I stopped in today to look for a specific model of a hard to find caliber hunting rifle. I was helped by Jim and he was very personable and helpful from the start. He did some initial research on the computer and didn’t come up with anything, so he took my name & phone number and said he would look into it some more, then get back to me. I honestly didn’t expect to hear back from him for at least a couple of days, but he called me just a couple hours later and told me the gun I was looking for hasn’t been released just yet. He explained everything he did after I left the store and I could tell he did his best before calling. I’m very appreciative of his time and effort today.

Huge selection, lots of good old stock which is what my husband loves. I saw a lot of accessories, including carry purses, in there, too. I can see why they're number 1.

Due to lack of time, I stopped in for some quick service and help switching out a scope on one of my rifles that I knew I would need to change out mounting components as well. After calling and seeing when the best time to do that was, I stopped in during the times they told me to. To no surprise, they helped me and quickly got what I needed, R & R'd my scopes using what was required, performed bore sighting to get me on paper, did not try to over sell, and provided prompt, professional and courteous service! Everything I expected from Ace! Thanks guys. Much appreciated!!

12 years ago a very troubled man walked into this store attempting to purchase a firearm to kill himself. Today he is grateful to the anonymous clerk who refused the sale, for his good judgment. He saved my life that day.

This store ALWAYS has what you need for your shooting activities. Very large selection of guns and supplies. The employees are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and always kind and friendly. Highly recommend you make the trip to Washington,Pa. you will not be disappointed!!

Ace is one of the OG gun stores in the Washington area. Been there since I was a kid, they can get busy and at times it's hard to get someone to help you at the counter, but they've always been very helpful. Don't expect the absolute lowest price, but they're reasonable. You're paying for knowledgeable professionals behind the counter. The selection is tremendous, they usually have 1 of what you're looking for. If you're in the area check em out.

I travel from Armstrong County down to Washington just to shop at Ace. I pass many FFLs on the way and though many are great, they don’t have the selection that Ace offers and they offer the same great service. If you are in there and know what you want or at least have an idea on what you want it’s an incredible experience and the staff couldn’t be friendlier

Service here was great. Bought new gun and Bob was very helpful. Had 3 different guns in mind and he took the time to explain all the differences and shared his opinion on all 3. Will definitely come back for the next purchase.

Met at the door by friendly staff. Got a great price for my trade in and a great price on the exact used pistol I was after. Didn't realize I arrived so close to closing time, but nobody seemed to mind at all. I was in and out within 45 minutes. Also, the selection is absolutely insane. You'll be able to find essentially whatever you could want. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

They are mostly nice to deal with. Place is as stocked as can be. Good selection of both long guns and hand guns. Very knowledgeable on what they have. Must visit if buying local and want customer service.

One of my favorite gun shops and I have been going here for years. The guys will definitely help you find what you need. Everyone is very friendly. They usually have a large selection of new and used guns to choose from, including some NFA items. The prices are usually pretty reasonable. They also have a large selection of accessories as well.

The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The store is clean and well organized with everything easy to find. Bob was superb in answering the myriad questions I had and helped me settle on a great new handgun to my collection. I refuse to go anywhere else now for my firearm purchases and maintenance! Love this place. It has never let me down with their inventory. As soon as you walk in you'll see guns everywhere! All are broken up into sections for each style/caliber you are looking for. The staff are always very busy, so you have to take a number. But it's definitely worth waiting, because everyone who works there knows their stuff. They are fully willing and able to help you until you are comfortable, and feel safe with your purchase. Ive never used their gunsmith, however I hear good things about his work. Overall great place for a gun related purchase.
