Asia Star

Just had a fantastic sushi supper at Asia Star. We ordered some of our favorites and we're pleased that it came out so beautifully presented. The service was a bit slow because it seems like many people walk in and make an order for take away and we could hear the orders coming through their system as well. The food was delicious and that's probably why there's such a big to-go business, but treat yourself and eat in! No sake or Japanese beers to wash it down, but many choices of soft drinks.

Had an amazing meal. I got something off the dinner combo platter menu. Three garlic. My son had the sushi regular and we had some egg rolls.

Everything was spectacular the egg rolls were fresh and hot and a great flavor and presented well.

The three garlic with white rice was really good and everything was cooked well and plenty of vegetables which is great because so many places don't give you enough vegetables. It could have been a little spicier though. But that's probably perhaps cuz I really like Szechuan food.

The Miso soup was perhaps the best miso soup I ever had.

Sushi was presented well and everything was served looking delicious.

I've been meaning to check this place out since they opened, ordered some pick-up today for lunch because I was hungry for sushi. I was not disappointed, rainbow row, tuna roll, and another forgot the name of, and a bowl of Miso soup and everything was fantastic. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

This place has some of the best Sushi around!! They have amazing Chinese cuisine and the Dragon and Phenix is a must!! If you go in then you have to try the homemade sweet tea in the cooler. It's in the white cups...

A gem! I’m so glad I found this place. The food is always spectacular, the workers are nice, and everything is super quick. I do wish the combo meals naturally came with extra brown/garlic sauce but that’s my fault forgetting to ask! The general tso is extremely tender and not too spicy. I ask for extra wasabi and they give you a quarter size ball of it! I will say, I’ve never had a sweet potato roll still that warm! Delicious.

Best Chinese I've tried in 20 years in Carbon County. The Muu Shu pork was excellent, with the all important tree ears. Haven't eaten my Wonton soup yet but it looks delicious. Next time sushi!

We order our "special" of chicken, shrimp, and broccoli in garlic sauce w/shrimp fried rice or General Tso's chicken, and both dishes are absolutely delicious!! We also enjoy their shrimp egg rolls! The staff is friendly!

We had eaten here twice. Both times, the food was delicious. The staff is polite and kind. I highly recommend this place!

Best Chinese food hands down. Of course my guys are from Brooklyn!!! We do it right always.

Staff and food are always great, the place is always nice and clean.

We arrived around noon and there was no wait to be seated (although afterward, people began to fill the tables and come in for takeout). The waitress was pleasant and eager to take our order. The menu is expansive, with typical Chinese fare and options. What got us excited was the sushi menu! There are ample options to choose from, from specialty rolls to simple. We ordered a couple of specialty and regular rolls and loved every delicious bite. I've been to a few sushi places and been glad for the tabletop soy sauce, but this meal was so tasty we didn't need a drop of soy to enhance the flavors. We will absolutely be returning in the future and I am so excited now to have sushi as an option for a quick dinner pick up after work!

First time here. Loved the food; great, pleasant, and quick service! My family and I will definitely return!

Food was excellent for the price staff was excellent food was out on time I would highly recommend to my friends an family to check out Asia Star in Tamaqua Pa
