BJ's M Street Tavern and Oyster Bar

Pleasantly surprised with this place. Food was amazing…crab dip and Chicago steak sandwich. Sandwich was very tender and full of flavor. The Irish Apple Old Fashion was delicious. The service was phenomenal. Cannot say enough good things about this place! Will be back in town in 2 weeks and will definitely be back!

Our 1st time here. Oysters are excellent, very clean. Dave loved the corn bread. Waitress was always checking on us to see if we needed anything. Beer was nice and cold
And our food came out hot. We had the ribs and bongo chicken. Definitely coming back again.

Incredible food. Absolute perfection. Clams Casino is divine. The House Made Linguine is incredible. The Oysters were spot on. The staff is great. They are friendly and attentive and make you feel right at home. I wish we had one in my hometown. Hint Hint 😉

Service was impeccable. The food was delicious. Sirloin steak was a little tough, but while seasoned scallops were done to perfection, good Caesar salad, and of course, the espresso martini topped it all off.

When I visit Danville, BJ's is my go-to dinner spot. Located on Mill Street, the town's main street, they're. Open until 10 p.m. most nights. The large menu has something for everyone. The oysters and other items from the raw bar are always great (their cocktail sauce is some of the best ever. The Smokehouse salad awesome (get the Bleu cheese crumbles!). Service is always good and friendly enough.

Our first visit and we were very impressed. Friendly greeting, exceptional service and delicious food. We just could not have asked for more. Crab Cakes, Scallops and Pasta delicious!

My wife and I are here while on vacation. It had been a few years since we ate here. I had the Bone in Ribeye. Unfortunately it was cooked more than what I wanted, but the flavor kept me from sending it back. My wife had the Chicago Steak Sandwich. It tasted great!! For dessert we had an apple cobbler. It was just ok. To me it needed less dough and more flavor. Overall though it was a great dinner!! We will be going back on our next trip to Pa.

First Time Ever Visiting. Friday Afternoon Before the 5 o clock Dinner Rush. Outdoor Seating under a canopy out back by a stream. Tables Filled up fast. Raw Seafood Bar. Clams in the Half Shell was my reason for visiting. Nice Atmosphere. Lots of Nice Menu Choices.

Fantastic spot for a good drink and meal in Danville. Food was absolutely fantastic and the small-town atmosphere was magical.

Brought home a lil' somethin for a midnite snack! (see "bongo~bongo dip".photo)...... A great experience at BJ's Danville! Our first visit to this location. We walked through the door and greeted by a familar face, Miss.Heather, all smiles! This set the tone for our evening. Seated at a comfy booth, promptly Miss.Sarah, our waitress arrived taking our drink order. I was very happy to see Pressed Coffee served at this location too, it's a favorite of mine at the Selinsgrove location. Drinks came fast! We placed our order and settled in for some conversation and to take in "the vibe". Koul art throughout ... A really nice bar area ...another dining room in the rear of the restaurant, boasting huge windows, add to the open air feel of this dining room.I also saw an outside dining area, great for the warmer months! Miss. Sarah arrived at our table with our dinner choices ...for the Mrs. A Blue cheese burger...and for myself, Bongo~Bongo Chicken and of course we had BJ's legendary "Bongo~Bongo Dip" ...a must have at every visit to BJ's! .... Everything was perfection, cooked to order and HOT! .... Miss Sarah kept a close eye on our drinks, making sure we were never in need of anything. No desert this time, as we were just too full! .... A awesome first visit to the Danville location .... Thanks for the hospitality Miss. Heather! ...and the spot on service Miss. Sarah.... BJ's Danville, we will definitely be back!

I thought this place was very delicious. I love finding hidden gem and this was definitely a hit. Clam Chowder was phenomenal. Way better than I anticipated. Crab dib was amazing, freshly out the oven. The steak was also good, just feel as if there should be bigger servings of the steak. Overall great place to get some amazing food for a relatively reasonable price. Enjoyed my time and definitely will be back again.

The salmon with pesto sauce dinner I had here June 29 2023 was one of the best meals I've ever had. The entire meal was seasoned and cooked to perfection and the salad was perfectly fresh. The quality at this culinary gem is on a par with the best you can find in Manhattan and Chicago. If I'm ever back in Danville, this is where I'm dining.

Service was great. Food was plentiful and delicious. Outside seating is very nice. BJ Bomber is an amazing and large alcoholic drink. No complaints about anything will definitely be back again. Thank you

Absolutely loved my first experience at BJ's. The small atmosphere felt very personal and catered. Our waitress was more than exceptional and the Bongo Bongo chicken was TO DIE FOR. Reasonably priced as well, will DEFINITELY be returning! :)

Our first time here. What a fabulous meal we had. The oysters were amazing. You can order by the each which I love. You can make a great assortment appetizer. The bar drinks, yowza!! Perfection. I ordered steak and lobster. The lobster was among the top of that I have ever had in my 62 year old life! Our server was attentive and right on time. My steak unfortunately was way over-cooked.. The manager, who was quite gracious, made it up to me. Management at M Street, if you read the reviews…..We already have plans to return next Saturday. Thank you for the great meal and wonderful service. Keep up your great work? You are doing it right!

We love BJ's! Their food never disappoints. Their burgers are on point and I love their wings!

First time visiting the Danville location and we were impressed. We rarely ever order steak when we go out, but we ordered steak with seafood options and we were VERY IMPRESSED! They came out at the exact temp we asked for and the scallops & crab cake were perfect! We ordered drinks from their menu and the bartender did not disappoint either. Finally, our server was charming and very attentive (which seems to be rare these days). Overall a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back soon! Well done
