in the store before n others get the discount. It's so worth the 30.00 love this store

I stopped to pickup an item my husband saw online. I was able to find the item quickly and received a discount I wasn't expecting. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Love their tools at a reasonable price

My first time ever at Harbor Freiht and fell in love with it. The prices are soooo low. Only if we knew about this store before... how much money we would saved.
From now on before going other stores for tools and things like that 1st we will visit Harbor Freight Tools.

Great place for cheap tools that you don't mind losing. Buy the warranty if you are planning to abused the tools.. it is worth it
