Canonsburg Hospital

My wife was sent here from AGH for inpatient therapy. From the moment she arrived to the day she was discharged she was treated with respect and dignity. The nurses and therapists were friendly and professional. The entire staff seemed to go out of their way to assure her comfort. In the two weeks she was there she, through the help of the therapist, made enough progress in regaining the use of her legs to feel comfortable returning home.
I would most certainly recommend this facility to anyone who needed inpatient therapy.

My experience at Canonsburg AHN has been nothing but positive! In addition, the prompt cancer diagnosis saved my nephew’s life. I would never hesitate to trust my care to Canonsburg.

Dr Yakish & entire staff are above and beyond excellent! I had a recent Out Patient hip replacement and received outstanding, compassionate care here. The entire staff treated me with respect and such kindness. My deepest gratitude to all!

We visited the emergency department on Friday october 13th after our 19 month old fell while climbing on our dining table, and split his little face from his nose to the top of his lip-resulting in 5 stitches.
From walking through security, to the room, everyone was exceptionally kind and professional. While there were many in the waiting room, the wait before being called back was not even 15 min!
Our nurse Alyssa was amazing and kind, as was the PA, Logan. As a mother I could not have asked for better treatment or care for my baby. I am certain the two women who were taking care of my sons needs were treating him just like they would their own child(ren).truthfully what more can you ask for. I would not hesitate to return to this faciliity in the future. Thank you Canonsburg emergency Department!!!

Everyone from ER to Cardiac care; the doctors, assistants, nurses, and the professionals throughout my stay were considerate , kind and respectful. Most of all, I was part of my care. Questions were answered patiently and completely. It was a scary experience but one that made me feel confident in all my caregivers.

Took my sick toddler in around 4am, I can't say enough good about the provider he saw and the nurse who we had. They were SO gentle, loving and kind to a miserable little guy who had no idea what was going on or where he was. Dr even made sure to check my son's stuffy to show him it was OK before checking him and shared stories about his own kids favorite stuffy and struggles of late night er visits. As a burnt out, stressed out and exhausted Mama I can't even begin to say how grateful I was to their staff for taking such loving care of my miserable little man.

Everyone from front door to triage to ER assessment to nurses and doctors were the most helpful, polite people I’ve have truthfully ever met. I was taken care of right away and was never left wondering if they forgot about me. The care I received was the best I have ever received esp for the issue I had. This will be the only hospital I will go to from now on!!!

All the negative reviews seem to be about the ER side of the hospital... My time in medical imaging was nothing but positive.. I had a stress test done there and even though there was only one camera working, the nurses efficiently moved us through. Very friendly and attentive (like nice warm blankets).... I would return and we'll definitely recommend....

They were on top of everything and made sure I was well taken care from check in to release day

Accompanied a patient at the surgery center at this hospital. Such an excellent facility. Security not only checked me in but escorted me to the waiting area I needed. They provide a numerical ID to the patients linked to the TV in the waiting room so you can keep track of the patient. (At pre-op, in procedure, in recovery, etc) Additionally, the doctor came out to discuss the surgery personally with me immediately after completion. At each step the staff members were informative, knowledgeable & accommodating. They provided clear timelines and what to expect throughout the entire body. && most importantly, stuck to the timelines! Excellent facility and staff.

The staff that performs the mammograms are so kind and professional. This was the most painless mammogram I have ever had!

I came to AGH Canonsburg on Thursday night after leaving another hospital that would not help me. I was admitted immediately and treated with such kindness by everyone there. Mark in the emergency department and Sheryl and Carol on the second floor were all a godsend, treated me with dignity and respect in my worst hours, and helped keep my pain down until I could go in for gallbladder removal surgery. I won’t go anywhere else for an emergency from now on. I can’t thank you all enough!

I have been here since Nov11. This is where my doctor does his sutgery. So far, I have gotten good care, the nursing staff has been very friendly, attentive and caring. Physical therapy has been excellent, and the food has been decent.

Excellent medical care. Staff and Drs well skilled and knowledgeable for your medical needs. No need to go to Pittsburgh for a hospital.

I loved this hospital! The nurses and doctors were all very friendly and helpful! They also got me in and out super fast! I had to get x-rays done and I was in and out with my results in about an hour!

The nurse Emylee (spelling perhaps wrong) was a breath of fresh air. So sweet so caring and amazing at her job. And the male doctor i saw today D’alessio (spelling definitely wrong) was awesome also

I very nice hospital. I came here as a followup of my left humerus surgery. Doctor, Nurse and everyone is very helpful and provides prompt service. I would like to recommend Canonsburg hospital to everyone!!

Had a great experience. All the staff was kind and courteous. I was lucky it was not busy. They got me in taken care of and out. I would highly recommend this ER.

Obviously unfortunate that I needed to stop there on our way home from Pittsburgh to Louisville but can’t say enough good about the staff and the experience.

Very fast service and excellent doctors and nurses. From the time i walked in the door i was being treated by a doctor in less that 10 minutes and they explained everything very thoroughly
