Wai Wai Buffet & Grill

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. I was in Canonsburg looking at a new motorcycle down the road, and decided to look for somewhere to eat before heading back to Pgh. I was in the mood for Chinese and was delighted to learn a buffet was in town. I had a wonderful experience. Everything here is absolutely delicious, and I have been to many buffets so I am somewhat critical. This one gets a solid 5 stars from me. Going to be coming here all the time now. Cheers

The food, the service and atmosphere were wonderful.

Very peaceful environment, very polite staff, honestly this place just made me feel good.

Delicius food, seafood, sushi, wonton soup, te, is not that big bit delicius food tiny place and great food. Love it.

Love this place. The food is really good, the food options might be smaller than you're used to in a buffet, but every single item is worth the trip. The staff is incredibly friendly and the prices are so affordable. Plenty of parking on the front and side of the strip mall. I would absolutely recommend people visiting this place and having some of their Coconut shrimp!

Food is always great (good flavoring & yummy) Luna always makes sure everything is hot and fresh, her staff is respectful and prompt and she is ever so kind to our children.

Small place but decent selection for the price. The waiter kept up w taking plates and refilling drinks.

I came in at 10min until close and they let me in to grab a meal and sit down. The cook even brought out some fresh rice. The woman who served me was so happy and bubbly, in a good way. It was refreshing to have in a person. The food was good and the service was amazing. Highly recommend!

Best Chinese Buffet in Pittsburgh! Family owned, dishes are made fresh in small batches, very reasonably priced, sushi is great, and happy staff! I’ve ate here multiple times without any issues in regards to food temps, getting sick, no chewy food, etc. I’m very confused at some previous negative comments, because my friends and I have never had any issues. We live closer to other buffets, but drive to this business because of the quality of dishes and service that’s provided. Every time I’ve ate at the buffet, there are typically a few families or individuals eating at a time with multiple to-go orders going out the door. If they are out of a dish, you can bring it to their attention and they will make it right away. Since there’s mixed opinions for this business, I would recommend trying it for yourself and leaving the next review.

We came at a weird time between lunch and dinner so there was not many customers but all the food tasted very fresh and was all really good. Would definitely come back!

All reviews from one year ago and back are from the previous owners, a new family has taken over and are doing a far more excellent job than the last. I've been here with both owners, and my most recent experience was much better than the last, the inside looks stunning compared to my last time here. Although the selection is moderate, the General Tso is to die for, honestly. It's a Chinese-American buffet, with very attentive staff who are extremely nice. Overall, a good place to eat dinner, will come here again!

Dont understand all these bad reviews. We have eaten there several times for lunch and the food has been really good. Selections are very good also. Cant beat the $6.95 lunch special.

I like the fact that their food is good, the marked the "hot" foods, hot, so I didn't have to guess. Buffet is over three tables. Desserts are of a variety. Salads looked fresh and crisp even at 8pm. They had a variety of beef, chicken, shrimp, veggie dishes. Also, had take out menus and delivery service available. Great for the whole family.

I have a hard time believing some of these bad reviews. I’ve eaten here several times and the food is great, price is very reasonable, and waitress is very nice. Great little spot in Canonsburg

Listen to me! I have been going to this restaurant since 2005! They opened in like 2002 and have stayed open since. I don't know why some people believe they are Gordon Ramsay, when they are flat out wrong!!!! Wai Wai has good quality food for such a low price! That is why their restaurant has been open for approximately 14 years. I always get their lo mein noodles, fried and white rice, salad, WON TON SOUP, chicken and beef & grilled vegetables. They also have interesting deserts! Their buffet is truly amazing and their food is always hot and quality made! I have just been telling everybody who isn't familiar with it, because Wai Wai is such an amazing restaurant. Any time I am in the mood for Chinese I go there, just like I have been for 10 years! Do not ever listen to the bad reviews because they are flat out wrong. Wai Wai is the best Chinese restaurant ever! The interior design is very nice and almost fancy. I have been on many dates there. I love it so much. I talk to the manager all the time and she is a very nice lady. Please do not be fooled by these false reviews. The restaurant is fantastic, the interior design is extremely nice, the place almost looks a bit formal, the food tastes amazing, I hope their business thrives! If you want amazing Chinese food, in a really really REALLY nice setting for such a low cost, Wai Wai is the best there is!

I absolutely love Chinese food, and believe me, I've been to plenty of restaurants in multiple states. My boyfriend and I come here often and it's an amazing experience each and every time. Delicious food and wonderful selection.
