Liberty Er Physicians Group

Our daughter needed to visit the emergency room to get some stitches after the urgent care had closed. It was a simple procedure and only the nurse practitioner was on staff. She told us she worked for the hospital and not the physicians group (I had noticed a sign that you said if treated by a doctor you will get a separate bill from the physicians group in addition to the hospital). Later, I ended up getting a bill from both groups, and called to the physician group to explain we were never treated by a doctor - I was told the nurse was "under the supervision of a physician". So I had no doctor but had to pay for a doctor!! I don't know any other industry where I have for someone to do some work and then pay a separate bill for their supervisor who was never there! Awful!

Getting ready to report to attorney General and BBB ...i have never been here and I received a bill-this is fraud ...moreover I have insurance and hsa...i do not leave balances at any doctor i see ever

Just got a bill from this place I've never been there and have no idea where it is. Supposedly it's from a service in 2017... scam is what it is 😡
