The Diner New Canaan

Literally chose this place from diners in a 50 mile radius during a recent trip through the area. Absolutely thrilled with my choice. This place is 100% classic American diner but with wonderful outside seating and a terrific vibe. Absolutely loved my ham and cheese omelette, fresh ingredients, great portion size, cooked to perfection! Next time I will sit inside and enjoy the decor! Recommended 10/10.

Gus is such an amazing person just speaking to him on the phone to take my order.. he was very polite understanding and he made sure we had everything we needed... my first time ordering from this place and the people are amazing...

Clean great looking small diner tucked on a side street with lots of pedestrian neighborhood traffic. Had a fried fish burrito with all kinds of vegetables and sauces - fantastic. Fries good. Coffee reasonable … served in a mug with a spoon dropped in which is a peeve of mine, really don’t like that. Vanilla milkshake was very good, served in a nice glass with wide straw. Will definitely seek this place out again when traveling on the Merritt Parkway.

Walking into this Diner was quite enlightening, after our canceled photo shoot due to the heavy down pour of rain. We were greeted with smiles and was quickly seated. 1 of the best grill cheese and bacon sandwiches I’ve eaten in a long time. The diner has such a warm cozy feel to it and I absolutely loved the Halloween decorations.

A throwback diner in the middle of New Canaan. Delicious California Eggs Benedict and pancakes with tons of blueberries. Loved the decor, the service and the food. Give it a try!

So many gluten free options! Delicious food and wonderful waitstaff. Very clean and fun decor 😋

Absolutely loved each of the items I tried here for lunch or brunch. My all time fav is the Salmon Pita wrap, so flavorful and filling!

New Canaan diner is a really fun local treat. It is affordable, and the employees are very friendly! On top of it all, the food there is wonderful. In particular to keep an eye out for are the Halloween shakes, which were locally created and designed by an employee there. It’s a wonderful environment, and I’ll be sure to be back!

Lots to choose from... from breakfast lunch and dinner. Fun place.

Chose the sidewalk seating on a beautiful morning in the quaint Connecticut town of New Canaan. My banana and walnut pancakes (stack of three nicely sized) were moist and delicious. The bottomless coffee was excellent as was the service. Stop by some morning.

We had time to kill one morning before I dropped my S.O. off to the New Canaan train station. This diner had the best ham steak I've ever tasted. He loved his breakfast too. The food was cooked perfectly and the staff is very nice!

This diner is amazing, I come in every 2 weeks and the food is always phenomenal. Never had a bad dish! Everything is stellar. Be sure to try their homemade pies!
