Gyro is delicious. Bring your appetites-she doesn’t mess around when she loads the gyro. Made fresh and it makes all the difference. Fresh cut fries. I can’t get past the gyro with fries - so I haven’t tried anything else
The Lady - I forgot her name - but she owns and operates the place by herself- she is very friendly and does a fantastic job

Stopped in for a celebratory take-out meal, and so happy we pulled in.
Sophia took great care in welcoming a first time customer. The location is great, food is amazing, and the atmosphere is superb for dining-in or on the patio, too.
I can’t wait to return to try other Greek delicacies :)

UPDATE: Truly a 5 star for a gyros place! A hidden gem literally off the road in McMurray with plenty of additional food selections. Lots of parking, outdoor country style dining options with all sizes of tables. The best style Greek gyro and sauce you will find in the area all authentic from Greece. Large portions family friendly. Nice staff and courtesy service.

This was Definitely one of my favorite gyros I've ever had. They are definitely not shy with the meat and the baklava was very good the grape leaves were delicious also I forgot to ask for lemon for my grape leaves But definitely a little gem hidden off of the road must try 🙌🙏🥰💗❤

Love it here! Love the gyros love the spinach pie and my kid loves the chicken strips and fries ). I tried the oregano potato chips by the register and I am a huge fan of those as well. It’s kinda like a lays potato chip with a light oregano flavor- It works without being too much flavor.

Sophia makes a great gyro and other Greek specialties as well as great conversation! Highly recommend Parea for satisfying your hunger.

So happy they went back to their original concept! Just opened two or three weeks ago in their old location. They reconstituted what made them special!

The old flavors are back in the way they used to do their platters and sandwiches. They added a few new things like chicken fingers and fresh cut fries. Did not try the chicken, but since we like fresh cut fries..

The owner is still there, but she is passing the torch to her daughter. I wish yhem well, and will be back to supporting them via my patronage.

Best environment, I love the outdoor eating area and the decorations and statues they have around.
I used to come here with my family after biking the trail, now I go out of my way to drive here just to get some food. I just love everything about this place

Parea has the best Gyros in Pittsburgh!!! The meat is always tender and they are not stingy on filling the pitas to the brim! I definitely recommend them if you love gyros 😊

Beautiful little family-owned byob spot for excellent gyros that is located right on the Montour trail!

Tasty food with generous portions. The chicken gyro was very good and the french fries were very tasty.

They have their own parking lot. And they had a small bike rack as they are located right on the Montour Trail.

Was walking on the trail and saw this place. So happy i stopped in bc this was some of the best food

Delicious lamb and chicken gyro, and Greek fries. Stopped in today after a walk on the trail, and it was a perfect lunch!

My husband has brought me here twice with a span of at least a few months in between and both experiences have been amazing. The portions are plenty and the staff are very gracious! The grilled chicken gyro and Greek fries are my go-to and they have yet to disappoint. Thank you guys for the excellent food and service!

My kids and I checked this place out today. It’s a quaint spot with friendly employees that I thoroughly enjoyed. We each had a gyro and fries. My goodness were they amazing!!!! And huge! I can honestly say that it was the best I’ve had in over a decade! The meat was hot and juicy and flavorful and all of the toppings were SO fresh! The perfect finish was the Baklava cheesecake, it’s to die for.

Try this place out and you won’t be disappointed. Keep up the good work Parea! I will definitely be coming back and telling all my friends and family about my great dining experience today!

A great lunch place, we always stop by when we walk the trail. The food is always yummy and the people are always kind.

AWESOME.PLACE!! I ordered 3 Gyros and Fries...The Employee taking my order was EXTREMELY polite, friendly & attentive!! The Pita bread was VERY fresh the Gyro meat was VERY fresh, warm and not a bit dry whatsoever and the Fries were fresh cut fries- cant beat those! This place is locally owned by good local authentic Greek people..Support Local Restaurants..Especially this one...I can assure you that you wont be disappointed or think its less than a 4-5 Star Rating!!

I saw this place a few times, but didn’t really stop. Today I was hungry and stopped in and it was absolutely delicious. The girls working were super kind and professional. I met the owner and she is super nice as well. Food was a little pricey but definitely, in my opinion, worth it for how good the food is. Keep up the good work!
