Farber Dermatology

Dr Farber is an excellent Doctor. He’s very professional and patient with his patients. He helped my mother with a wound her finger that would not heal, a few years ago. So when I needed a dermatologist I knew he would be my best option. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Overall my experience was amazing.

I came across Dr. Farber’s office when I was looking for an alternative for Mohs surgery. I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. From my first call to his office and after speaking to Diane, I knew I was making the right decision. I had IG SRT treatment. Everything I was told before my treatment was 100% correct…surgery free, pain free, and no scar. Today, I received the best news, the cancer is gone. To say I am so happy, is an understatement. Diane did my treatment. She is the most professional, kind, and caring person and so knowledgeable. She put me at ease the moment I started speaking to her…I will be forever grateful to her. Do not let your dermatologist talk you out of IG SRT treatment, as I didn’t. And the second best part, my BCBS health insurance covered the treatment.

Dr. Farber and his staff provide exceptional care to Treat my eczema and allergies. I have suffered with these conditions my entire life and never found true answers or relief until being treated by Dr Farber. Highly recommend this Dr.

I’m writing this on behalf of my husband since he doesn’t have a google account and he asked me to write a review of Dr. Farber. My husband has several reasons to visit a dermatologist, and he has seen Dr Farber twice now, with a third appointment scheduled. Dr Farber prescribed two creams that helped him tremendously and he has finally gotten relief from a problem he has been suffering with for a while now. He was pleased with the front desk staff and didn’t have to wait long in the office or to get an appointment. Past experiences have shown very long wait times for dermatology appointments- many months - so he was thrilled to be able to get to see Dr Farber so quickly. He is so thrilled that he has been able to help him and has confidence in his knowledge and experience to continue to help with his other skin issues.

I am new to the area and had a dermatologist I really liked back in Chicago, so I was apprehensive going for my first appointment. However, the staff was very friendly, especially Kim. The office runs very efficiently, no long wait times. Dr. Farber really took a detailed history and really listened to me. He explained everything very clearly to me. Biopsies were not painful. The office was able to assist getting prescriptions filled for a very low cost. It does not take long to be an appointment. I've been several times and am happy to say I will definitely be returning!

Dr. Farber came on his day off when we contacted him for an emergency skin condition that occurred on my 85 year old grandmother. He was friendly, caring, concerned and made sure she gets immediate help.. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Farber and thank you very much for the help

As a person that has suffered from adult cystic acne, I have been to my share of dermatologists. Dr. Farber is the first doctor to address my acne without having me take pills. The topical treatments that he is prescribing are finally bringing out the infections that have been lingering in my face for years. It’s a relief in my life to feel like I am finally getting the root of this hormonal acne that has plagued me. I highly recommend his expertise.

During the pandemic, I, like many other young women started using at-home facial peel treatments. The treatment was entirely too strong for my face and ended up kind of bleaching the areas around my mouth. After searching online for solid dermatologists, I came across this office. This was my first time considering laser treatment for my face and not everyone can handle black peoples's skin (or hair). I've learned that the hard way over times. Dr. Farber is a true experienced professional with a friendly staff. They thoroughly explained the process and the wait time is always short, if nonexistent really. After three treatments, I can honestly say that the area is healed and in fact my entire face looks better than ever. It's as if my entire face has been rejuvenated. I have been a patient of Dr. Farber for several years. I remember when I took my son into his office to address a back rash, he successfully cleared his back with no signs of reoccurrence. His expertise with my skin issues have been very rewarding! I found his staff to also be very personable and accessible for appointments and emergency situations. I know there may be other dermatologist on the Main Line who are good, maybe even great, but I believe for me and my family, Dr. Farber is the Best!

I have been a patient of Dr. Farber's for a longtime and this review is actually overdue! I was in treatment for cancer and developed an odd rash on my hands. No one understood what it was. My endocrinologist, Dr. Heskell, suggested I see Dr. Farber, I agreed since he had treated others in my family at that time. I made an appointment and was promptly seen. He was the only one who was able to identify my issue. He coordinated care and follow up with three other physicians to ensure I was properly cared for. He made my medical issue a top priority. He has continued to treat me and other family members for many years now. I receive only the best of care and I see that same care extended to all of my patients.

Dr. Farber is an amazing doctor who took his time to help me and my little boy. . My newborn got eczema and kept me awake all night for a week straight. I explained how desperate I was and the office fit me in that day. Dr Farber stayed after hours to treat my baby and to treat me for a separate problem. He explained fully my baby's diagnosis and got me samples so I could go straight home. He did a procedure on me and I am thrilled. He is caring and capable and really went the extra mile. He is a credit to his field and renewed my faith in doctors!!

I have been going to Dr. Farber for years and love him. It's always a good experience and the staff makes you feel comfortable. I have a brother with special needs who usually dreads Dr appointments, he gets in the car with no fear or problem. We would never go anywhere else. Dr. Farber is the best!

Dr. Farber is such a kind person. We have clients with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our clients are from low income background, and rarely have the resources to obtain high quality care from specialists. Dr. Farber provides premier quality services to our clients at a very reduced cost. He treats our clients with respect. He listens patiently to their concerns and to our clients’ responses to his questions. He explains the procedure clearly, and puts our clients at ease. In addition, he encourages follow ups, when needed, to ensure that our clients are properly treatment, without regards to their ability to pay.

We appreciate that the office has diversity in staffing both in the Philadelphia and Narberth office. We also appreciate the fact that the staff are very personable, and have very good memory. They are also very accommodating. They do not mind completing our internal compliance forms. We really appreciate Dr. Farber and his staff. We will always be grateful.
