Front Porch Tea Room and Gathering Place

We greatly enjoyed our experience at The Front Porch Tea Room. The food was creative and delicious. The menu is built around a monthly theme. This month is a beach theme as we prepare to close out the summer. We enjoyed the variety of tea flavors they offered but wish they would bring more than one pot for the table. We had a party of 8 and were fortunate enough to get 2 pots at a time but they were quickly emptied. Each pot filled our cups once. Eventhough we ordered our next pots when one was delivered they were not made until our pots were empty. My only recommendation for them would be to get a few more pots of various sizes so they can accommodate more flavor choices and/or back up pots for refills.

We had a great event with my Central PA foodies group this weekend. We loved the place, the Tea and every single course! Our Host steph was phenomenal and Michelle the owner kept checking on us frequently and made sure we are having the full High Tea experience. Amazing experience and we would love to come back.

Michelle is a phenomenal host! Not only was the variety of tea fantastic, but the food was so fresh and so delicious. All the dishes had some ingredients from their garden. Every course was beautiful and left me so full but wanting to eat more. Michelle was so sweet and a great conversationalist. She told us about her family and made us really feel like we were a part of it. I highly recommend this beautiful Tea Room. We will definitely be back!

This is a warm and welcoming place to have a tea with friends and family. Reservations required. My daughter and I love meeting friends here. Delicious scones and soups and an amazing tea selection.

A first class High Tea experience. Great serving staff. Great tea & food. Excellent place setting all set up when we got there.

We had a lovely evening sitting on the patio. The yard and garden is so peaceful. It is a beautiful setting.

My Mom, Sister, and I like to try different tea shops, and this was a winner. We liked the variety of food, and each month is different, so it has our wanting to come back to try more. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was very charming.

My friend and I had a tea lunch on Saturday. The food was delicious. Lavender and taco scones. Then a salad with walnuts and mandarin oranges. The sandwiches were delightful with edible pansies. I think my favorite was the cold strawberry soup. A lovely lavender infused desert topped it all off. Definitely a place to visit.

I would give more than 5 stars if there was an option. I have been to several tea rooms, but this one far surpassed all - from the food, the customer service, and beyond. Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's 21st bday with her, her aunt's, and her grandma, and of course myself. They made her feel so special by brining out her slice of cake with a candle and singing happy birthday. The food and tea was phenomenal. The chef has great talent, all the way down to the seasonal salad, I need to get their dressing recipe - delish!!! The customer service was out of this world. Our server wore a sparkly green dress which went perfectly with the March St Patty's theme - she was funny and had so much energy, just loved her. We will definitely be back! A++++++. Fabulous food , tea and staff. An exceptional experience that I want to repeat. First time visiting in 4 years and first ever under this new management. Had a delightful time , did not feel rushed in any way - the Christmas High Tea was well paced with our tea pot being constantly replenished. Lovely arugula and orange starter salad with yummy poppy seed dressing. Pumpkin soup was luscious and a generous portion. Savory ( goat cheese and fig ) and sweet ( gingerbread with cranberry ) scones were a hit with clotted cream and a fruit butter. The mini sandwich course was also good - turkey meatball , cucumber on rye and a cheese puff. Ended the meal with a large slice of chocolate chambord layer cake with white chocolate cream icing - fantastic ! Snowflake tea and Cranberry Glow were the perfect accompaniment to the meal. We couldn't have had a nicer time !

Such an amazing place!!! You can get different tea with each course that comes out. All teas from the fruity to sweet were amazing. The food was delicious as well. Victorian style house with one bathroom upstairs. Little shop across from bathroom. Products and tea for sale. Would not recommend if you are vegan. Vegetarians are ok for the most part. Wonderful experience!

My boyfriend and I love tea and the blends they have taste amazing! I had Tea with my Grandma there as well, beautiful place, with wonderful service, yummy tea, and overall a lovely experience to share with a loved one. Wonderful place to make memories. ❤

Soo adorable. Had Septembre menu with a group of girlfriends and had the best time. Everything was delicious.

Wow this place exceeded our expectations. Stephanie our server was amazing! The owner stopped by our table and was really welcoming and pleasant. Atmosphere, tea, and food all wonderful. My mom and I had such a nice time. I highly recommend!

WHAT a lovely place. Cute lawn with flower beds that have teacups, saucers, teapots, little figurines etc. The inside is lovely with hand painted pictures on the walls. Lovely dishes on the tables. Food was very good. We started with a salad that was so delicious. Nice selections of teas to chose from. So sad as it is for sale because of the owners retiring. I sure hope someone buys it and keeps it a tearoom.

Oh my, just attended a baby shower at the Front Porch and it was an absolutely beautiful time. The atmosphere was so sweet. The tea was delicious and so many flavors to try. All 5 courses of the meal were so tasty. It was the first time visiting the front porch but will definitely not be the last.
