Canal Street Park

Great biking and walking trails. This is an excellent place to put in to the Lehigh River if you are tubing, kayaking, or canoeing. Also, you can swim at the river's edge because it is pretty shallow at that point. Some of these photos that I added at the Canal Street Park were when the Lehigh River actually flooded and the river level was extremely high. That is not the norm.

We attended a car show at the canal park. There was a band that was really awesome they're group name is:
The Castaway Band. The group is fantastic, the electric guitar player was extremely talented. Every song they played, sounded like the original bands. The organizer of the event was very nice and accommodating. There were a lot of show cars.
My enterance #was 104 and my husband was 105 and there were more car's that followed us in to the show. Lots of vendors and 2 food trucks. Restrooms in a building. They did a great job. They gave awards to the two little guys that had battery operated cars. They were so excited that they won. It was a perfect day. I would recommend one thing, adding some vendors that focus on kids for example: a large metal wash tub with rubber ducks in water to pick a duck and possibly win a prize if they pick a duck with a color on the bottom. My favorite park in the area. It had a long stretch of paved walkway. This makes it easy to bike or run on. The lights are on after it gets dark that makes it perfect for late strolls to walk the dog. There are plenty of benches. It's right next to the river that you can also walk down to and tube in. There is a play area for the kids and a baseball field. I havent seen any bathrooms though. There is one small pavillion and a few BBQ pits. Nice, quiet area makes a great day in this park.

i had a grate time at this park. Right next to a beutifil flowing river, the lehigh river which splits the land.

always a good place to walk, ride bikes, or even just sit. good for catching pokémon if you still play pokémon go. you always have a very nice view of the river too, so that’s a plus. nice for if you need to a good place to walk or clear your head!

Very quite place. I was there on a Sunday and was not crowded

This is an excellent place to walk or bike the long . Or just sit and enjoy nature

Awesome event. Lots of dog and cat visitors, also saw one bird. Two thumbs up for this event.

Great place for running and bike riding, clean and quiet and sorrounded by the river. Beautiful spot in a small town.

Grew up fishin here. Saylor park is across the river in Coplay.

Clean and great place to take kids/family of any age. Great playground with a lot of options for kids. Basketball court and baseball field. Can't rule out the being next to the river and hearing that while watching your family. Awesome walking trail, gazebo, and picnic area.

Unfortunately, on this day, the river was so high that it was up to the walking trail and the current was very strong. No swimming for my family.
There was someone fishing right at the entrance to the river. Yes he caught 2 trout fish, 1 eel and 1 snake.
Hopefully we can get back to the river before summer is over..

This is a great place to take a walk with your family and/or pet. There's a nice paved trail, baseball fields where you can stop to enjoy a little league game, and playground equipment scattered throughout. With the cool river breeze, this is a great place to get some exercise.

Nice clean park. Trails great for walking biking or pushing a stroller! Bring out the whole family get outside and live life like the 80s fresh air and AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Great place to bring the kids. We brought our lunch and ate in the pavilion. The kids ran around the playground while I relaxed on a bench and enjoyed the view of the river. There is also a convenient rest room.

Great walking trail. Well maintained and pet friendly.

This riverside park contains a playground, 2 baseball fields, a basketball and tennis court, a pavilion, public restrooms, and a boat launch. The park also contains a paved 1-mile-or-so section of the D&L Trail, with benches and exercise equipment alongside. Good amount of parking at either end, and throughout park.

Nice park! area for kids.....also a baseball field, a 1 mile walking trail with stations to do exercises, nice view of the river and water falls! Oh and a boat launch.
