Angelo's Restaurant

Ordered take out and I must say everything was freshly prepared just like it would if we ate in the restaurant. My favorite is the hot sausage sandwich and the kids love the rigatoni with meat sauce. Chicken Parmesan my old man had was very delicious to him as well

We really enjoy this place. This was our second time visiting and it’s excellent.

Had a great meal here last night and the staff was fantastic. Good portions, fantastic food, at a fair price for the high quality. The gelato was fantastic as well. Keep up the great work!

This is a classic Italian restaurant. Tastefully decorated, attentive staff, wonderful choices for lunch/dinner. They boast their Lasagna and with food reason; it was fantastic. We met old friends there and probably spent more time than we should have taking up a booth, but the staff didn't seem to mind.
Recommend for a good old home cooked meal feeling.

My mom passed recently and the venue where I had her wake was changed. I called Michael at Angelo's and within 4 hours he was able to prepare a beautiful homestyle dinner for my friends and family. The food was deliciously on point as usual, the service was above and beyond. I am forever grateful to him and his staff for making a terrible day into a beautiful event.♥

First time at Angelo’s restaurant-fantastic experience! 1/26/24 It was fate for sure, the other restaurant which was much closer had very limited reservation times left. It was our daughter’s birthday - we knew it had to be Italian. We wanted a particular time to eat. I made the reservations online earlier in the week but called the day before our dinner to ask some questions. We were taking our daughter and son-in-law out for a special evening! I wanted it to be perfect!❤From the call to the charismatic daytime hostess Carol, I knew this was the right place. Growing up with an Italian grandmother who was an amazing cook, we tend to be very picky. Everything was OUTSTANDING!! The food was absolutely very fresh and delicious! We sat at table 36 ( same number as the birthday girl) Our server Jenny was incredible!! She answered any questions, made suggestions and took care of all our dining needs. She was warm, friendly, extremely efficient and obviously, enjoyed her job! Jenny is truly exemplary in her role! The gelato bar is such a special treat. So yummy! We all agreed it was the best dining experience any of the four of us had in a long time! Cannot wait to return !! It WAS a perfect evening! Thank you Angelo’s!!🌟🌟🌟🌟👏👏👏👏💕

Oh my goodness where to begin! A colleague recommended Angelo’s in passive conversation and we knew we had to go. When a deep rooted Italian gentleman recommends “an authentic and delicious Italian restaurant” you get in the car and go!
We did make a reservation, as we understand the service industry is often stretched thin now. When we arrived we were immediately seated and met our waitress Beth.

She provided the specials of the evening, was attentive and kind, interacted well with our kids and overall provided the kind of service we so actively search for now.

I won’t regale our entire dining experience but it was absolutely superb. They may even have the best tiramisu and cheesecake ever! Plus, their gelato menu is what every kid dreams of!

This is more than restaurant, it was an experience. We were blown away by our exquisite meals and the unbelievably attentive service.

The food was 5/5, service 5/5, atmosphere 5/5, experience 5/5. We will absolutely be returning to have a wonderful family dinner at Angelo’s again!

The food was delicious. The staff was great and did a wonderful job. I was there for my sisters 21st birthday! It was chaos and they handled it wonderfully.

First time eating here. The food was delicious. We usually go to the Union Grille but wanted something different. Was not disappointed. Will eat here again.

Feb 2022 Update

Finally got a chance to come back post-COVID restrictions. The place was packed - including a wedding party using the back rooms - which was nice to see. The menu did not seem any different and still featured many of the dishes that we've enjoyed in the past. Specials were offered and we took advantage of two of them: A Branzino and the home made Buccatini pasta - both were delicious - as were the rest of the offerings. This place is great and you can really not go wrong with a visit here since the menu is so extensive and the prices are so reasonable.

A wonderful institution in this area that's been in operation for over 75 years. The food is wonderful, the service is always nice and professional, and the prices are quite reasonable.

Recipes are much more interesting than the normal Italian American fare and that's a good thing.

It's always a special occasion to go there, but in a good way.

Excellent service on a Monday night. I made a reservation but they couldn't find it. No problem. Also their app stopped working for over 5 days but they still honored my bd gift og 2 scoops of gelato. Pastas were homemade. Fresh, and piping hit. I had a chicken dish. All 4 meals are excellent!

A lovely dinner for two complimented by friendly wait staff and great food! I had a chicken parmigiana which begged to be eaten, every bite, along with some angel hair spaghetti. I ate the whole thing! Delicious. My better half had a meatball paninni which was also a home run. This is my fourth visit here.

Amazing food and service. Great range of Italian dishes. Highly recommend!

My husband had a surprise birthday party for me on October 17th at Angelo’s in their party room for 17 people. Our waiter, Jordan was excellent! He was very attentive, checked on us often, and provided everything we needed for a nice gathering! The food was wonderful, and everyone had a great time. Thank you Angelo’s and Jordan!

Had my wife’s 70th birthday party here. Everything was perfect! Dawn, the manger, reserved the party room and took the order for the cake. The server (Jordan) was excellent! The cake was decorated perfectly and the whole party was a great success.

The pasta Primavera was delicious; and the paninis are great! So much to chose from and everything looks delightful 😋 tiramisu melts in your mouth; and you can't go wrong with gelato!!

My review of Angelos is not about the restaurant itself, because I think they are great. I spoke with manager Dawn about one of her employees after an incident happened here today on Oct. 30th. After staying at Advance Surgical Hospital & staying in hotel rooms lately, I came to Angelos to order a GOOD takeout dinner. I was short on cash due hospital trips & stays at hotels & gas prices. We live far away & I wanted a good dinner so I walked into Angelos and ordered a piece of lasagna and a salad. It came to $22.00 & I paid cash for it. I had $30.00 cash on me. Another lady did same thing & paid cash as well. This waitress said to another waitress loudly: Two people order takeout and no tip. If you can't leave a tip when you order take out, just go to McDonald's. I was so upset & hurt by what she said. She don't know what we are going through & a comment like that was unwarranted & cruel. Next time, I will go to McDonald's because they DON'T expect a tip. I left her a $5.00 tip out of guilt, because apparently, the tip is more important than the service. Again, this is about ONE waitress & I don't judge all the other ones who works there, just her.

Love this place.
My wife and I usually travel an hour to here 1-2 times a year for a date night.
The tiramisu is our go to desserts. We usually get a different meal each time and we have never been disappointed.

I recently dined at Angelo's in Washington, PA, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home.

The service was impeccable - the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was top-notch.

And speaking of the menu, the food was simply outstanding. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection.

The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, creating the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Whether it's a romantic dinner for two or a gathering with friends and family, Angelo's offers the ideal environment.

I also must commend the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes. Each plate looked like a work of art, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

I can't wait to return to Angelo's in the future and explore more of their delectable offerings. If you're in Washington, PA, and looking for a fantastic dining experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Angelo's. You won't be disappointed!
