Tommy's in Tamaqua does serve some of the Freshest and Delicious Subs/Hoagies in the area. Personally, my go to Hoagies are their Regular & Tuna Fish. Their Cheesesteaks are also Delicious . Their secret, in my opinion, is in the Homemade Hoagie Rolls which are made Fresh Daily.

The service is wonderful, Jen, Sam, Sharon, Tina and several other crew members go to great lengths to cook and provide the best quality food and service to their customers!!!

Two specials are always a crowd pleaser. Tuesdays it's buy 1 Hoagie at Regular price get another for half price. Fridays special is a Baked Haddock Platter w/ mac-n- cheese & stewed tomatoes! There are many more delicious Hoagies , Platters and Appetizers to choose from.

If your passing through the area and decide to stop in on the fly, allow for some extra time due to large customer volumes at times.

Stopped here, original destination closed for vacation. Great small shop. Service was a little slow but very busy on Saturday morning. Wanna go back and try a hoagie

Chicken Cheesteak, Italian Sub. They have a niche with the bread rolls, very good flavor. You have to tell them 3x about extra mayo or ketchup and they still don't listen. Sometimes you are working and don't have access to extra condiments.

Best hoagies (and freshest bread in town!). The pizza is really tasty too...
Reasonable prices. Forms of payment: cash or check, no credit cards accepted. I think it would be a little tight getting into the restaurant with a wheelchair, but it's doable. A few handicapped parking spaces. They have stools at the counter that you can sit on, or booths. Service is top-notch. A++

Great little local hoagie shop, with great views of the Reading Blue Mountain RR station in historic Tamaqua.

I live in Allentown 15 yrs but been all over the place thru areas due to trucking as my job....I've passed this place for yrs have pictures with my kids cross street at train station....I finally stopped in as I always wanted toy in 2023 I hate stopping in truck for things but sometimes I have to and here is kinda hard to lololol but I made it my business to today due to visiting in next area....I am so glad I stopped the service wis cool and kind the place is clean the people are nice and the sandwich is good too will save half for later I definitely will stop again soon or few days but I am thankful for the time I had to come thru...Always good to find nice places to eat in other areas than Allentown event hough I am from NY....thanks again and very much appreciated

In a world of chain restaurants and fast food, an old time sub shop with decent prices is refreshing.

First time here. The hoagies are great and I'll more than likely make it my new daily go to because of the atmosphere. I love the older dinette style inside. they get extremely busy so wait times are expected. they're really nice people. I'm honestly unsure why there are any negative reviews at all.

Came in with boy scouts pizza and hoagie tickets. Very awesome one pizza served 4 people and we each had 2 slices. Hoagies where good too. Nice bunch of ladies running the counter! Thanks so much!

Great hoagies along with their other food selections. Tuesdays are buy one large hoagie get one 1/2 off. They also have a daily unbaked pizza sale two for $15.99. Cash or check only accepted for payment.

They have amazingggg food!! I’m a FL girl and used to come here with someone from my past when visiting, unfortunately it was a heart break… still mending lol, but it’s been a a couple years since I’ve been back and it’s still too nostalgic that I’ll definitely be returning at some point in life💛 highly recommend and the people and regulars are sweet💛 p.s. try the cheese fries!!😋

Best hoagie rolls ever! The hoagie are so good and they are stuffed full not skimpy! We drive over an hour just for their Italian hoagie. Tommy's is a small little place but the people are nice and the food is great.

Cash only place, but the rolls are some of the best I've had. I live over an hour away but if i am passing through town this is the spot i will grab a hoagie at.
