Janina's Fine Desserts

This is a great bakery to go to when you have a sweet tooth and want a gourmet pick me up. I got the chocolate mousse cake & a Paris-Brest with hazelnut crème. They both were well made and very filling; so the price is justifiable for the quality and taste. I went in around 3:45pm on a Thursday and thought there wouldn’t be much of a selection to choose from, however there were a decent amount of desserts to decide upon. I look forward to dining in on the café side and ordering from their breakfast menu.

Very clean, professional bakery and cafe. It's a little pricier than other places around, but justifiably delicious. The desserts I tried were expertly made and overly sweet. I look forward to visiting again.

We have visited Janina's a number of times over the past few years. Today we had the pleasure of having Janina, herself, serve us. To celebrate my husband's birthday, we ordered some coffees, a hot chocolate for my toddler, a croissant and a chocolate chip cookie. While she made the hot cocoa we engaged in conversation with sweet Janina. A few minutes after we took our seats and began enjoying our coffees, Janina came around the corner with the sweetest little strawberry, white chocolate mini desserts...one for each of us. And she had a candle in one. She brought the dessert over and proceeded to sing "happy birthday" with us. This felt incredibly thoughtful and personal!

Today's experience was exceptional. It was so refreshing doing business with a person who was personable! And dining at Janina's restaurant felt lik what, I imagine, it would be like to have a seat at her table at home.

Janina's is by far the best bakery in the area. She makes custom cakes for all occasions. We are vegetarian and cannot eat eggs. Her eggless cakes are the best we have ever had. We order from her every birthday! Make sure to order well in advance. Janina gets booked up fast!

Very fresh! Very fine! Very delish! Highly recommend this place whether it's for desserts, breakfast, or brunch. Best dessert in the area.

I work near Janina's Fine Desserts and have always wanted to stop there to try out their desserts and pastries. I finally had the opportunity and they DO HAVE fabulous dessert and pastry options. I tried several and was extremely satisfied. Wow, amazing tasting pastries and a very clean store. If you enjoy desserts and want quality, stop in at Janina's Fine Desserts.

This is the best cake ever! My daughter fell in love with the beauty and the flavor of this cake! Everything I asked for exceeded my expectations! Guest are asking me to order another one just so they can have one for themselves. I have found my Pennsylvania baker. I will be going back to try there other delicacies.

They were very helpful when ordering a custom cake, very nice and patient too. They got back to me in a few minutes when I left a voicemail. The cake was awesome, came out very nice and the flavor was good. The cupcakes were even better!

Their pastries are amazing. They serve Zeke's coffee or fresh made coffee from espresso beans. They fresh grind their coffee beans. Their croissants are amazing and best! So airy and fluffy.
They serve breakfast and lunch which I would love to try.
Tried their quiche it was too good.
Tried their breakfast which is also amazing - omelette, french toast and pancakes. All were really good.
Need to try lunch salads and Pierogi.

I didn't eat her. But ordered and picked up the BEST cheesecake I have ever eaten for my 65th Birthday. My family loved it also! Thank You! 😊

I’ve tasted MANY Neapolitan cakes before. I used to be on Worst Cooks in America, and had things made from famous Chefs etc. But hands down this has been the BEST one I’ve had thus far. Super fresh, flaky, the custard tasted amazing as well. This deserves more than 5 stars! Thank you, Janina for this amazing cake.

I've always passed this place and never stopped in. I needed some last minute breakfast pastries for my planned tea before my wedding and let me tell you they delivered. I just got some items from the display case and everything was incredible. Thanks so much for making my day even more special. I can't wait to stop in for breakfast in the near future!

I've been going to janinas for quite a while, I've never had a bad experience. Quite literally everything I've purchased from her is the best tasting sweets ever.

I finally got around to writing this review when she made the rasberry cake for my wedding, a cake ive enjoyed many times. It was phenomenal, looked beautiful, and was quite a hit with my guests.

I would go so far as to say she's one of the best bakers in the U.S
Her macarons are the best ive ever had.
You owe it to yourself to go to this bakery and try EVERYTHING.

For as long as she is in business, I will be a regular customer at this fine establishment.

I found Janina's purely by accident while I was getting gas next door. I actually hadn't had coffee or eaten this morning so thought I would check it out.

Both the latte I had and the croissant were simply delicious!!!

Love to The View of the mountains, the Ambiance, the service and the food. I will definitely be back to try brunch and breakfast.

Tried a macaron for the first time and it was delicious. The lady at the counter was super nice and the area was tastefully decorated.

Best cakes ever. That was the starting of my relationship with this small Polish bakery/Cafe. The name is absolutely correct, they have "Fine Desserts" and we have enjoyed our brunches and breakfasts there along with the mouthwatering cakes Janina has made for my kids Birthday party and other occasions. I recommend everyone to try Janinas'.

Unfortunately, quality and professionalism is becoming rare these day. Thankfully with Janina’s it’s all they do. Quality product and excellent communication. I needed a cake for my wife’s birthday. A particularly special 60th birthday milestone. From the first call, I felt I definitely picked the right place. We picked up the cake on Saturday morning for the party to happen later that day, and all I can say is wow! They did an amazing job with the decorations and airbrushing. The cake was absolutely perfect and what we had discussed as a design. When we had the party and we brought it in to sing happy birthday my wife was speechless. She absolutely loved it but the best part was when we got to eat it. It was a tiered cake with chocolate ganache on the bottom and chocolate strawberry on the top. It is truly one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. All I can say, is bravo and thank you. We will definitely be going to Janina’s from now on.

Always a pleasure to come here. I usually just pick up desserts but today I ordered and ate in the clean and pleasant Cafe section. Delicious lunch and even better desserts.

Nice place with charming and delicious desserts. You can also order breakfast. Quiet and comfortable cafe with nice staff.

This was the best cake I have ever had. I had a strawberry cake for my wife it was the hit of the party it was so good she loved it. This young lady it a great pastry chef. I will be back for more absolutely gorgeous cake. Thank you so much. Mike davis
