Food was tasty and well timed, drinks were fabulous and our waiters knowledge on them was great.

Joined some friends for the 5-course Irish dinner and greatly enjoyed the evening. The food, service and wine pairings were all great! The manager and sommelier shared some background and interesting details regarding each offering, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Who knew Irish food could taste so good?!?! Excellent!

Very satisfied with our food and the ambience. With the coconut curry chicken I ordered I can say that it's the first time in a long while that I've tasted something uniquely new. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the drink and food selections and was very professional. Would definitely return. Loved the cloth towels in the bathrooms.

This place is so much more different than your typical restaurant in the area. It gives you a big city feel in our little City of York. My girlfriend Gavriella and I went for a Wednesday wine tasting night, "An Evening in Paris". We had a blast learning more and trying some great French wines! Side note, the Juliette Rose is fantastic. Robert ran the tasting, and his knowledge and passion definitely stood out. We decided to go with Swiss burgers since we're both huge burger fans, and they were excellent. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the fries were seasoned just right. I'm giving the restaurant a perfect score because I was wowed from the moment I walked in the door! Did I mention they even have an art studio on the 2nd floor!

So, note I make this statement as a mutt of York. I know it far better then most my age. This is a breath of life that York needs. Food is without a doubt best in York. The drinks are great but you need not come here for that alone. If your like people like Bobby and Gordon. Then you'll love the food here. As it's the best in York. I love here over thirty years and can say with out the shadow of a doubt. The best food in York. It's worth the extra penny.

100% worth the drive! The food is amazing, a wine list that goes on and on, the atmosphere is perfect and the service was top notch! We had an incredible meal and were able to support local artists while we waited for our food, while enjoying a fabulous bottle of wine. I will definitely return. This was not just dinner out, it was an experience. Love!

The atmosphere is the big deal here. Music genre changes as the night goes on. The bar tender (who is there every weekend) really makes the place pop. Super friendly and knows the area well. He knows how to make a proper whiskey sour. Reasonably priced for a city bar. Drink menu was top knotch. The tapas served here were both filling and inexpensive. The presentation was also very good both for drink and food. They have a piano player from time to time as well. Reservations were not mandatory but were strong advised, you could get a better table by the windows or piano player with one . Place just had a super chill vibe for all ages.

We always have the best experiences at Handsome Cab! John, the host, is always so pleasant and a great conversationalist. They make the best cocktails here, and always have a stellar wine list. The staff really know their stuff when it comes to mixing drinks and serving up amazing food. The menu changes from time to time and always has vegan options, and a great variety. They’re also so considerate here! They leave out blankets for patron use outside during the cooler nights and are planning on having heaters, too. This is great because we can continue to spend Saturday evenings out listening to the live music and enjoying excellent food and drinks. We definitely plan on visiting again!

We attended Cabfest. What a great experience. Very large wine selection and knowledgeable staff.

My wife loved the chocolate creme' brulee - she almost never orders dessert when we go out but she ate the entire thing. The bartender was amazing, he made a great NA drink for my wife who does not drink. He was able to mimick the flavors of a sazerac in my Old Fasioned even though he did not have the absinthe to make the actual drink

Yet another wonderful evening at Handsome Cab. My wife and I come at-least once a month. The service is always top-notch… and the Peanut Butter pie is fantastic! My wife has allergies and they are very courteous and go above an beyond to meet her needs. See you next month!

Hands down best food and cocktails in the York area. Great decor and overall vibe. The cheese board will never disappoint. We basicly made this our go to spot, cant wait til they reopen 🥰🏆🔥

Stopped in for a late celebration dinner after my daughter's show. The service was very good, the waiter friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. All-in-all, if recommended for an intimate dinner.

I always have a wonderful time when I come to The Handsome Cab! The food is always delicious (I personally LOVE the bang bang shrimp), and they have a wonderful selection of cocktails and wines. The music is always good, too!

Loved the food! We had great service on Valentine's day. The food has a modern twist so look at the menu before you go. Their creme brulee was sinfully amazing. I can't wait to go back!

Went for a tour to book our rehearsal dinner here and decided to stay for dinner because we love the food, drinks, and atmosphere! David was absolutely AMAZING to work with on planning, making things very stress free. He truly went above and beyond. The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful (as they always are when we go) and of course the food was amazing as always!

Everyone has good cocktails and food, most have a nice atmosphere.
