Gentle Dental Sparks

Very satisfied with my latest appointment at Gentle Dental in Sparks. The staffing was friendly and courteous, there was no lengthy wait time, the entire office area was clean and orderly, my attending hygenist was efficient and informative. All in all, a pleasant experience considering it was a teeth cleaning dental appointment.

I went in with a broken tooth, not knowing what the outcome would be. Doctor came in and told me I needed a crown. I was so nervous but he and the assistant made me feel so comfortable. Gentle Dental is the best!!!!!!

Dr. Jesse Cardenas explained dental radiographs to me in layman's terms so that I could understand what was going on with my teeth and gums. He made the appropriate referral for the specialized Endodontics that I needed. The entire staff at Gentle Dental conducted themselves in a friendly manner and followed medical protocol.

Gentle Dental in Sparks Nevada is absolutely fantastic, I would recommend them in a heartbeat 👍

I just had the “dreaded” root canal, and can say that Dr. Cardenas is the best! I was expecting the worse, and aside from a little post-operative pain, the procedure was flawless. Dr. Cardenas is very skillful and I definitely trust him with my dental work.

Saved my crown. Eating saltwater taffy, which I’m not supposed to do. They were able to put my crown back in. The only thing is they did a better job at putting the crown back in than the original dentist did putting it in place. Would recommend this dentist.

Was supposed to have an appointment on 4 Aug 2023. Time was changed from 1 to noon the day of the appointment. Then on the way to the appointment, since I was seen last on an “emergency” basis I need to make an appointment for a new patient. Because they need X-rays of my mouth. They did that when I seen them on an emergency basis. Was told next appointment would be in September, which I would need to take more time off of work, which what I did for this canceled appointment. Was told I would need something in the later afternoon preferably on a Friday. This was so I did not have to use any more of my PTO for a dental appointment as I am going on a cruise in March. Well, Friday’s are out of the question, but never mind that I only said fridays was preferred. I am going elsewhere to have my needs taken care of.

This office is one of my favs. I used to dread going to the dentist, but since switching to gentle dental, it’s not such a chore. Dental hygienist Allie is absolutely amazing. She is kind, caring, and a wonderful teacher. She took the time to explain proper flossing for my 9 year old son. She went the extra mile, and I highly recommend her. Thanks Allie!

Dr.Cardenas is a life saver! Him and his exceptional staff made my appointment “losing my front tooth” dignified and transparent. I’ve never been to a dental office with so many devoted staff members! This is the type of dental office I’ve been looking for, compassionate and professional. 10/10

I am very impressed with the service and patient care that Dr. Cardenas provides to his patients. You won’t wonder what is going on and what side effect to expect (pain or potential difficulties), he will explain everything and prepare you for how to go through your dental therapy and treatment.
He would advocate for you if you are not satisfied with the outcome. Besides, he is very gentle, accurate, and passionate about his job. I can tell that he loves what he does and knows what he does. I trust that doctor and won’t go to any other dentist.

Everyone in the office is sweet, fast and efficient. I have been with this dentist for years and am consistently impressed with their cleanliness, friendliness and connection to their patients. I leave feeling heard and taken care of. I live in Reno and will continue to drive out here for the care I receive!

I've had nothing but the best care, but then COVID hit and I didn't go back. I am returning to them again because you can't trust all dentists and I feel I get the next care with Dr Cardenas.

I am so happy I had to go to this office while my dentist was on vacation I’m very hesitant to see new dentists and the doctor here is very kind and thorough he explained my options and I left very reassured. I will be going to this location when my dentist retires. The team here is fantastic and I’ve know the office manager Charlene for decades and such a lovely woman.

Went for my 1st visit, the place was very clean! Staff was really nice! And can’t be the smile plan option they have if don’t have dental insurance!

I am so happy with the amount of professionalism and care they showed my husband today. They got him in with less than 24 hours notice, he was treated so wonderfully by everyone here also. Dr. Chessman was amazing, he spoke to my husband, explaining everything, worked out what needed to be done, and put together a plan of action. I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know!!! The customer service & work that was done was exceptional. I really appreciated the experience from who checked me in to who checked me out. They are very thorough and get the job done very quickly. I really appreciated the way I was treated today and I’m extremely happy with the work done on my teeth. Thank you guys!

I called on a Saturday to the Reno office but they didn't have an opening but the lady said she could call the Sparks office and see if they have an opening if I could hold for a moment. I said yes and she came back on the line and told me they will fit me in between patients. I went to the Sparks office and they were very friendly and didn't seem put out that I made a last minute appointment.. I had to have a couple of front teeth pulled and then they told me the cost. I said I didn't have it since my husband is on disability and I am not working. They gave me a very affordable discount. I also told them I am very afraid of needles and they were very good about that. I didn't have much discomfort when they shot the stuff in me and if I did he stopped right away and tried again until it was all done.. Then the extraction I didn't feel a thing. I was so nervous but it turns out I really didn't need to be at all. I would defiantly recommend them.

I feel so blessed and grateful to have found Gentle Dental! Every staff member from Daniel to Larissa and EVERYONE is simply- AMAZING! The dentist is considerate and detail oriented. I want to thank Lola the office manager for making accommodations for me in such short notice and making me feel like family, I can't thank her enough. I also want to thank Sheryl the Hygienist for the excellent job she did with the cleaning, not once did I feel uncomfortable or in pain Sheryl is a pro. Also the rest of the staff is super friendly and wonderful to deal with. I will be recommending all of my family and friends to this superb office.
