The BEST Gyro we have ever tasted. This place is Amazing. I have had Gyro’s at all the popular places in South Side and throughout the state and NOTHING comes close to the quality, quantity, and price then The Gyro Place.

I can’t believe people complain. The food portions and sauces blow the competition out of the water.

Was served by the owner, very kind, conversational and was unfortunately out of rice. So he compromised and gave me a massive plate of fries. A cheesy example of putting the customer first. Incredible food and incredible service, no wonder why they’ve been around for so long! Thank you

Delicious, absolutley HUGE gyro!! Portion size for the price makes this a great value as well as a very tasty choice. And you must try whatever the fresh baked cake/pastry is!! I enjoyed the lemoncello cake!!

Huge delicious gyro! It was enough for two people. Good lemon rice soup. Fries were nice and hot. Friendly service. We will be back!

If you like Gyros, especially real Greek gyros, this is the place. A plate full of food and plenty to take home. Come hungry. All kind of home cooked menus items. The owner works here and serves you. A local place like this is always the best!

We went for the first time and ordered takeout. My husband wanted to try the Super Gyro. The person asked if he was sure, and he said yes and got two.

We got them home, and it was, at least, a pound of meat on one pita. It had generous toppings and was delicious. I ate it over four days. I'd buy it again if I had 4-6 pitas on hand to divide the meat across. It's too ambitious for one lonely pita.

Service was great, and we'll return.

Small restaurant atmosphere with overall very good food. Limited menu but it is worth the stop!

This is exactly where you want your gyro from. Staff is friendly and portion sizes are perfect! The lamb is exquisitely tender and perfectly cooked. The tzaziki is REAL, and the atmosphere is too. Easily some of Canonsburg's finest.

Can't wait to go again!!

The absolute best Greek food you will find. Awesome portions and Peter is a good guy. Check out his music Sinister Army! We had a Gyro Salad today with lamb and it was incredible as always!

Love this place! The owner is super friendly. The gyros and grape leaves are fantastic! When my grandmother was on hospice in Pittsburgh we ordered pickup from here and got stuck in traffic on 79 for over an hour. When we called to tell him we would be late to pickup our food he said that he would stay open late if he had to to make sure we got our food. We got there before he closed but that just really made us feel like he cares about his customers.

The owner is very hands on with his whole business food prep to serving the food . Always greats you when you come threw his door. Great food great place to dine.

Food tasted great, service was quick. Had the hummus and small gyro salad. Highly recommend.
