Guntown Beer

It is much different than you see from the outside. The outdoor area is great! Good music, good service and comfortable environment. The food is surprisingly great , nice variety. Try it!

A nice local bar with food, drinks, and entertainment on certain nights. We ordered a pizza, buffalo chicken dip, and drinks. One thing to note, the bar didn't have any beers on tap - whether it was the time of night or an issue with their beer taps - I'm not sure. Other than that, they still had a great selection of bottled beer - which were priced very reasonably - from $3 to $5 per bottle. Check it out if you're in the area!

Great bar that has good bands all the time. Best place around to go in the summer out on the deck. Chris the owner is one hell of a good guy and has a great staff working for him.

Great atmosphere with a large beer selection. Beer selection is on tap and bottle. Nice outdoor patio for summer nights. If indoors, there are games to play as well. Plenty of food as well and you can't go wrong with any of it!

What a great place!! We ordered the bbq chicken and white flat bread pizzas, pizza pretzel logs, chef salad, and club sandwich. Everything was so tasty!! I ordered another bbq chicken flatbread pizza to go!! We will definitely be returning.

Definitely a bar, buy food was simple and good. Mainly sandwiches, but decent price and tasty. Wish there were more directions about finding your own seat or waiting to be seated... You just walk in and you're on your own to figure it out.

My go-to in Canonsburg for a great selection of takeout beer. Haven’t checked out the rest of the place but looks like fun!

Really great selection of bottles and cans, and surprisingly incredible deals on beers they are rotating out. Very appreciated that they let you pick your own six packs, as that's hard to find around here. I'm definitely going to be coming back

I'd like to respond to the previous 2 reviews. I was the bartender that was working on New Years Eve that these 2 reviews are directed at. I watched the 4 of you get dropped off and hang around in the parking lot for a few minutes, then 2 of you came in and used the bathroom then left again. Then when the 4 of you finally walked in, I watched you guys walk all the way down the bar, and my immediate thought was that I wasn't serving the girl at the back in the fluffy white coat because she'd had enough. When the first girl approached the bar I simply said "I can't serve the girl in the white coat, she's had enough already" and she said "oh,ok" and she turned around and told the other 3 what I said. A second girl then approached the bar and said "what's going on?" and I restated "I can't serve the girl in the white coat, she's had enough" which was responded with "well then, you're not getting any of our business" so I said "ok, goodnight". I was very busy and I was tending to other customers, then you wanted to reason with me and said "she's fine, she's standing". I apologize on any misunderstanding on why I wouldn't serve her, but the one and only reason I had was that she was very visibly intoxicated and I was looking out for her well-being. I have been working in the bar/restaurant management for over 20 years and anyone who knows me, knows I take my job very seriously. They'd also tell you that the accusations that are being implied about me couldn't be any further from the truth.

Best stage in town, saw buckwild perform and was not disappointed

Had one of the best burgers I've had in a while at lunch today. Nothing wild, just a great big classic burger. Nice inside, seems recently remodeled. I'll be going back.

Guntown has a beer selection that is nothing to shake a finger at, it's something that is wanted in major cities, but lost it for an immoral area. This place has a good atmosphere, great your hunt app, and break people to talk to. Definitely salt of the earth.

Guntown Beer is really two places in one, an amazing specialty beer store with a huge selection, and a recently remodeled bar with exceptional food. I eat here at least once a week, and highly recommend it. Great staff, great bar, and great food!

Great little hometown bar. Bar food is good (wings A+). Cool outdoor deck w/bands in spring/summer. Staff is good too.

Formerly known as Gabby's Pizza, this place has really undergone a Renaissance in its own right. They have a six pack shop attached to the main building where you can grab just about any beer you can imagine (so long as you don't take more than 24 out at any one time).

The main pub always has something good on tap as well, so keep an eye out for their awesome specials during games and matches. Wednesdays are especially cool as they give a free glass away with whichever beer is on special that night. I have expanded my collection indefinitely from Wednesday night special glasses with anything from Hop Nosh to Yuengling, their specials are pretty fantastic if you're a bit of a beer snob.

Lastly, they have some of the best bar food around the area. I've had other places like Mr. Bigs in Meadowlands, which is good in its own right, but I cannot compare them to Guntown. Their comfort food is just so flipping good. Their Italian hoagie is among my personal favorite along with the cheese sticks which can only be described as sublime. I'm not sure whether they're homemade, or if I only order them once I've had a couple, but hot damn I love them.
