ERB Physical Therapy

Suffering from an injury that requires physical therapy is not an easy task to go through, but the staff at ERB Physical therapy helped me tremendously in both regaining my strength and regaining my confidence in my knee. I suffered from a torn ACL that required surgery to repair and started with physical therapy a little less than 2 months after my operation. With every week that passed, Dr. Paul McGowan addressed any issues I was having and provided me with a detailed routine of exercises to do both in and out of the office. He scaled them properly and coached me along every step of the way so that the exercises were done safely and with consideration to my healing knee. At no point did I feel pressured or feel as though the exercises were beyond my abilities and that speaks to the understanding and knowledge Paul has for rehabilitation of joints and ligaments.

Every time I stepped foot into the office I was greeted happily by Lori and Paul and I always felt welcomed. The pleasant discourse throughout my sessions allowed me to feel positively about myself and my abilities. They were always accomodating to my schedule and provided me with several options for times and days of the week and allowed me to pick which worked for me.

Every single part of my experience with the Canonsburg ERB Physical Therapy office was an absolute delight and I cannot recommend them enough for physical therapy. I am 6 months out from my surgery date and I have all the motions and abilities back in my knee which had an allograft for the ACL repair. Thank you so much to Dr. Paul McGowan and the staff at ERB Physical Therapy for everything you have done for me!

The staff at the Canonsburg office was very friendly and helpful. The therapists were knowledgeable and developed a routine of exercises that addressed the pain that I was experiencing. They provided helpful hints on ways to do the exercises so that they would provide the maximum benefit. I think that some of the exercises were developed or modified just for my particular condition. Also, the therapists try to devote their full attention to one patient at a time.

Years ago I went to a different physical therapy facility for the same problem in my other shoulder. Their exercise routine was not as productive and they did not provide the same level of expert guidance.

The ERB in Canonsburg is clean and comfortable and the staff is very welcoming. I had a total knee replacement and they have helped me tremendously. Paul is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how I need to exercise and why. You get one on one treatment from start to finish. I would recommend ERB to anyone needing PT.

Dr. Paul and staff were friendly. He helped me develop a plan to help me control my back pain, and answered all the questions I had. The one on one time really made me feel like a priority rather than just another number. I was able to complete my therapy in half the estimated time and can now do a full day of physically demanding work without pain. I would definitely recommend this office to others!

I’m mid-way through my PT plan and am well on my way to walking without crutches! The whole team (McKenzie, Jeannetta and Dr. Paul McGowan), have been personable, extremely easy and comfortable to work with. They all work together to get their patients on the fast track to recovery. They do a great job of explaining their processes with me. They accommodate my work schedule and I appreciate the later hours and convenient location. I highly recommend ERB Physical Therapy.

Paul has helped me recover from a serious fractured shoulder requiring a reverse replacement in 2018. Recently he worked with me after a TKR. He is kind and helped me thru the process of recovery. Mackenzie was helpful and accommodating. I will be having my second knee done and will return to them. Obviously I highly recommend them for your physical therapy needs.

It is now 2022 and I have had my second TKR. I am back at ERB
in Canonsburg working with Paul for the third time. This time has been more challenging for me. I appreciate that Paul has been supportive and patient with me helping me with this recovery. Each time (3) I find the office staff to be friendly and helpful, too.
I am so thankful for all of them.

The entire staff (Paul, Mackenzie, and Jeanneta) were all very welcoming, personable, and accommodating. To say the least, I have a very busy schedule. ERB Therapy was a very convenient location and worked around times best for me. I will personally miss the relations I have made with all of their employers. I can confidently recommend ERB therapy to any of my friends and even my family, such as my mom who starts next week!

Dr. Paul McGowan took the time to listen and prepare a plan for me so that I can physically return to maximum performance. I appreciate his time and care. The exercises are benefitting me and I have noticed continual progress. McKenzie is also great!

Paul has been great so far... friendly, professional and explains everything that he is doing. They check in on your progress via text and are sccomadating with appointment times. I would definitely recommend to others seeking physical therapy.

I honestly can't recommend this place enough. Incredibly friendly and relaxed environment. Unlike some of the larger physical therapy centers, you'll always be one on one with Paul, the therapist here. I've been struggling with my siatic nerve for about 9 months now, and this is the first time I really felt like the problem was being taken seriously. This is also the first time I can say that the issue is improving, rather than getting worse. He really takes the time to understand what works for you specifically and tailor each visit accordingly, rather than go down a list of X steps for everyone with Y issue.

In case it wasn't obvious, I have nothing but great things to say about this place. If you need physical therapy for any reason, you need look no further.

ERB is courteous, efficient and very effective.
Their hours are convenient. They work hard to make sure that you get the best therapy.
