Wow, that was some good southern food. I loved the chicken and nashville hot beef. Mac was to die for. Owner is the nicest guy you’ll meet. GET THE NACHOS ~ homemade tortilla chips. 😋

Bruno, the owner, explained the whole menu to us in detail, and even told us exactly how he cooks it when we asked. Amazingly delicious BBQ, made by people that truly care about how it tastes. Hidden gem, a must eat in this area!

Went for the first time today and already know we'll be going back again. Totally awesome. Had a rack of ribs, some brisket, Mac and cheese, and beans. Loved it all! Beans had meat and a little kick, almost a child:-)
As I said we will be back! And SOON, there's tons of stuff on the menu we want to try.

Being from “Down South” I am Happy to say with the 1st bite….IT’S REAL!!! Down south food 😋 travelled an hour just to try it…was so happy we did❤ Our meal was $37 and well worth it! Food in the pic fed both my husband and I, with left overs. Excellent Food!

Amazing food! Come for great comfort food and for southern twists on traditional favorites. Probably the only place in Washington to get many of the items they offer in the styles they use. We've also used them for catering for work parties, lots of food for a great price. awesome variety of soda's from around the country. They're always adding new menu items.

I ordered lunch for my coworkers and everyone loved their meals! We had Pork handheld, yardbird sandwich, Washington Cheesesteak, Big Nate, potato salad and slaw. Everything was delicious! Unfortunately their fryer wasn’t working, but who needs fries when you have a delicious Big Nate. You should give this place a try; it’s delicious-sincerely girl from Alabama

My family & I went to Southern Yanks Smokehouse today and we were very impressed with not only the food but the service! Bruno was awesome! He came out, greeted us and went above and beyond to make our experience amazing! He is very passionate about his work. The food was absolutely delicious. Very tasty & flavorful. We will definitely be back and plan to bring our extended family so they can try it!

Visiting form out of town and found this gem of a BBQ joint. I had the brisket, Mac ‘n’ Cheese, Potato Salad and tried the pork rinds. All were delicious, far better than what I expected. This has to be the best BBQ in the Pittsburgh area. Also, the Sweet Caroline sauce is fantastic! I know where I’ll be eating next time I’m close. The staff were super friendly also.

This place is PHENOMENAL! We were recommended this place while we were waiting for our car to be done at Mr Tire. I am not a big BBQ person but I actually enjoyed the BBQ sauce they have here. From the moment we walked in, Bruno was so friendly and welcoming. The food is tender and juicy. I would definitely recommend.

Very good. The owner takes pride in his work as well as the employees. Great to know there are still people that take the time and care.

Really enjoyed my food here today. Veteran owned, the owner and staff are great people and explained the menu thoroughly. More importantly, the owner really cares about his food. A couple of the menu items I had never had before and was given samples I liked so much I ended up buying both meats and taking a third sandwich to go for later. I also appreciated the great selection of glass bottle soft drinks which go great with some good BBQ. I am not from around here but visit family in Washington a few times a year and was surprised this place has been here for four years and I never knew of it. It is SO MUCH BETTER than that other place down the road and I will be making this one of my first stops for food every time I visit from now on.

Stopped here on a road trip headed West and I can honestly say this is some of the best BBQ I've had anywhere. Been to Tennessee and the Carolinas for BBQ and this is up there with the best of them! Owner was extremely friendly and took the time to break down the whole menu. The brisket and Southerner were incredible! Also highly recommend their sauces!!

We had a small birthday party. Just after closing. They made a little extra for us, and we basically cleaned out the days' worth of food that was in the kitchen. The little time that the place exists, there's a lot of history behind the place. They serve mostly the lunchtime crowd or until all the food is gone.

Went here for the first time today. The owner puts a lot of pride in his meat and sauces. The food was delicious. Never had potato salad like his before, and it was good! The different sauces were so good, but the meat was good without the sauce! I would definitely come here again!

Outstanding. It was worth the hour and a half drive. Brisket was good enough to get a to go order. Service was also outstanding. It makes you feel at home. Friendly informative, the cook even came out front to chat with me. A little amazing secret

Can't say enough good things about this wonderful restaurant, with a kind, passionate owner who does truly excellent BBQ. It was our first time in, so we were given a "tour of the menu," consisting of bites of a few of their specialties. I came in planning on pork, but the beef was so good that I had to get that too. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and delicious.

Strongly recommend!

My only regret is that it's far from the Washington I live in!

We stopped by just to check out the menu and, after a sampling, stayed for lunch. Bruno was great at explaining how the meats were seasoned and prepared! Everything was phenomenal... so tender, so juicy, so flavorful! The sides were delicious as well and they had a great selection of some lesser known but great tasting sodas to accompany the meal. Keep those pork rinds hot as well, we can't wait to go back!!

Outstanding experience! From the food (most important), atmosphere, and the owner. Owner was very personable. Me and a co-worker stopped in by luck, good luch that is. We had an idea of what we wanted, but the owner wanted to open us up to other options. We had the time so he began explaining some of the cooking processes, different ingredients, next thing I know I'm eating a meal that I didn't plan on....I don't think I could've gone wrong though! Tri tip was tender and cooked perfectly, pork rinds had and amazing and not too salty seasoning, but a good hard crunch, the Cowboy tater salad...WOW, this was outstanding! Do yourself a favor and stop in and see Bruno and enjoy some great food!

Excellent establishment. Very kind. Gave out samples of the meats and other free goodies.

We wanted a good lunch passing through Washington and decided to try this BBQ - we sure made the right choice! The tri-tips were phenomenal and we ended up bringing a rack of ribs to share with our son in Baltimore! -the owner and staff were delightful to visit with!
