Such a sweet little place. The atmosphere is relaxed yet busy. The food is fantastic, and the portions are just right. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the food came out in a timely manner. Kind management and lovely surrounding shops. Come here if you're looking for a good meal and/or a nice place to pass time.

The Colonial Coffee Shop is our favorite restaurant when we are in town for appointments. Great food, very well maintained and spotless building.

Absolute fire breakfast. Potatoes were nice and crispy and eggs were cooked to perfection. Delicious coffee and juice plus friendly and quick wait staff

This was my first time visiting. Our server was such a peach even though she was busy as all get out. She checked on us frequently, I wish I could remember her name. But we'll definitely dine in again soon!

Stopped in for a quick coffee, but breakfast was being served so I opted for a quick bite instead. Seating was immediate, immaculately clean, friendly, and breakfast was delicious! Highly recommended!

1st time here, our server was quite attentive, gave us some time to review the menu, brought us our drinks! We ordered 2 Eggs w/home fries and scrapple, onions added! I had the gyro omelet with pita. We received just enough of everything quickly, nice amount of onions mixed in w/home fries, scrapple was probably the best we’ve ever had when we’ve ordered it. Coffee was topped of, attention was paid to us - very gracious wait staff. Place has 16 booths which makes it comfortable - coffee was good. Price was right! Definitely worth a stop, will be back! I suggest you give it a try - no disappointments!

Love the small town feel of this diner/coffee shop. Counter service for a quick bite and morning coffee or sit down with or without a friend in a booth.

The food is great with all the options you could want. Service will knock your socks off with attentiveness but not being bothersome.

Chatty fellow patrons made this experience comfortable and welcoming. I enjoyed having a discussion over coffee then getting some quick paperwork done. Banged out the check at the counter then off I went.

I love this place! The food is amazing and the service is excellent! The cooks here will have your order ready super fast! Take-out is quick as well! Great place for some coffee and home fries! The bagel sandwich is a must-try.

I have lived near Colonial for 3 years. Never went in. I don't go into coffee shops much. But today, I needed some food quick and saw them have food too. Wow. What have I been missing! Fantastic food and sweet atmosphere. Will be back! Also my order was a takeout and they did ask if I wanted plastic ware. Only disappointment was hamburger was dry. Nothing on it at all. No vegetables. Nothing Maybe a miscommunication on my part?

I’ve been going to this place since I was 4yrs old and I’m 37. By far the best, quickest and consistent breakfast place in York. It’s no frills just great food for a very affordable price and the staff is amazing. They’re always welcoming, friendly and kind. It is run by a family and from the time you walk in, you feel that positive energy that comes from a true family run establishment. They care about their customers, community and each other, which in these times is always nice to see. You should stop by, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!!!!

I thought we'd walk in and be greeted by a little coffee shop, like something similar to a Starbucks, but this is a tiny cafe! I had my kids with me, and we got the cheapest stuff on the breakfast menu... muffins, a cinnamon roll, and a breakfast sandwich. Everything was delicious and filling! We will be back for a proper meal someday.

Just had breakfast at Colonial and it was DELICIOUS!!! French toast and the home fries with onions were some of the best I've ever eaten. My server was extremely friendly and cordial. Breakfast came out extremely fast and I was more than happy to eat all of it!!! Orange Juice was ice cold and great compliment to the delicious breakfast. Great GO TO BREAKFAST SPOT!!!

I have been going here for what must be nearly 30 years, and the quality of food and service has always been 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the Athenian omelette.

My mom comes in regularly since she works in a nearby office. I've come in with her a few times. They treat her like family here, the food is good and affordable. It's a great spot for me to meet her during her lunch break, and the service is phenomenal.

Great breakfast.. Great staff.. The Colonial Coffee Shop is a favorite spot for EVERYONE. The owners and staff treat everyone as if they were guest in their own homes. Lunch today was delicious.

Great food and service for a good price! We went for breakfast and I ordered the feta cheese omelet with home fries and pita bread. It was absolutely delicious!

I have been eating breakfast there for years the waitress are great they even look out for my son when he stops in for a soda on the way to the collage. They treat u like family when u come. The food is always good n hot n the coffee keeps on coming.
