William Kain Park

excellent hiking, mt. biking, horse trails. Parked off the Water st parking area, hike a good 2+hr loop.
Some areas are temporarily closed due to the big Dam rebuild. And there's no water in the Lake.

Easy access to and from I-83. Looks like a very nice park with opportunities for hiking, biking, kayaking and much more. Plenty of parking spots, nice pavilions for rent. Was wondering why water level is low, then read that they’re doing repairs. We’ll be back to explore the trails.

This is a beautiful park with a lot of options to enjoy.
Wanna play? You have a beautiful playground.
Wanna enjoy the scenery? Visit the lake and also you can see around.
Wanna enjoy nature with exercise? There are different trails based on the difficulty level. You could walk or ride a bike.
Wanna do a boat ride? It's a very good place for a boat ride and also they have boat rentals. But make sure if it is open.

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery around the lake and we walked through one of the trails. It was good. In the trail there was a small tunnel. It was good to walk. The boat rental is currently closed.

The restrooms are well maintained. The trail is near the highway so we cannot avoid vehicle sound. The rest is good.

A nice park, whether you are their to play, or have a family or work event and choose to rent one of the several available pavilions. Boat ramp for everything from inflatables to bassboats. Just enjoy nature? Well there are quite a few trails for hiking and riding. Plenty of wildlife around. Bring the kids, bring the family, bring the camera..

Love it ,it's very peaceful. Have to be careful cause a year ago I had a incident with a creep his intentions were not good .Just be mindful of your surroundings.

This is a great little spot along I 83. It’s a great wander around the reservoir with lots of options for fishing, hiking and water sports. If you don’t have a lot of time, take a hike 3A - It’s only about a 20 minute walk to a clearing/picnic area and it’s a great view and distraction if you’re on a long drive. You can rent paddle boats and paddle bikes from the office lots of fun for the whole family.

Although 83 runs right along the lake, it is a beautiful lake nestled down into the hills and a nice place to enjoy nature.

Water was pretty low when we were there so difficult to fish as the fish were farther out in the water. My understanding is the shore is usually under water and the water is several feet higher.

There's a nice parking area right off water street with a boat launch, an area for fishing or family outings, public restrooms, and attached is the entrance to miles of trails.

I've only recently started exploring them, but so far I've found them to be dog friendly (on leash only) and varying levels of difficulty. I've noticed the trails here tend to be much less crowded then the rail trail a few miles away. It's also neat to be on the trail and have it be so quiet you feel like you're a million miles from anything. I've run into deer twice on the trail as well. I plan on this park being my go to place for hiking!

I love this park! It is quiet and a good place just to get away. There is natural beauty and plenty of places to explore.

Hiking. Sitting. Walking. Running-- all doable.

Beautiful place to visit and spend a quiet day by yourself or family. I spent 5 hours there by myself and enjoyed every minute.

A lot of photographic opportunities along the way and there! A very nice area for picnicing, kayak rentals, fishing... Large, maintained restrooms and parking. Looks very nice from my lense! I would go back with my family to spend the day 🙂

A nice walk, I bet it would be an enjoyable run if there were such a thing. Although it's drained for dam repairs, was still a cool sight.

Park is really big to explore with different trails. Beautiful scenery, has geo-cache, a dam and lots of nature.

Great place to hike, walk, walk your dog and bike...along the lake!

Wonderful parks all around the lake. No power boats so nice and quiet. Great selection of trails. There is a second lake Lake Redman connected to Lake Williams which gives lots of areas for fishing,hiking,canoeing,picnicing.
