Washington Park

This town has clearly invested a lot into this park. I was just traveling through and was pleasantly surprised with my experience.

There's a large indoor sports plex, a seasonal pool, a large area for walking, a playground, three or four nice and huge pavilions with tons of seating, a fenced dog park, a nice baseball field, tennis courts, and probably much more.

The park is very pretty, although there are roads winding throughout the space. This makes it feel a bit disconnected. Still a really great community space.

Washington Park has a nice array of things to do.

When you enter, you will first come to the Washington Pool. It’s a big pool with 50-meter lanes for swim meets or other competitive events. Multiple diving boards are present. There’s a spiral water slide and a kiddie area.

Up the hill, you will find various stone pavilions and playground equipment. There is a stage area for local theater. Classes also take place at different pavilions following a schedule.

Frontier Park History Center is also with the park grounds. Included in this site is the well- known Washington Park Log Cabin. Completed construction includes the 50' x 50' stockade, blockhouse, one interior cabin, one exterior cabin, a half-faced camp and a blacksmiths shop. A very nice area to see with things always going on around.

Once you pass this areas, stop in at a baseball game at one of the many fields. Always lots to do here!

Great pool for our community. It was very clean and the life guards did a great job (saw a younger boy get small injury and they were quick and attentive!) Snack bar was reasonably priced! Thanks for opening back up!

Even though the roads are a frightful mess out there, it was the most beautiful sunset. I love going to the park but please fix the roads.

Love swimming here. Cost $6 for anyone to get in and they have a snack bar, although they've taken away many options. You won't starve but I no longer give any praise to the concession stand. Still makes for a good day of swimming and there's a slide too so yay.

Washington Park is a local treasure. Walking trails, pavilions for the community, tennis and pickleball courts, new dog park, and the home of the PONY League World Series.

Went to the ballfield it was well maintained to watch my grandson play

We attended the Pony League World Series here. Great baseball field and stands.

Enjoyed our time at the pool. It was clean. Staff was very friendly.

Watched the play off games, getting ready for the world series. Going to be an awesome time watching the best of the best play baseball. Good luck to all the young men participating in the 2022 world series.

My sister had her wedding here (6-25-22) at the Stone Pavilion and it was a very beautiful place, very clean, beyond spacious if I could give more than 5 ⭐'s I would

This is a great public pool. The entry fee is reasonable. They have a kiddie pool along with the large pool. The park itself is kept in good condition and has a great play ground.

Pool wasnt available but we went walking it was beautiful as the trail was clean and clear...passed other friendly walkers..bith on 2 legs and 4 lol great day thank u
