Charles Sweeney Memorial Park

The Shrewsbury Area Centennial Lions Ckub hosted a wonderful event with Live music by Ren and The Second Nature and games and raffles and popcorn...so much fun!!!

Nice little park with lots of different playground options. Great for all ages and plenty of shade. Also pavilions are nice as well. Bathrooms on site!

Nice being in a land where a park is open 24 hours a day! A place you can go and listen to the summer night life or watch a meteor shower without any trouble for being there during closing hours.

It was a laid back playground where children had a good time under their parents' watchful eyes.

The Park is very spacious with various playsets for kids to use. They have an area you can have a family and friends BBQ at with plenty of benches. There is also a two rim basketball court, and plenty of parking. My son always has a blast when we take him to this park. Also there is plenty of places to eat and explore nearby.

Great park for kids of all ages. So much stuff to do to keep them entertained for hours. Plenty of picnic tables under an awning.

A great place to bring the kids with a safe, fun playground, room to run, sun, fresh air and trees. It is a well attended park and has parking nearby. I'm very glad to have the Sweeney Park close to home - the grandkids and I love it!

Playground has a lot of things for children of all ages to play with. Equipment is little dated but my kid really enjoyed it.

Great playground! So much to do-- plus, plenty of table space for lunch. Only downside to right now (probably due to winter :p ) is that the bathrooms are now closed.

Wonderful playground! Large and small playsets, swings, jungle gym, merry go round and even seesaws! Lots of picnic tables under a pavilion.

The park was very well kept, even the bathrooms are clean. If you've ever been in a park bathroom, they are usually depressing, the men's room was far above that expectation.

Birthday parties,graduation or just having fun with family and friends. It's the place for fun for all ages plus on site restrooms a plus.

Very spacious and well maintained park and playground. We were there for a Scout camping event and it was a great experience.

Awesone National Athem sang by local girl from the high school.
Carnival was great even with short rain showers .Music was Good.

Always clean. Has a bathroom that is open from late spring to early autumn.

If you're a thrill seeker like me you'll love how the swing looks and sounds like its gonna break with minimal pressure

Nice little park for kids. My granddaughter loved the sandbox and all of the sand toys.

Play my softball games here twice a week. Always clean and we'll kept.
