New Freedom Restaurant and Coffee Shop

One of the best restaurants in the area! They have the most consistent, fast and friendly service around. Fiance and I have gone a few times and everything we have tried so far has been delicious. If you havent tried the cheese curds you are missing out! Really good comfort food and the prices are very fair for the quality of food they use. The service was excellent as usual, Danyelle helped us tonight. We had the London Broil special and it was one of the most tender pieces of meat ever had. Definitely need to stop by this place if you are in the area!

Omg do yourself a favor and check out this diner in the middle of nowhere. The cream of crab and fish n chips was one of the best of each I have ever had. The breading on the fish was so light and airy. Incredible! They also have a fantastic menu. Great service by Ellen. Thank you people!

TEXAS SIZE portions, homemade food and service with a Hey Hun, smile! Skip over priced poor service chain restaurants and enjoy the country road that takes you to The New Freedom Diner. You can cruise in on your Harley and elbow up to the counter, or bring your whole family because they have ample seating in booths and long tables. Save room for desert. The desert options are never ending.

Place is actually bigger then it looks from the outside. Staff is extremely friendly. Food is priced well. Breakfast is worth what you pay, although the home fries were bland and tasted as if it were over cooked in boiling water before being tossed on a grill for color.

We stopped here last Saturday on our way to York PA. My wife had told me she had been before, and they had a famous broasted chicken. I then remembered those leftovers she brought home and immediately pulled into the parking lot! We started out with the cheese curds…AMAZING. Then we split a few classics, cheeseburger sub, and the fish & chips. I was blown away, and we both left extremely satisfied. Food was fantastic, as was the service. We will definitely be coming back.

Stopped in for breakfast and sat at the counter. Waitress was very friendly and kept my coffee full. Food was delicious. Got the eggs Benedict and a side of scrapple. The poached eggs were nice and runny and the scrapple was very good. I will definitely be back with the family.

Awesome soft crab sandwich. PLUS there's a note on the menu to ask about the free beer. Seriously. I guess since they can't sell it, they're giving it away. Up to two Miller Lites with dinner. How cool is that! This is my new favorite restaurant.

Service and food were great. We held up our waitresses table for a long time untangling a necklace. Shr was so patient i tipped her an additional $10. Wish i remembered her name but good breakfast and coffee was awesome actually

Was a spur of the moment choice.. Wife said they had t hh e best restaurant chili she's ever had. Just good, down homemade food. Oh, and Smith Island cake for dessert.

Service was excellent, food was hot, fresh, homemade...supporting local business is the thing to do! Loved the atmosphere of the dining room. I'll be back for sure!

Made lunch reservations for Sunday. It's BYOB with lots of options. All seven of us enjoyed our food, which included soup or salad. I would recommend the broasted chicken and hot turkey. The rolls were hot and the service was terrific. This is a nice country menu with solid food and a friendly atmosphere.

Hand up best food around. We come from 1 hour away in Maryland to eat breakfast there alot. One day will try dinner! Very reasonable priced and all homemade food. Definitely a must go to! My favorite is the country fried steak for breakfast. Nice welcoming warm staff.

WOW!! If you are in the Shrewsbury, PA area, you need to eat at the New Freedom Restaurant!! We were camping nearby and went for dinner and breakfast. Both were delicious!! For dinner, I had Talapia served over rice. The tilapia had a seasoning blend that was delicious!! The rice was SCRUMPTIOUS!! It had mixed vegetables and mushrooms in it. It was very flavorful!! It came with soup or salad. I chose the salad. The blue cheese dressing was tasty. My husband ordered the Meatloaf. He said it was really good.

You can't go wrong with eating breakfast there, too. Their omelets are deliciously moist and not dried out. Their homefries are really tasty. My husband said their Sausage Gravy over Biscuits was delicious.

It's a big place with really good service and great food!! You will not be disappointed with the New Freedom Restaurant!!!

Went for breakfast with my lil lady. Food is always good and nice portions for the $. Always good service. Rachel is always our favorite ♥

I had an excellent brunch. My food was served promptly and every aspect of it was great. I appreciate the attentive service and laid-back atmosphere, which was perfect for a leisurely meal with a friend that I hadn't seen in a couple of years. It was great to catch up, eat together, and to plan some adventure travel once again. This restaurant was the perfect recommendation. We'll be back!

Best food I have ever had. Lined everything we have gotten so far

We were in the area for a few months and ate here a few times. Everything we had here was excellent, whether breakfast or dinner. Service was always great and everyone working kind and friendly. If ever in the area again we would return.
