Gail, the owner, was wonderful! She knew her stuff and was very helpful in picking out several different styles and fabric dresses for my occasion, mother of the groom. They had a large inventory of dresses! We picked out the perfect dress in my perfect color, and I couldn't be happier with her caring and very patient attitude! A definite gem of a store and the owner to boot!

Charming shop filled with gorgeous gowns and no pressure atmosphere. We left with one for a pageant & one for prom and will sure to be back for more!

I had a wonderful experience at this bridal shop. Gail was a dream come true. She let me try on a bunch of wedding dresses in the store, some veils, detachable sleeves etc. She was very patient with me, and helped me order my dream wedding gown!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Gail and her boutique. She made finding my wedding dress fun and easy, and always made me feel welcomed. While other boutiques I found to be pushy and more “salesmen like” I never felt that from Gail. From finding my dress to all my fittings, Gail was a pleasure to work with. When I decided I wanted to wear my mother’s veil, she helped to transform it from a 1980s style to a modern look that complimented my dress perfectly. We even got my bridesmaids dresses and my mothers gown from Gail as well. I highly recommend Occasions. I cannot say enough good things about my experiences there.

I had a wonderful experience shopping for a mother of the groom dress. Gail, the owner found me the perfect dress with the blue color I wanted. Although the dress was sleeveless, she said it would be no problem adding a sleeve, which we did. She paid attention to what I was looking for. I would highly recommend Occasions in Bethel for any gown you are looking for. It was a pleasurable experience for me.

Occasions Bridal had an excellent selection of dresses and we walked away with the perfect prom dress for my niece! Everything was on trend and beautiful. But the main reason I’m writing a review, which I never do, is to say that Gail, the owner was so incredibly patient while we tried on dress after dress. She was so supportive of my niece and her feelings and really cared that she felt beautiful. It took us two hours to pick a dress, I had two little girls with me, and not once did we feel rushed. Also, for those tall girls out there, my niece is 6’1 and there were many options that were long enough 🙌Definitely worth a visit!

My first experience shopping at Occasions was picture perfect. That was 7 years ago when my daughter & I purchased her High School Prom dress. Gail knew just what dresses would compliment my daughter's height & body 5'10' hour glass shape. My second shopping experience was just 7 months ago purchasing a wedding dress for myself, age 66, size 6. I walked in told Gail I was looking for a classic Audrey Hepburn look. She picked out 3 to 4 gowns I said Yes to the 1st gown I tried on.
I find Gail to be committed to her customer's and committed to having all customer's leave with a memorable experience. She is not pushy. no need to be when you know your craft. If you want a pleasurable experience with someone who is not making a commission on sales, go to Occasions you will be pleased.

Gail is amazing! I went in yesterday for a Mother of the Groom dress and walked out with a dress that I love! I am plus size and Occasions had multiple options! My son was scheduled to get married last year but due to Covid it got rescheduled. I had a dress picked out last year but didn’t buy it because of the cancellation but when I went yesterday Gail had the dress there for me to try again. She had put it aside last year knowing I would be back! That my friends is customer service! I love Occasions!

My daughters have purchased several prom dresses over the years at Occasions and each shopping experience was pleasant and stress-free. The most recent purchase at Occasions was my youngest daughter’s wedding dress. Gail, as in the past, was patient, helpful and so accommodating. The entire process was pleasant, exciting and, yes, fun. Gail has a way of putting her customers at ease and helping them to savor special moments. My daughter was so glad that she went to this local store to purchase her dress, rather than a larger, more impersonal establishment. Thank you, Gail, for giving her a memorable buying experience.

I’m so happy with my experience because of the service that Gail and her team provided. She gave her honest but extremely polite opinion about what would and would not look nice on me - and she was100% right! I believe it was Gail who actually pulled the dress for me as she thought it would look great on me (although she let us pull and try on whatever dresses we wanted to). She answered all our questions and concerns about the dresses and has such a calm and motherly demeanor - which is exactly what I needed! She took my wishes seriously and I completely trust her. In all my dealings with her I felt as though she was treating my dress and the vision of how I wanted to look on my wedding in the same way she would have treated her own daughter - she wanted my experience and my dress to be perfect!
They never rushed me to make a decision and when I found my dream dress they made sure to find the perfect accessories to dress me up and they let me keep the dress on as long as I wanted when I was too excited to take it off!! It was such a memorable day and experience that I won’t forget - made even more special because it was at Occasions.

