La kang Thai French cuisine

We went during a busy time but thank goodness we had a reservation. I recommend to place a reservation because it flooded with people during lunch time. Due to it being busy, we waited an hour before we were served our food. Our waiter was super nice though and she checked up on us a decent amount before our food came out. We ordered the grilled octopus for an appetizer and the entrees were the mussaman curry and Sriracha fried rice. We expected more octopus for the appetizer but everything tasted great. The portion sizes of the entrees are worth the money. Would 100% go again.

A very nice place to dine at. They also do a good take out business. This time we had the La Kang sampler, drunken noodles with flank steak, pineapple fried rice with salmon. All very good.

Amazing Thai food! I visited Thailand several times and lived there for several months. I love Thai food. So you can believe me when I say: this restaurant serves VERY good Thai food! Also, the place is super cute inside. I definitely will return when I’m back in the Lehigh Valley.

Definitely recommend! We first tried their food at garlic fest and had to try more! After having an amazing lunch at their restaurant we will 1000% come back again. Their staff is always friendly and the food is just so flavorful.

I recently dined here and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable. My waitress, Mya, went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was memorable. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and incredibly friendly. The food was delicious, and Myas recommendations were spot on. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you're lucky enough to have Mya as your server. Her exceptional service truly elevated the entire dining experience.

A Simply Wonderful Experience with Family. Our family got together to celebrate Dad's birthday. I had never been here before and was simply blown away by all the different options on the menu. I enjoyed a wonderful sea scallop signature dish. The scallops were done to perfection, and the spice level was medium. The get-together was just wonderful! The other dishes that fellow dinner guests enjoyed included Massaman Curry (this one lit the fires and made me sweat! Make sure to order medium and you'll be fired up just right.) Basil Curry Rice, Green Curry Chicken, and Roast Duck. This fine establishment has yet to be discovered by the masses. It was so nice to enjoy time with family in a quiet, peaceful atmosphere at a top-notch restaurant in the Lehigh Valley! Another great feature is the fact that this establishment is BYOB. (Bring your wine!) For full disclosure, I am an "interstate" local guide and travel here and other places often. I have yet to discover another Thai restaurant like this with so much selection and flavor!

Amazing food, beautiful ambience. Everything was so flavorful and tasty and when they said spicy it was actually spicy. Loved it.
Besides that there were few miscommunications in terms of service like swapping the bill, mentioning the appetizer came in 3 pieces but came in 2 and we were 3 people. But regardless kind staff who were helpful.

Came in on a Saturday around 5:30pm and it was just starting to get busy. It was our first time here and looked pretty empty for a Saturday evening but to our surprise, it picked up around 6:30pm and they had take-out orders coming in nonstop. Our meals were delicious and the ambience was very relaxing. The only complaint I have is the wait time once seated regarding our server. The servers in general seem to have their hands completely full just trying to handle the take-out let alone the full dining room. Overall though, it was a pleasant evening. Thanks!

You get a TON of food, enough for two meals. We order from here all the time and it’s always been great. Nice outdoor patio at the restaurant too.

We had a large party for the outdoor bbq event and everything was amazing. The food was delicious and was served quickly. All the dishes looked as good as you would see in a gourmet magazine. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was open and comfortable. We are going to make this a restaurant we visit monthly. Thank you to the staff for hosting a fun event that we could be a part of.

Went to this restaurant for the first time on my birthday and already planning my next visit! Great menu selection, beautiful decor, and relaxing setting. I especially loved the mango sticky rice. I am spoiled because I have family from Thailand who cook for me often, but La Kangs food tastes just as fresh as theirs. This is definitely a unique Thai restaurant and I definitely recommend it even if you’ve never tried Thai before!

Best meal out I've had in a long time. Our table shared all of our apps, entrees and desserts so I was able to try a lot. Every dish was fantastic. I recommend the skirt steak appetizer, which was incredibly flavorful and tender, paired nicely with a sweet tamarind sauce. The "curry flight" special was excellently prepared and presented, and gave everyone an opportunity to try three distinct dishes at once. The curries were so flavorful, I wanted to finish the leftover sauce with a spoon even though I was beyond full.

My only critique is that they have you box your own food at the table. This is fine for a casual eatery, but I would describe La Kang as "elevated" with a classier atmosphere and white tablecloths. I found it a bit odd to have had such an amazing meal, then be expected to navigate scraping saucy food into small containers without making a mess. Otherwise, a flawless experience! I will most definitely be back.

Absolutely love the concept and the dishes!! My new favorite restaurant in PA for its unique and delicious Thai cuisine. They offer Fair prices, delicious flavors, and large portion sizes. I immediately had to try the pad Thai which is encased in egg. I highly recommend trying their desserts and mushroom rolls on the side if you’re looking for something different. Plus, the staff was very friendly, there’s tons of parking space, and there’s outside seating. I will definitely be returning!

Thai fine but slightly casual dining if you must say. Homey feeling but yet formal. Prices are fairly good for how well they present the food and the quantity. Spring rolls and tofu satay were wonderful. Husband got duck fried rice and was impressed. I enjoyed my tofu red curry. Requested spicy but it wasn’t so only slight tiff I would say. They charge for chili sauce $2 extra which we went for because hey we’re Indian and we like our food spicy. Small quantity though. But for our entrees we do have Left overs for today. Can’t wait to go back and try more things. Finding authentic Thai food in this area that actually matches the flavor we’ve had in Thailand has been difficult but this is there. Also BYOB.

This place is a gem. We wanted somewhere special to go for Valentine’s Day and this sounded really good. Wow. I don’t even have words for the food, the atmosphere, the service. I absolutely loved it. Definitely will be coming here more often.

This was the absolute best Thai dinner I have ever had, period. Nice warm spice heat on the Pad Prik Khing w/flank steak, and the flavor of the Butternut Squash soup with its cream, candied bacon, and pumpkin seeds were to die for. The ambiance and service were fabulous to boot. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!

Most wonderful Thai food I've ever had in the continental United States. Tried the crab cakes and fried rice and the red curry.

This place is so amazing. We didn’t expect much at first but when we walked in, we were impressed with the cute decoration. Every detail was well thought of. Food tastes amazing and authentic. Portion was generous. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back to try different dishes when we are in the area again.

Accidentally ended up here due to a GPS error, but it was such an amazing surprise. The food was great! We had Shrimp Drunken Noodles, Steak Pineapple Fried Rice and Chicken Green Curry. They were all pretty authentic, and can be less spicy if requested. The environment was lovely and our waitress was very friendly as well.

To be honest, La Kang here and hellertown are the best thai food restaurants in the lehigh valley. The food is deliciously consistent everytime. I highly recommend this place and the one in hellertown. The four of us ordered the sampler for appetizer, pad thai, red , green , and massaman curry, 2 extra order of rice and 1 order of ice cream, bill came to 100 bucks, still had left overs too, nowadays with inflation you can't beat that
