Providence Divine Cakes

This place deserves a million stars. Providence is my go to place whenever I need any cake. They’ve done some truly incredible pieces for me and my kids. I can’t thank them enough for always going above and beyond. They always communicate in a timely manner, and absolutely knock my vison out of the park. I will forever go to Providence for any baking need!

Providence is an almost weekly visit Saturday mornings to claim whatever chocolate chip cookies with sea salt and caramel they have left. Those cookies are easily the best I've ever had. Everything we've ever gotten from this location has been a winner, and I enjoy the banter each weekend. I'm a customer for life and suggest everyone give them a shot, just don't buy my Saturday morning cookies...

Absolutely love this place! I will never stop raving about them! I have been going to this bakery for almost 4 years and they have never fail me. This was my sons birthday cake from last year and they completely nailed it. So many people came up to me with amazing things to say on the look of the cake and also the taste!

Had a great experience here. New to the area and needed to last minute get my wife a cake. Found this place on google and headed over from our business.

Customer service was friendly and Evi paid attention to every detail of what I was asking for. I ended up leaving with not only a cake but cup cakes and cake pops too!

I'm shocked by the bad reviews, and can only imagine that they come from the competition. (It's also wrong for someone to give a business they've never used a one-star rating based on other people's bad reviews!) For over a decade I've driven 75 miles annually from Chester county for my son's birthday cakes; his birthday wouldn't be the same without his vanilla cake with chocolate mousse/ganache filling and vanilla buttercream. The cakes are amazing (not too sweet), decorations inspired, and staff very accommodating and nice. Several times they have accepted my late order because I forgot to call in time and knew how important it was to my son! I have great local bakeries where I live, but always make the special trip to Providence! I even have a couple local friends making the trip. If you have a special occasion, there is no better bakery.

I have traveled the world many times over, usually touring metropolises where good food is available. Furthermore, my immediate and extended family and I are foodies! So to say that Providence has some of the best desserts is saying a lot. A clear sign of delicious, high-quality, homemade dessert is when it’s moist and not overly sweet. This is true for every decadent Providence desserts that I have indulged in. Since they specialize in bite-size portions, I get to enjoy a vast array of treats without buying whole portions. I’ve tasted at least twenty different desserts, but I do not know the names of most of them. Of the ones that I can name are scrumptious: cheesecake, scone, pineapple cake, cannoli, and almond cookies. (Hi Prov! This is Cam.)

Everything I've ever had here has been fantastic and the staff always friendly and accommodating. There's not really much more to say than that except, next time you have an event or office party, you should definitely try them out!!!

Made this wonderful cake for me on short notice - my friends loved it and wholeheartedly appreciate the bakery for accommodating us... will put my order in early next time.

Hands down best place for cakes in Central PA! Cakes are moistl and delicious. Now the buttercream NEXT LEVEL! I am also a fan of their upside down pineapple cake too. Providence Cakes never disappoints. I try to stop by whenever I am in town! Try them out you won't regret it!

I had the strawberry torte and it was amazing. Hands down best cake I ever ate. I will order again from here. Pricing was reasonable too.

Providence Divine Cakes takes it to a different level. Rarely do you have a beautiful cake match the flavor. Here you do. They aren't the cheapest, but they are the best. The raspberry chocolate was my favorite, but I've had several.

I've seen reviews stating "I've seen bad reviews, therefore I'm not going". Give me a freaking break! You aren't even going to go, and you give this wonderful place a 1 star? Consider the sources folks!

Yes I understand customer service and although I've never had a bad experience here, you don't know who just left the store before you arrived. I always keep that in mind.

We ordered a custom cake from Providence Divine Cakes in York, PA for our daughter's high school graduation party. The cake was beautiful, just like we requested. It tasted as wonderful as it looked. We had so many compliments. Thank you to the amazing bakery staff!!

Their chocolate espresso cake truly earns the "divine" title. SO TASTY! And beautiful. We wanted a silver fade metallic finish, no fondant wedding cake and it was beautiful and delicious - no sacrifices. Delivery was expensive since our venue was far, but otherwise reasonable pricing, especially considering we have a full tier extra for an anniversary cake party ;) Could've cut back to a 100 person cake rather than 125, but we can't wait to eat the rest!!

Providence did the cake for our wedding 11/4. This was the best cake I have ever had . We had so many people ask on our wedding day "who made this cake " . If you have a life even or even just want a cake choose Providence Divine Cakes!! You will not be disappointed. The cake is good but the owner is even sweeter. So professional and just down to earth. Great place for cakes and baked goods. I went there for some Valentines Day treats and got a nice mix of high end baked goods like tarts, cake balls, cupcakes, and a bunch of other stuff that I can’t remember the name of. Everything was great and I would definitely go back again. They do have a couple gluten free options. You can't go wrong with the peanut butter chocolate cupcakes or the cheesecake squares.

They do offer custom cakes for birthdays and special events. I have had two of their cakes on different occasions and both turned out delicious. These cakes are head and shoulders better than any store bought birthday/ice cream cake. You know how when you go to a party and the generic cake they serve has 5 inches of overly sweet icing on top and it makes you sick just looking at it? Not these cakes. Their cakes are well balanced, they look amazing, and they dont leave you feeling sick / guilty after eating a slice. Though, let’s be honest, it’s pretty hard to stop at one slice.

If you’re looking for cakes and sweets that are a notch above the rest definitely check this place out the next chance you get. We like to eat at the Tapenade Bistro next door then stop over and get some sweets on our way out.

We got our wedding cake from here. We got a 6 inch ceremonial cake to cut and cupcakes for all of our guests. The cake was absolutely beautiful, and was very fresh and delicious (we got carrot cake). Everybody here was so easy and good to work with. If you need a cake for any special occasion this is the place to go.

Best cakes around. Had my wedding cake done here almost 5 years ago - AMAZING. People still talk about it . Almost every big occasion we buy from here too. Today picked up some premade Christmas cakes and the service was absolutely wonderful and pleasant.