In addition, I ended up getting my bridesmaid dresses from Occasions as well. I will admit that I was a little behind schedule in picking / ordering the girls’ dresses and one shop made me incredibly nervous even telling me I might not get the dresses on time and to not even try on the dress I had my heart set on. It was no problem for Gail though! When I showed her the dress and my timeline her response was “I will make it happen!” A few of my girls even commented to me how nice she was on the phone when they called with their measurements and how helpful she was in talking through their concerns with sizes, alterations, etc.

This might be a smaller bridal shop in a small town, but they Occasions will give you the big city experience and I’m so glad that I said “yes to the dress” there!

Occasions saved the day! I called frantically with a last minute request to find an off the rack gown for my Mother. My wedding is in less than two weeks. They accommodated and made it a mission to help my mother find a gown, after a terrible experience from another boutique. I will recommend occasions a million times over and over for their outstanding customer service!! Make sure to stop in here for all your elegant events!! Thank you again occasions!!

Got my prom dress here a year ago, beautiful gold dress that words cannot describe. The owner was very kind and helpful. Schedule an appointment, how would you feel if you had appointments and people just started walking in demanding priority? The dresses here are gorgeous, better quality than Sabrina Styles, and cheaper! They even celebrate with you at the end with confetti! It was my first time ever buying a prom dress, and after having a horrible experience with my mom at Sabrina’s, I felt like we were treated like royalty here! Thank you so much for the beautiful dress. I wish I had 100 more proms to go to so I could support your business!

stopped in on a lark for a trunk show for my Mother-of-Groom dress a few months ago and ended up ordering a dress. I have to say I couldn't be happier with the entire process. Occasions is one of the few shops that carry plus size sample dresses so you are able to try on samples if you happen to be plus size. Gail is awesome and made the whole experience so enjoyable and effortless.

Today I went Into Occasions Bridal Bethel what a Wonderful experience been running around looking for a Dress found this place on Line & IT was Truly a Great Experience I Met with Gail she was lovely found a Dress on the rack & she sent me across the street to Maddy's to get the Dress tailored. Iam the mother of the Bride. I have been losing weight so I waited maybe to long but Thank God I found this shop

There are no words to describe how gorgeous my daughter looked in the Wedding Gown we purchased at Occasions! Prior to finding Occasions we visited another much larger store and did not receive the personal attention and warmth that we did at Occasions! I can't say enough about Gail who spent so much time with us and Martha who altered the dress to fit my daughter perfectly! We had endless compliments on her gown and without a doubt there will be future brides from this wedding that purchase their dress here!

Occasions was recommended to me by 3 unrelated friends, so I went there looking for a dress for my son’s wedding. I did NOT want a typical mother of the groom dress and Gail delivered. She recommended a dress that I could alter to match my needs.

I have to say when I had the first alterations done, added sleeves, added a bling belt, which were my ideas, I was not happy. But Gail, the talented owner of Occasions, knew what to do. She suggested a beautiful wrap lined with a silvery gossamer to pick up the light from the dress . The wrap was made from the extra material from the hem (I am a bit short). To finish the look, I found the perfect necklace to showcase this dress in the store and a clutch purse to match the gossamer of the wrap.

It all came together beautifully thanks to Gail Not only is she a visual artist helping me put together a dream look, she Is all patience and goodwill working with clients.

I am so glad I followed the recommendations of my friends, now I can highly recommend Occasions to you.

Came across this bridal store via Google and I must admit I was glad I did. I made an appt of which I was running about 30 minutes late and Gail was more than understanding. Upon my arrival she greeted me and immediately took me to the area of wedding dresses. While there she took the time to understand the styles I was most interested in based on my price budget. Based on her assessment, she put aside a few dresses for me to try on....The first dress I tried on was gorgeous and exactly the look I wanted. The only downside was the fact that pictures of the wedding gowns were prohibited. This of course is no indication of bad customer service. The 1-1 attention was outstanding. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking that is unsure of the exact style that would be complimentary to their body type and personality and requiring 1-1 customer service. That was me before I walked in....with an August wedding planned and a body type that is hard to shop for, I walked in very unsure of what could work for me. I'm happy to say, I left there with a great deal of pep in my step! Great place and very friendly staff!
