Wandered in while visiting York. My wife knits and was in heaven with all the yarns and possibilities. Lots of different yarns, beautiful knitted projects for inspiration and a wonderful woman running the store. She's obviously passionate about knitting and very happy to share knowledge and info.

My first visit was enough to convince me that this is the only place I'll buy yarn from now on! I make newborn hats for my photography business, and I was looking for a specific shade. The lady who assisted me was very knowledgeable and kind, and she took time to show me some options. I look forward to coming back!

This yarn shop is always getting in pretty new yarn plus more for your projects. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, especially if you’re new to knitting.

The owner spends a lot of time purchasing yarn and really considers her customers when doing so.

Great assortment of yarn sizes and materials. Many yarn shops have a poor showing of bulkier yarns but this place didn't disappoint. They also had cute accessories like leather band cuffs for scarves. It felt like a more "current" yarn shop. Friendly owners as well!

I stumbled on this shop while walking around the York area after a quick lunch. The selection of yarn is amazing. I must say, as a novice, I was a little overwhelmed by all the of types of yarn at first The owner was very helpful in explaining what kind of yarn I needed for my project. She also showed me some of the handmade items around the shop. Super friendly and helpful. If you know how to crochet or knit, this is a must stop shop. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

They have a lovely selection of nice quality yarn here. The staff is so friendly and very helpful especially as I am still a relatively new knitter.

I stopped there a couple of weeks ago. I buy most of my yarn online as I like quality yarn, even if it’s acrylic. First, I was greeted when I entered and she offered help, which I declined and she respected that. Huge bonus as I hate to be hounded. I browsed and she offered help maybe 10-15 minutes later. When I explained there are no yarn shops near me, she told me to have fun lol. Price wise she goes on the higher end and I was expecting that. She is a small business owner. I crochet and that requires more skeins for a project. No issues there. I would have liked to seen more merino wool as that is my favorite wool. I joined her buyers rewards program and will be back again. I do not live in York, but my son does. I saw some yarns I’ve never heard of and yarns I’ve purchased online. A nice experience and I did make a purchase!

Beautiful shop! The owner has been there whenever I have visited and is very welcoming and helpful. There is some gorgeous yarn here, very unique selection. You could certainly spend some time here, even bring a current project and sit comfortably.

After several months of wanting to visit the shop, my sister and I finally got to go in today! What a wonderful experience! Large selection of yarns and notions! The owner was very accommodating! Will stop in again when I'm in the area❤❤❤❤!

I found this quaint little yarn shop about 2 years ago and you can't keep me away from it. They have a good selection and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a little more than an hour away but if it was closer to home I'd definitely visit more often.

What a wonderful day arm shop. Lovely yarn and so helpful with problems. Couldn’t ask for nicer ladies working there.

Excellent selection, not just MadTosh but also Shirsty Cat, Kelbourne Woolens. Cottons, wools, blends. I lost track. Bought my birthday present to myself and was very happy. Staff helpful without being hovering. Directly across from the Central Market. Worth the drive.
