I bought everything I needed here for a decent price - I was going to pay more somewhere else for JUST a bedroom set & sectional - but I was able to get a tv stand & mattress as well and still saved money. Not to mention, it’s absolutely beautiful! The customer service is superior compared to anywhere else I went. I specifically want to mention how great Aaron is. He spent about two hours with me and did not rush me or pressure me into buying anything - he actually did the complete opposite. I wanted to purchase a large sectional and he was genuinely concerned whether or not it would fit in my new apartment. He encouraged me to get the measurements of the doorways/elevator before I bought it and even held it for me until I was able to get them and confirm that it would fit. He also gave me great recommendations and informed me of the options they had. I applied for a credit card and he took the time to call the company and speak with them for me since further info was needed. After I placed my order, he kept in contact with me consistently until the delivery date and allowed me to add to my order without any delays in delivery. The delivery men came prepared and handled my furniture with care. I felt at ease with my purchase. If you shop here, you can absolutely expect a hassle-free experience with someone that truly cares. Diamond in the rough is how I would describe this furniture store that my wife and I visited for the first time today. Rarely, have I found such a treasure as we found in downtown York, Pa today after my daughter suggested we visit.

Don't be put off by the location, store front or shop name. You will be passing up a chance to see two floors of really top quality Ashley and many other furniture brands in extraordinary displays (I've posted some pics) and the best part is the prices are the best my wife and I have encountered.

We've been shopping for furniture for several months and spending a great deal of time in upscale shops, and this place puts them all to shame, just stop by one time and I believe you will agree. J

This is my go to furniture store. They are wonderful to work with and go above and beyond to make you happy. My last order included a cabinet that I never saw in person. It was 100x better than I even expected! Setup and delivery is reasonable and reliable if required.

This store is beautiful the staff was friendly and accommodating. They helped me get financed to lease everything I needed for my home. I highly recommend Discount Furniture Store for all your home needs. Good quality furniture and reasonably priced.

I have bout two couches, two love seats, multiple end tables, a coffee table and an entertainment stand here. I have had everything delivered and set up by them as well. I cannot say enough good things. Their delivery team is stellar, their sales team is kind and thoughtful! My experience here has blown me away. If I could rate them 6 stars out of 5 I would!! Would recommend to EVERYONE!!!

We can’t thank Discount Furniture enough for the way they helped my wife purchase a sofa for her brother. If you’ve ever shopped for a sofa for someone else - while living in another state and while the person you’re shopping for is very ill - you may have an idea how stressful this situation was for my wife. Everyone at Discount Furniture was courteous and professional and more helpful than we could have anticipated. When my wife was concerned about the seat height of the sofa she wanted, Rose measured every dimension, then told us her height and how the sofa fit her. Since all our transactions had to be done by phone, my wife talked to several other people at Discount Furniture, everyone familiar with our request and super-courteous. Exceptional service and great price! Thank you Discount Furniture!

My husband Stan Kordela and I. Where shopping for a recliner. What great greetings and how professional the staff gave us. My husband is in a wheelchair. They made every attempt to make sure we were comfortable. Great selection of recliners. Alot of other things also! I can't say enough how comfortable we felt. We ended up with two recliners. They delivered the next day. So very happy with delivery ⭐⭐ Oh and great price 😃😃

My fiancé and I were in a crunch and needed a couch fast. We tried literally every place in York County. Most furniture places are booked 8-16 weeks out, or you have to place an order and receive it 8 weeks later. We couldn’t wait that long. We found this gem on Google Maps - figured we’d give it a go. We called Discount Furniture, and spoke with a young lady (I forget her name, I’m sorry! But she’s wonderful!) and we told her exactly what we wanted. She advised we could take what we wanted right off the floor. She sent us pictures and we instantly got in the truck and drove to York to purchase a beautiful sectional - for HALF the price of other furniture stores. Aaron helped us load it in the truck (with no questions asked!) and we were on our way - process took less than an hour. This is definitely a hidden gem. We will be back to purchase more furniture in the future. Staff was great and very helpful. Very happy with our purchase.

I had a great experience at this store. No one pressured me and they allowed me to take my time browsing. I wasn't even pressured when I told them I wanted to look at other stores before I made a final decision. I did go to other stores and couldn't find anything I liked as much or even close to the prices offered at Discount Furniture. Aaron was especially helpful and very patient with my questions. I would highly recommend this little gem of a store.

