William Penn Inn

William Penn Inn is a wonderful old school restaurant that has excellent food with an extensive menu. The servers are polished and polite and perform their job reminiscent of a time when waiters and waitresses were always top notch and highly trained and knowledgeable.
William Penn Inn does everything right and is a delicious delight to visit. I always leave with the anticipation of returning soon. The restaurant is always clean and the many dining rooms are all beautiful, especially my favorite, The Monet Room or the intimate Monet bar area. Don’t miss the bread basket, especially the zucchini bread. Even the coffee is a superb blend served in a silver pot. The William Penn Inn, for all that you get, is a real value. You truly get what you pay for.
For any occasion, special or otherwise, I highly recommend a visit to The William Penn Inn!

Dined there last night and had the most amazing dinner. Ryan our server, was so nice and attentive and of course the food was outstanding. I would definitely suggest you get the lobster schnitzel while you can. It is amazing. I try to get something different each time I go and last night was all about the halibut. The portions are generous and the quality of the food is always top notch. Can’t wait for our next dinner event.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had, the food was great and the waiter was very friendly.

Highly recommend the french onion soup and I ordered the blackberry-barbecued pork loin chops and it was amazing. Would love to come back here sometime again!
(also try the mandarin margarita!)

The restaurant looked really nice, and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our server was super attentive, and the food were fresh and tasted great too! Overall, it was a delightful experience. (It is just hard to get a reservation for a larger parties).

This was everything I expected and more. It's a very charming place that takes you back in time. The service and food is awesome and the restaurant is nicely maintained.
They should have tours and talk about the history, we just walked the halls admiring the rich heritage after our lunch.

Great place to celebrate special occasions. It is a historic venue with elegant settings. Quality of service is great and so is the quality of food. Loved the experience. Highly recommend.

William Penn Inn a beautiful, well kept Colonial building makes for a comfortable, elegant setting. Went here for a Birthday luncheon and was very pleased with the friendly, efficient, professional service. The food, of course, was the star of the day. The Lobster Bisque was rich, creamy and very tasty. The complimentary Fresh Bread Selection was just that... Fresh and Yummy! The Shrimp Scampi was heavenly, perfect portion size, perfectly cooked and plentiful Shrimp and the pasta deliciously al dente...a Birthday HOMERUN. My husband opted for the Corned Beef Reuben that he was very happy with. The homemade chips were crispy and very tasty. The desserts were delicious... the Snowed Inn Cake was light and oh so flavorful and the Key Lime Pie was sublime. All in all a very pleasant and delicious experience.

Absolutely one of the top five dining experiences I have had in all of my travels.
The wife and I came here for date night and boy were. We enthusiastically greenthusiastically greeted and seated. Over the 2 and a 1/2 hours We were there not once were we felt rushed out. The meal was exquisite and very well flavored. I got the prime rib while my wife got the fillet medallions. Wonderfully divine food offerings. We absolutely will come back and eat at this establishment. That has been open for 300 years. Simply put, amazing.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here and we could not recommend William Penn Inn enough. Huge shoutout to Darlene Schneider, who made the entire process so smooth and easy for us. It was so nice to book with a venue that handled everything. I was extremely pleased with how reasonably priced everything was as well. All our guests raved about how good the food was, and the spacious dance floor really brought that extra "wow" factor. All the staff was friendly and took such great care of us throughout our big day. So run, don't walk, to check out William Penn Inn for your next event!

Had an enjoyable evening attending the Katro-Wills wedding. The Historic Wm Penn Inn is an excellent venue for a wedding. Staff is on point with ensuring everything goes smoothly. The food was delicious. We had the salmon and beef. Wait staff is perfectly attentive without being overbearing. If you're looking for a place to have your event, I would definitely suggest the Wm Penn Inn.

We have been going to William Penn Inn for both Brunch and Dinner, and they never disappoint . The food consistently surpasses our expectations, and that something we cannot say about most of the other places we dine at as we are very hard to please. The services at William Penn Inn are always better than most of the so-called 5-Star dining places in major cities across the U.S.. It’s not by luck that this place has been in existence for 300+ years!

I love William Penn Inn so much ! The service and food is always great ! I love the hidden peanut butter pie just ask for it lol it’s so good !!!! The French onion soup was the best I ever had !!!! It was so good !!!! Crap dip was fantastic too !!!! Always the place to be !

As always, the food was excellent. Our waitress was on point. Seeing the antiquity was awesome and it was well maintained.

Everyone there, including the customers, were very nice and pleasant. This is why I proposed to wife some years ago, we had our wedding reception there and we make it a habit to go back whenever we can.

My wife and I had a gift card to this place when we moved into the area and we're excited to use it for our anniversary! The atmosphere is great at the restaurant. The management has done an excellent job at making this a great place for a meal. While I can't say the food is necessarily our style (I'm sure many absolutely love it), we found items that we really enjoyed to eat here.

The BEST wedding venue. From the beginning planning stages to the day itself, the staff at William Penn Inn were excellent. The guests keep raving about how nice the decorations were/how great the food was.

I think this is my favorite place in Pennsylvania. The food is amazing. They start you with a basket of bread, and the zucchini bread is the best. The menu is varied and the dishes have a unique presentation. The wait staff is wonderful. The building is a large, very old inn (William Penn stayed there), and beautifully decorated. The last time I was there, it was for my boyfriend's birthday, and there were six of us. They put us in a small, private room. Unless you go very early, make reservations.

What a beautiful place to have dinner. From the welcome at the front door and very welcoming attendant at the coat check to the wait staff. Everyone makes you feel special. The food is amazing. Prices are the same as any well appointed restaurant. The Chilean Sea Bass with asparagus, and fingerling potatoes was perfectly cooked and delicious. The side salad with tarragon house dressing was amazing. I even bought a bottle of dressing to take home. The surf and turf was really good. And the Chocolate Heaven Torte was a perfect blend of flavors. The history of the William Penn Inn is very interesting and the building and decor is in great shape and well taken care of. It's beautiful.

Fine American Continental dining done right in a historic setting that's had been around for over 300 years. The filets have always been exactly to order, and seafood perfectly cooked every time we've been there in the past 20 years. The desserts, like every other dish, big or small, are superb. I recommend the lobster bisque to start and the key lime pie to finish.

This is a local favorite, always a great experience. The staff is superb, and the food is as well. The prefixed meal is sure to please, and right now the seafood buffet is back. I especially appreciate the trees on property that are lit up all year round. Thank you William Penn In !

An absolutely impeccable dining experience, Michelle our server was beyond flawless as we celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary.
Food was spectacular and every was perfectly timed and delicious.
Thank you for making it such a wonderful celebration. We will be back very soon thinking New Year’s Day as it seems like you have some exciting things going then.
