Exxon at American Truck Plaza

This location has drastically improved👌🏽. Very clean store. Customer service is great; the location also has locally made products and food items. Commercial parking could use a little TLC. I noticed that the upkeep is better than when it was a Petro and also a Pilot/Flying J.

So it's not all caught up with tickets or points . But the place is awesome for travelers to chill relax do laundry since they have more than 2 . They have multiple washers and dryers.
A real game room , 2 TV rooms . Showers hey they use disinfectant.
Warm towels hot showers. Good overall for a first time start up. Give them a chance the staff are awesome.
Dawn at the counter is awesome.
Over all I don't have enough stars for these guys. Thank you from the bottom Canadian.

We always stop here during long trips. They have everything you could want/need. The layout inside is unique and it is nice to have a fast food option as well as a sit-down option. They have plenty of snack and drink options as well as things like DVDs and clothing that you might not find in a normal gas station.

Great spot, employees were nice and helpful! Excellent customer service with a wide variety of choices. Bakes goods, beverages, microwave meals and snacks. Bathroom available! 🚻 I loved that there was a microwave accessible to customers.

Parking is now free. They have a premium parking behind the Sunoco. Good choice by the owner.

Clean and friendly staff with a good selection of items to choose from. Coffee was okay, too.

The store was clean many foods to choose from. There is ample truck parking. It costs but it is not a lot.

After I read people review ... wasent surprised lol...I mean this isn't a 5star hotel...you get what you pay for...for my experience here...inside was clear ofcourse no restaurant on site being open...bathroom was clean then most TA and pilot I've have been to so far...nobody bothered us being parked here...my husband did mention pot holes lol but what truck stop you have been to that was smooth lol I mean really lol...other then that I understand its under a new management...and as a buisness owner experience I can understand how difficult it is for new changes..transfer...just the whole idea starting fresh...it's alot mentally and financially...to the owner I hope you take these reviews and continue to improve better for your success...Good Luck👍

Thus place use to be the dumps, literally I should know I use to be outside janitor and this place looked like a landfill. Now it's under new management and this place has turned around A LOT the middle of this year there will be a food court with several vendors the employees are dressed properly and paid properly and you know when they are paid properly they act properly. I would have gave this place not even a half a star 7 8 months ago but I give it a 5 today because I know the changes it went through and most of all I know the changes yet to come! If you use to stop here but don't no more because it got ran into ground well we would love for you to come back around and o promise you, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for reading. The service at American truck
Plaza was excellent! We had trouble getting hot coffee and they ended up giving us coffee for free and would not accept any money!

Really nice and quiet place to park. Paved parking. Showers and laundry. They need employees, though. Short staffed. If you’re looking for a job, they’re actively hiring at the time of this post. The potholes have apparently been filled.

One guy employee with a bleached-blonde pony tail mentioned “the owner only wants to start people at $8 an hour, that’s why nobody wants to work here.” Clearly, this guy doesn’t know anything about economics. $8 per hour, STARTING wage for this location is good. There are lots of things to consider when specifying the wage of an employee. Perhaps this guy should learn more about business management and economics, before telling customers about what a fair wage is.

I've been going there for a long time and eat Subway at least 3 times a week. Today was the first time I ever saw one of the convenience store employees jump in to help the Subway worker who had a line across the entire store. They worked very well together and whoever the other person was did a great job. They made my sub exactly how I asked which surprised me since I've seen them work the store before but never Subway. So glad Subway is starting to turn around there. Good job everyone!

While the selection of personal care products were lacking, it's a little more than your run of the mill TA station. Two sets of bathrooms, with a good snack selection, an up and coming food court to be opened sometime soon (likely in the summer), machines to throw your money at and spend time if you need to stay for an extended period for some reason, and, most excitingly of all, AN ARCADE.

This sort of surprised me and blew me away. I don't know how many of these stations typically have them--this was a first for me! Equipped with a pool table, first person shooter style arcades, and other games to boot, this TA stop certainly is a cut above the rest.

If you are on your way across PA traveling on 80, I highly recommend this stop over others, especially if you have time on your hands to play games in the arcade while you put some life back into your legs.

awesome truck stop....used to be a Pilot Flying J and also a Roadys. Has 3 parking lots, one with diesel fuel, one with restaurant soon to fully open...and upstairs parking lot. Pizza was done in super fast oven in about 5 minutes and was delicious!!!!

Probably the best convenience store/truck stop I've ever been to.

Pay to park, and worth every penny in this big lot! Busy northeast truck traffic and small rest areas, this is my favorite truck stop in PA.

Flying J is great. I found out about these places when I drove over the road and I still go to nail even though I'm not driving a tractor-trailer. Always clean the food is fresh the staff is friendly. If you ever get a chance to stop but one of these truck stops do so they're great.

A tremendous amount of parking great for truck drivers, bathroom was very clean a lot of options to choose from in store and the employees were helpful and very knowledgeable of the area. I did not have the opportunity to visit the restaurant but it appeared clean and the specials available for dining seem reasonably priced.

Nice truck stop with lot of parking. They are working on tv room and restaurant but not operational yet. I t might a too dark but there is lot of parking. Very nice game room. It is not a flying J or pilot anymore but I hope they can fix this truck stop to be a great place to stop,

Update June 28th- while the store is definitely getting better , I won't be stopping here anymore , I rarely spend the night usually grab my stuff and park at the customer. Tonight I didn't have the hours so I grab my stuff from the store and 25 bucks later I'm heading to find a parking spot. Couple hours later I'm having to pay security to park if it was 15 or 20 in the store to park then I could deal with it but I'm not supporting a store that thinks they're parking which isn't very level and not near a major city is worth 30 dollars when I've stayed at Ta's and Petros near Chicago and other major city's for less. I understand needing to make money but as a trucker everyone has there hands in our pockets , fuel , tolls , repairs etc but I refuse to be told to pay 30 dollars in store to park. It was a good place to stop until they got greedy. Good luck with your business milton travel plaza

Update - I guess the contract ended with pilot flying j and now that the owner is getting all the money and not paying pfj a stupid licensing amount they are fixing the old place up , driveway is being fixed, there is food supplies and even the drink case is full, hope they keep it up. I'll support them as long as I see the place continue getting better and continue to have supplies

Once a great truckstop , now owned by someone who is just milking it for cash then im sure they will sell it to the highest bidder. Shelves are very bare, dirty, building is getting run down. It's unfortunate that the owner doesn't care more and revive this old place. Haven't stopped here in over 3 years and don't see a need to stop for atleast another 3 . Employees were pleasant and I feel bad that they can't and for some don't take pride in there place of employment.
