Here's the bottom line for my review: My repeat experiences here has been nothing short of fantastic. I'm a very happy customer and Camera Center of York has earned my loyalty and respect.

I live in Delaware and it's a boring 2 hour ride to come here. It's so worth it! Chris is a really nice, friendly, and knowledgeable guy. His love for what he does is evident. I've had him work on my Olympus OM-1 and on my Nikon FM. The prices have been very reasonable and the repairs have helped me keep these beautiful cameras in working order. I have no doubt I'll be returning if any of my current or future cameras need work.

I stopped here on my way to visit family in PA. Never knew about this store or much about this area in the town. I knew the store had some camera gems from what was posted online and had to stop by to see if it was true. What I saw online was a fraction of what is actually in store. Chris assisted me and I was blown away by his knowledge on cameras (he knew everything and I'm not exaggerating). He helped me find an odd camera accessory I wanted and showed me how to work it. His friendliness and knowledge on cameras makes it worth stopping by the store. When I drive 2 hours to visit my family from now on, I will have to do a detour to stop by here. I made a comment about how I didn't like the viewfinder in my nikon fe and he recommended the nikon fe2 and ran down the differences between the two from the top of his head. Even if you can't make it in the store, calling in to see if they have something available in stock because they probably will like in my case. I can't recommend this store enough!! This place is a real gem and definitely deserves its praise. I will treasure my camera I got from here for a long time and not just for the camera but for the experience purchasing it.

Great shop in Downtown York. Love stopping by and seeing their seemingly endless collection of vintage cameras. Chris is the best and somehow knowledgeable about every camera ever made.

The owner and staff showcase the best of small businesses. Every camera i’ve had repaired had personalized care and returned in a timely manner. Every film roll (minus 1) has been developed without issue; even taking requests of stand/semi-stand development techniques. I could not recommend this place enough. If you have a hint of interest in photography this place is a must see.

If you need a photo printed from your phone, this is the place to stop for personalized service and a high quality result.

This place rocks. Everyone there is knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly patient for newbies like myself getting into film. I recently moved and will continue to ship my film out to get developed there.

It's a beautiful shop with very kind people. I was visiting the town while I need 6 photos crop to a customized size. It required very precise cut 18 times. The staff took great labor doing it for me, always measure twice for every cut. Really appreciate!

Purchased a used lens with the confidence that I have a 90 day warranty. It was a huge decision and cost out of pocket. But the pictures I have been taking have been getting better and better as I get use to such a larger and heavier lens.

Left my one camera body for a good cleaning and when picking up. Will leave my other identical body for cleaning on pick up. In the meantime, he will be looking for the next used option of a camera body based on the knowledge and ability of the camera.

The owner Chris, is a certified photographic consultant who is at the top of his game. Best camera/photo center in the mid-state, and likely amongst the best you'll find anywhere. Highly recommended! Customer service is their strength. You wont be disappointed.

The entire staff at the Camera Center of York are just about the most helpful people I have ever dealt with. They are not pushy. They are very helpful with making prints at the computers there. I am learning about my camera...that my husband purchased somewhere else... and they have been nothing but kind and informative. ERGO I went to them when I wanted to buy a camera for my daughter. Chris was very helpful and grasp what I was thinking and looking for. I got a great one for her.
