Prospect Hill Cemetery

Prospect Hill Cemetery is so beautiful and full of history. The staff here are so kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. It is so well taken care of, beautiful landscaping and flowers. It's a place that connects with nature and it makes for such a serene and tranquil environment.

They also offer free historical tram rides that are so nice! There is so much amazing history in York and this cemetery is certainly something extra special.

Lori L. Romig was really helpful with everything at the cemetery. She is also helping with other things at the cemetery. Want to thank her for everything she has done for my family. Thank you Lori L. Romig.

We recently used your services for our Mothers funeral and I must say that we were treated respectfully and graciously by William Whitacre. He did an outstanding job helping us finalizing moms funeral and he also helped me and my husband get started on our purchase of our vaults and plaque for our plots. I cannot thank William Whitacre enough for the help and for the care that he has given us. I would recommend everyone to talk to him with getting your end of life procedures taken care of. Alot of my family is buried at Prospect Hill Cemetary and we have never been displeased with the care of our burial plots. William Whitacre thank you for all that you have done.

Bill Whitacre graciously helped my family every step of the way when we chose Greenmount Cemetery. Since we were out of state, Bill went out of his way to not only describe the location but went to the site to take pictures to send us. Bill’s pictures helped us choose a spot we thought our brother would have loved. The location was a great comfort to us. On the day of our service, Bill met us at the cemetery, everything set up in advance, exactly as he described. Thank you, Bill.

Thank you for all you have done for my aunt today. My aunt was a very kind a special lady to me always there for me when I needed her. Bill Whitacre was very informative and helpful always willing to answer any questions. The whole staff was very helpful and helping find a grave site of my aunts baby boy who had passed in 1971 I was never at his site before today thank you so much for making that happen for me.

Stumbled across this impressive and humbling place while touring the Lincoln Highway. Words can't describe my reaction.

This is a beautiful cemetery!

A PEACEFUL & BEAUTIFUL PLACE.

Average place to spend eternity. Lots of neighbors, some of whom are still trying to lord their wealth over you. A bit of a hike from the local hospitals but pretty close to several large nursing homes. Good trees.
