Farmhouse Kitchen & Bakery

We stopped enroute to Virginia for a late breakfast. I have to agree with the other reviews: comfy little whole in the wall place with great food & good prices. My home fries and bacon were cooked to perfection!

I stopped in because the reviews were good and now I’m a big fan. Love the atmosphere and the people who work here and the food was good too. More menu items than I expected and a lot of variety in the specials. Anybody from our company who is town will be stopping at the Farmhouse Kitchen!

The service and food were wonderful. We had a cheeseburger with fries and Philly steak and fries. The burger was fresh with a perfect bun. Will definitely be back, soon!!

We had a great couples dinner here on Valentine's Day. It was a 4 course meal and each course was exceptional! Will be returning.

Just finished lunch with my friend and had a wonderful experience! Had the pleasure of speaking with the owners who were so sweet. Can't wait to come back!

Really nice environment, friendly service, and good good. I appreciated the decor and the Bible verses on the wall. Their chicken was good quality, but could have been more flavorful. Their many breakfasts look good and I'll have to try them next time. The portions of food are large.

What a Great find this sweet café is! Menu is not huge, just right but the food is excellent! Whenever you see a special written on a chalkboard you really have to get it, that’s what my husband and son did and got the last 2 Kitchen Sinks. Beautiful to look at & even better to eat. And their CURLY FRIES, hard to find the words to describe the best price I think I’ve ever had. So glad we stopped!

The food is delicious, the staff & owners are amazing. Instantly feel comfortable & welcomed when you walk in. We travel for my husband's job & love finding local diners. Specials on the board are always creative & yummy. Breakfast tacos with a side of from scratch white sausage gravy 🤤😋

Stopped here for breakfast, was excellent and servers were great! Definitely recommend this small business!

Stopped in for lunch , had the cheese burger and fries. The meal was very good and price was fair. Service was also speedy!!

Farmhouse has really turned it up a notch for breakfast! French toast was fabulous, sausage gravy was good, and the thick-cut bacon was some of the best I've had in a long time! A real gem of a diner in Claysville!

Nice place. The service was good and so was the food. They worked with my wife's allergy that is kinda hard to find in little places like this. I am glad we stopped at a local place and not a chain.

There are 9 of us ( brothers and sister) that go to a different breakfast spot each Sunday. Finally made it to the Farmhouse Kitchen and Bakery. Our waitress was fantastic! All the food was excellent, came out hot and delicious. This will definitely be on the Sunday return too list.

I had googled for food
along I-70 west on my way to Columbus, and the Farmhouse popped up. It was a quick and easy on/off the interstate.
I was shocked at how quickly my order was ready. I got the Philly cheesesteak. It was hot and delicious, though I must say a little messy to eat while you’re driving ;0. But it was so good, I had a hard time resisting. I chose waffle fries, which had some type of mildly spicy batter coating on them.
Stopping here was definitely, definitely better than stopping at any fast food along the
I – 70 corridor. And I always like to give business to small, family owned businesses. They did not have too many items in their bakery case that morning, so I cannot comment on their bakery items, but the roll for the Philly cheesesteak was definitely freshly home-baked and delicious!! This will be my new stop along the route, both to/from !! Thank you

We stopped in last Sunday. First time there. Food was wonderful. The waitress was sweet and helpful with suggestions. My husband had breakfast
and I had chicken tenders. Everything was delicious. Of course, some baked goods from the case made their way home. We will definitely be back!!🤗

Chocolate peanut butter cake with buttercream frosting was amazing! Fed 18 people!

We love it here. It's a smaller menu, but everything on it is so good. Their baked goods are to die for. Everyone needs to give them a try. You will go back!!!!

Great food and PLENTY of it! The spaghetti and meatballs fed me for 2 days!

I try to support locally owned businesses. We were passing through the area, found the Farmhouse Kitchen online and gave it a shot. The Farmhouse Kitchen is a gem. Food was homemade, portion plentiful, very cheap, restaurant was clean and staff was inviting and friendly. If we lived closer, this would be a daily visit for us but will definitely be back. If your in the area......if you don't stop at the Farmhouse, your only cheating yourself.