Fantastic experience. Repeat customer. Stacy and staff extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. She worked personally with my son who needed replacement living room furniture. Store showroom houses a large variety of items so it was easy to find replacements. I highly recommend Discount Furniture for all furniture needs. PS…great prices too.

I was in the market for a new couch however I did not want to purchase the specific couch I had in mind several states away. After calling Discount Furniture and asking if they would price match, they were more then willing to help! I did have to order the couch through them and was given a 8-15 week window..I ordered the couch 8-13-22…and 8-17-22 they texted me advising my couch had arrived and was ready for pick up. When we arrived to the store the staff was very friendly and welcoming, they had a large selection of items on hand . Very easy process and would recommend to anyone in the market for furniture. The couch looks great!

I was recommended to Discount Furniture by a friend. Upon entering the store I was taken back at how much furniture and bedding options there actually were in the store (after telling me there’s also an upstairs to check out) not only was everyone friendly that worked there, they also gave you your space to look and didn’t breathe down your neck like in other furniture stores trying to make a sale. After 2 hours of checking everything out in the store and narrowing it down. I had purchased an Ashely’s Furniture counter top height table for $700 less than Ashley’s retail price. In addition, a king mattress at a price I couldn’t find anywhere else and they had one in stock! (I was able to take home same day).

After purchasing the table, I worked with Aaron to coordinate the table coming in.. not only was he extremely nice and down to earth, he was able to work his magic and get the table moved up to come in within a week! And the bench! that would’ve taken a month to get through Ashley’s.

10/10 recommend DFS , it really is a “Diamond in the rough” as someone else had put, that provides exceptional service!

We just recently bought a custom ordered Ashley sectional sofa from York Discount Furniture. The customer service was amazing, from the very beginning. Due to the pandemic the custom order ended up taking much longer than it should have, but the staff at the York Discount Furniture were on top of it and in constant communication with the warehouse about my order...basically harassing them on my behalf. When the order finally did arrive they were quick to contact me and schedule my delivery as soon as possible. The delivery guys called ahead and were prompt and quick to unload everything. The couch itself is amazing...so comfortable and definitely high quality. Great experience overall and we will definitely be making future furniture purchases through them.

Looked at all the other furniture stores in York for sectional couches and none compared! They don’t follow you around and pressure you to get anything. They have the BEST prices and styles and will deliver within a day. They also gave us great advice on how to move the couch on our own! Awesome family owned business. Don’t bother looking anywhere else!!

This a family owned and family run furniture store. The customer service we received here is unmatched. They have incredibly low prices for quality furniture.

My husband and I moved into the area a few months ago and were buying all new furniture. We went to every furniture store we could find in the area. Due to Covid, the estimated delivery dates were horrible. For example we placed an order at Bob’s and after two months of waiting, nearly every piece of furniture was damaged... We stumbled into Discount Furniture and just had the best experience. They have an amazing selection of furniture in their showroom and have super quick deliveries. But one of the things I loved most was that a couch we found and fell in love with in the Ashley’s store was a available at Discount Furniture at a fraction of the cost and with a quicker delivery time that what was offered at Ashley’s.

I would recommend this business to any one and everyone for their prices and quality but most importantly for their customer service. Every one I interacted with was amazing. They are knowledgeable, friendly and a joy to interact with. That being said, I mostly dealt with Stacey and I adore her. She is the absolute sweetest. She has such a kind soul and really works with you and makes shopping there such a pleasant experience.

The team here is amazing. From start to finish they were incredibly professional and great communicators. I purchased my sectional and mattress/box spring about 2 months prior to closing on my new home. We came up with a delivery date, they held onto my furniture in their warehouse and gave me a reasonable window of when it'd be delivered. When the delivery came, they were very informative and answered any/all questions I had. Great team here and they have a customer for life - I will definitely be back here for more.

Highly recommend this place. I bought my couch and a full king bedroom set this year, and I plan to get more furniture from them as needed. Their communication is excellent, they always seem to have things in stock despite current market conditions, and they go way out of their way to deliver there products directly to your house. The pricing of there products are always super competitive, and they are good people to work with. Stacy is who I worked with primarily, but they are all very helpful!!
