Advanced Surgical Hospital

I highly recommend Advanced Orthopedic for PT. I had a left total knee replacement in Feb of 2023 and was treated at another outpatient facility following surgery. I began going back to the gym and ended up injuring my right knee and right hip. I was struggling to walk all over again. After seeing Dr Christiansen as a follow up appointment, I asked what I should do. He recommended that I see John, Director at Advanced Orthopedic Rehabilitation. After seeing him several times with many modifications in my treatment plan, I was finally able to start back to the gym using a personal trainer along with continuing PT. John and his entire staff have been nothing but kind, compassionate, encouraging, enthusiastic and supportive through my entire treatment which has taken several months. I can without a doubt say that this was the best decision I have made. I am finally able to walk without pain. I will continue to do the exercises daily that John recommended along with the lower body work out routine 3 x week. I truly cannot thank John, Glen, Mackenzie, Mandy and Alex enough for giving me my life back. If you are looking for PT, definitely choose Advanced Orthopedic Rehabilitation. You will not be sorry.

I got my meniscectomy today and couldn’t be more happy with how it went. All of the doctors & nurses were so nice & caring! The office/waiting room/bathrooms everything was very clean. I would definitely recommend going to advanced surgical hospital over a ‘regular’ hospital anyday.

Great staff, very professional and friendly. Spent 10 weeks rehabbing a knee replacement. Would not have had the great results without their help and encouragement. Kudos to Jamie Johnson.

The staff was exceptional. They were both knowledgeable and supportive. Many places have equipment but it's the people that make the difference. Made the recovery easier to do.

I was slightly concerned about having surgery at such a small facility in Washington, PA. My insurance would not cover surgery in a larger hospital in Pittsburgh where I had my other arm repaired two years ago. My concern was misplaced.

Everyone here was very caring and professional. They are genuinely concerned with your comfort! All of the staff got along very well together and I couldn't help but notice how the doctors offered encouraging words and noticed the nurses hard work. The operating room was large, clean, and very modern. The accommodations in the waiting room are very comfortable.

Dr Schmidt is a nationally recognized surgeon in distal biceps repair. He uses this hospital for surgical procedures. He is an incredibly talented surgeon. He repaired a complete rupture on my right arm two years ago and it has healed to near 100% in range of motion and strength. So naturally, when I ruptured my other one there was nobody else I would trust besides him. I was even prepared to pay for the surgery out of pocket if need be. If you worry about this surgical hospital, do not fear. They are very professional and just as good as any larger hospital in the region. You can trust them to handle everything with a lot of care and professionalism!

I would like to thank all the staff and physicians that treated me for surgical repair of my shoulder. They could have not have been nicer or more professional. I would highly recommend using this facility for any medical treatment that they provide.

I adore all of the occupational therapists. They get you started on your therapy immediately and always keep me entertained while I sit there.

Dr Stracci and Advanced Surgical Hospital staff have meet all of my needs, and have exceeded them. This is my second knee replacement here, there is not enough praise I can give Dr Stracci and his staff. Thank you for a great stay.

Hospital stay and PT were fantastic!

Dr. Christiansen is the very best. Every time I'm in the Office to see him he takes all the time needed to explain every detail of the procedure you are going to receive. He performed rotator cuff surgery on me and he also performed a total knee replacement on my wife. Neither of us ever had any issues and he did a fantastic job. In my opinion he is the very best in his field and is an outstanding surgeon.

Full team of professional staff that specialize in a surgical setting and advanced care doing a wonderful job for some really talented doctors . Thank You so much even your register had a great personality 😉 You all did a wonderful job!

Rude staff, just rude and unsympathetic. Save yourself the frustration and go to a real hospital that understands bedside manner and how to treat patients and their family members.
