Giovannis Pizza And Gyro King exceeded all my expectations with their lamb gyro!

As someone born and raised in Europe, I've had my fair share of gyros, but this one stands out. The tender and flavorful lamb, combined with the perfect blend of spices, took me right back to the streets of Europe.

The pita was warm and soft, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. I can confidently say that Giovannis' lamb gyro rivals the best I've had back home. A definite 5-star experience!

I'm from Brooklyn and wound up staying in Port Jervis Bonsecur Hospital. This place came across my feed and I'm not really feeling the hospital cuisine so, I gave it a shot and may l add not one single complaint, can I make about Giovanni's! Food was hot on delivery, great portions and so delicious.
Philly cheese steak, steak chops and fries and buffalo wings were without a doubt on point!! I even called back to complement the place. Thank you for you dedication to making great food in your area. I will definitely stop in there to see it in person soon!!

I went here for lunch today. I'm new to the area and kept wanting to stop and finally did today. Yea the place isn't the cleanest but if I'm gonna rate the food it's a 5 star fresh gyro. The man was super friendly and service was fast. I will be back. 4 stars on atmosphere because he was so nice.

I only had a gyro once. Excellent. Giovanni has elegance, he manages to use common items to produce a great atmosphere. It feels like you are somewhere in the east Mediterranean before the internet

My husband and I were passing through Matamoros and ordered delivery after a long day on the road. We opted for gyros and hot wings and they were DELICIOUS. I used to work at an authentic Greek restaurant in a traditional Greek community so I’m picky about Greek food. Giovanni’s gyros surpassed my expectations. Hot wings were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. Delivery was prompt and friendly. Prices were reasonable. Would eat here again in a heartbeat. Can’t stop thinking about those gyros…

We just ordered for the first time for delivery, in Montague, IT WAS AMAZING! I don't leave reviews but the gyros were so good I had too. Overfilled with meat and so tender. Will absolutely be ordering from here again!

OMG...just stopped in to grab a quick sandwich on our way home from work and decided to try a slice...wish my husband and I had gotten 2 slices rather than share one cuz hands down this man's pizza is the best I've had in a long time...move over brick oven and brother Bruno's cuz Giovanni's is #1 on my list is this area and surrounding areas...little family owned places like this always seem to have the best food...he's been serving people for over 40 yrs and now I know why...expect to see me back, thank you for such great food!!

Absolutely amazing gyros and pizza stopped by on a cross country trip from Colorado to Connecticut will absolutely be back. All the reviews for the gyro's are spot on huge amount of meat that's cut and seasoned perfectly if your in the area stop by!

This is a gem of a food experience!! Michael the owner was so nice, and the gyros were definitely one of the best I've ever had. We were treated to some home made cannolis as well!! Will 100% be back!!

Omg was it ever good!! The Chicken Parmigiana with Linguini and Marinara was excellent!! The portion was enough for two!! Husband got the Tuna wrap which he says was very good. Thank you… we needed a good meal while traveling across country!!!!

This place has the best food! Their gyros are amazing, their Sicilian pizza is amazing! I haven't had a bad meal yet from Giovanni's.

1st time there..today. gyros was great. The gentleman at the counter gave me a heart shaped flan. When we left. ( very nice and unexpected) . Definitely will be back !! THANK YOU.

Ordered delivery arrived sooner than expected on Thanksgiving but owner himself, asked if I liked turkey, I said yes he said wait don’t eat the pizza yet and brought me back a whole turkey dinner! Which was especially nice since I had to work and hadn’t had one, did in fact taste the pizza it was great and a very kind gesture from this man, Mike. 👍

Excellent always fresh n delicious...the owner the nicest man...food prepared quickly...little wait time...lot of meat in the gyros...no complaints all good...just wonderful in every way.

We were recently in the area. Ordered delivery 2 nights in a row because it was so yummy. The owner is a jewel. He actually delivered one of the nights. The portions were very generous and very good!

If you are reading this and looking for reasons to go to this place , then stop, close your phone and get the food from this place. Just do it. It is the best food in all of the Poconos area. We were pleasantly surprised. We will be only ordering from this place from now on

The gyros here are the best. The don't skimp on the meat like other places. Owner is a sweet heart and really takes care of his customers.

stopped by for my mom's birthday got 2 pies and a t bone steak for all under $30 and a free Flan! this guy is amazing. he said all the birthday people get free Flan! stop by and check it out for yourself!
