What a great space! The vibe is super inviting and everyone in the shop made us feel like we belonged there right away. We worked specifically with Brenner to get one of my kids started with an acoustic guitar, and he made it such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend, and we will be returning for any of our guitar-related needs!

The Guitar Spot is well worth the trip. They have a great selection and just a cool, cozy shop. Love walking in there and they've made a lifetime customer out of me.

I came back after a month and the guys honored the offer they gave me the previous month. They didn't have to do that, it was just cool. I won't forget this purchase!

Awesome group of guys eager to help me find my forever guitar. Thanks to Brenner, Jordan, and Chad!

Reputable retailer. Fast responses to messages. Product as described. Quick shipping upon purchase. Great value. Very satisfied. I appreciate that they loosened the strings before shipping. This was my first purchase of a nice guitar sight unseen, so I'm happy things worked out so well.

Every time I have gone to this place I have had a great experience. Brenner takes the time to inform you on everything about guitars to guide you in your decision. Chad made me a fantastic deal on my dream guitar. Chad also cares about his business and makes every effort to satisfy you. Worth the trip to see these guys.

Drove down today to look at a Gretsch Honey Dipper resonator and decided to buy it. Chad gave me way more than I thought I’d get for my trade and even threw in a gig bag and some pick holders. I will definitely be back for more guitars!

I bought a Fender JV Modified '50s Telecaster Electric Guitar - White Blonde. It’s a fantastic sounding guitar. It was offered at an exceptional price. Better yet was the customer service. I spoke with Chad. (the owner) and he tweaked the set-up for me and got the guitar sent to me immediately. I’ll be back for more. This is a great shop. My experience was simply fantastic… Right on guys!

Without a doubt, one of my favorite places. Chad and everyone at the shop is genuinely interested in making sure you get what you came for and more. I have bought a few great instruments here. Even scored this sweet 1927 Gibson Mastertone.

Hands down the best guitar shop in the area! Great selection, honest pricing, and very friendly knowledgeable staff who take their time making sure your needs are met. I’ve been out of the guitar world for about a decade and just happened to walk by this place and pop in. Brenner took the time to explain electric guitars to me knowing I wasn’t ready to buy. However I ended up walking out with a beautiful Godin Summit Classic. That threw me back in the game and I’ve since been back for an amp and my first big acoustic purchase… a custom Martin. I love coming to this shop, always spend an hour or so there and feel confident buying from them. Chad and Brenner are just great dudes in general and awesome to chat guitars with.

Epiphone ES-175 in Wine Red (purchased 1.27.18 via Reverb)

For all my musical needs going forward, I'm checking with this shop first. Chad was very helpful and conversational. We had several discussions on the phone, and he was super patient with me as I asked both important and stupid questions. He dedicated a lot of time to working with me until I felt comfortable, not because he was eager to make a sale, but because he really really cares about the equipment he sells, the integrity of his shop, and about uplifting music as a whole.

6/5 stars.

Their salesman, Brenner, was awesome! My daughter is starting to play the guitar and he was willing to spend the time and explain and show us what would fit her needs. Even down to the fit of the guitar. It was a great experience!

Great place to get yerself a guitar!

I upgraded from my entry level acoustic about a year ago, and Brenner was super helpful in helping me find the right instrument for me. He was very thorough in showing me options within my price range, highlighting the features of each. I couldn't be happier with my purchase...

Flash forward a year, and of course I was ready to take the plunge and buy an electric. I thought I wanted a Gibson style guitar, and after playing a couple, Chad (the owner) nudged me towards a Gretsch in the corner... well, as they say, that was that. I did go to a big guitar store afterwards, just to try a few more guitars to make sure I wasn't missing out on something, but I they all paled in comparison. I quickly went back to purchase my Gretsch, and was happy get a simple gig bag to start, but also bought the hard case to better protect my new axe.

Sidestory... my brother bought an amp there and had a very similar experience... he also had a vintage amp that was in need of some TLC, and they were able to send that out and it now has its growl back.

All that to say, the folks at The Guitar Spot know their stuff, and want to help you find the right guitar for you, without pressuring you into something you don't want. Oh, and they are certainly competitive with pricing, so you are not paying more to support your local business. Check 'em out, you won't be disappointed!

I happen to be in the area and stopped in to the guitar spot on a whim.
I had some questions about a guitar that I've been looking at purchasing and the gentleman there spent at least an hour with me explaining a lot of different facets of guitars that I just had no knowledge or understanding of and helped me know more about my own guitar.

I can tell you that with all of my different drop-ins to different guitar stores and shops this one by far has proven to be the most knowledgeable or at least the most articulate of their knowledge concerning musical instruments and so I'll definitely be going back.

I moved to the area a couple years ago and have been to the Guitar Spot several times. The staff is always friendly and helpful when it comes to trying out gear. I’ve bought and sold gear here and it’s been a breeze; I just picked up a Gretsch that I ordered a while back and it was set up great when I picked it. I love having this place right down the street!

Had a great experience. I am a novice guitar player, and they made me feel very comfortable trying out different guitars without judging my guitar ability. I would definitely recommend them, especially over buying online.

Most impressive shop and great service. Chad and Brennan could not have been more helpful and professional. Bought a beautiful guitar from them and will be recommending them to my friends and family. Awesome inventory of new and used equipment in a friendly locally owned music store. Go check them out.

GREAT customer service, first rate service from start to finish, and even follow up on a recent purchase! I'll definitely be going back. Excited to see this store spread it's wings again once we are beyond supply chain issues, etc.

And the PHYSICAL STORE, very cool find off the beaten path. Such a cool set up re:the layout, teaching rooms, acoustic room, back room performance space, etc.
