Shilling Hill Farm

While driving through the backroads near Pittsburgh, we ended up in Westland on County Road 519, where we found a farm stand. We grabbed a couple of sandwiches and some cookies. The stand offers several options of sandwiches, pies, cookies, and ice cream. We had the Patsy (Pastrami) and Italian sandwiches. There was no skimping on the portions of meat in the sandwiches. The cookies were delicious. We sat under some very large oak trees for some shade. It was a fun country drive, a very relaxing stop and an enjoyable lunch.

As I sit here for the second day in a row eating my hoagie, I must say this is the BEST most fresh food I've ever had in my life.

Ive drove past this place for years always wanting to try it. I'm so glad I did!
I'll be back tomorrow and I'm bringing my daughter here.

Like this food is phenomenal, I'm surprised I've never heard of it besides driving by.

I have recommended my whole family to come here! It is a cute set up on the outside and professional on the inside. Along with amazing food/desserts the people running it are always a pleasure to deal with. If you are in the area I recommend this this peaceful and fun place!

The best pastrami, brisket, and bacon I have ever had (topped Carnegie Deli). Huge sandwiches. Fresh. And awesome, friendly service. The Dutch apple pie is amazing also!
If you are on 519 heading out of Houston to Hickory or vice versa, make the stop there! You won't regret it.

This was my first time here. I had gotten a cherry crumb pie and it was amazing. I will definitely be going back there very soon. They also make other things than pies like sandwiches etc. Definitely a good place to stop. I've only tried the pie but I can't wait to try other things.

First time visitor. Everything was great, can't wait to return for a peach pie.

The club sandwich was amazing with fresh ham and turkey and two slices of Fresh Off The Griddle bacon and was enough for a second meal.

The potato salad was worthy of a return visit.

But the pie - oh my - the pie was worth the drive. I have had the Cherry crumble and blueberry crumble and the Peach crumble that I bought for my friends didn't last the evening at their house. You got to have this pie!

Excellent food! Brisket sandwich is great and all of the desserts have been great so far! Everything is fresh and homemade! Service is very friendly as well! Great place to stop for lunch or to grab a pie or cookies for later.

The food is amazing, very good quality. The lady who runs it is very friendly and sweet. The pies are to die for! Blueberry crumble is the best! Everything else on the menu is delicious as well.

Excellent food and friendly staff! I'm from Cleveland, Ohio and I stop for the great food whenever I'm traveling to Washington, PA. Don't let the small building fool you, it is very clean and you can't beat the great food!

Amazing. Brisket was great, not dry at all. Thick piece of smoked gouda, good bread, and even the cookies were really good. The lady there was so nice, and it's on a farm...just take my money! If you're debating about where you are going to eat, just stop... and come here.

My co-worker picked up a pie for me in his work truck on his way back. It was absolutely delicious. I even ate it cold because I couldn't wait long enough to go home to heat it. The person who left you a 1 star review is a cry baby. Thank you for the delicious pie.

Cutest "little" place with great big flavors. They have awesome desserts and out of this world sandwiches and sides! Who doesn't love smoked brisket and dutch apple pie?!
