Shrewsbury True Value Hardware

I got some very good help here this day. Good service from several of the staff. They cut this 1x1 welded wire for me. I can’t always seem to find that stuff in stock in most hardware stores, particularly that being sold by the foot. Thank you. I also got good bird feeding advice and browsed an extensive assortment of feeders. Good destination for my mutual friends of birds. Excellent store. People are nice. They have a lot of stuff.

Brian and Nate are outstanding! They helped me solve a propane connection issue and went out of their way to assist. They didn't have the part I needed so they took the part from another piece of equipment. Kudos for the awesome customer service!

I like this store because the staff is always helpful and eager to assist if needed. While big box store employees wanna hide and run away, these people wanna help and make sure you get everything you need. It’s nice going to a place like this, makes me miss the old “home town hardware stores” I grew up with….

Went to shrewsbury true valve to buy a new chainsaw. It was a great experience, the staff were extremely knowledgeable about the products but did not try to upsell. They helped me determine the saw that was best for me, no more no less.

Store is nice, clean and a young man named James waited on us and he was the best for customer service and a friendly smile.

I had my riding mower repaired last week. They did a great job and had the mower back just when they said it would be ready,. I will be back for sure, thanks again.

I was looking for a part that Home Depot or Lowe's didn't have. I was worried I'd never find it, but True Value had it!

The fact that this store survives with a Home Depot just across the street tells you something. It is the personal service and small town feel of this store that make me return. Plus they have a rental department and Home Depot does not. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Very different from "Roam Depot."

I love these little stores. Great place to walk in and out with what you need in under 5 minutes. Staff here is always helpful to the point of helping me carry things out to the truck and helping load it. I will always come here and pay the small mark up for the service you get.

My favorite local hardware store. They always have what I need and I really enjoy the care, quality, and shopping experience that the big box stores just don't provide.

Had both my log splitter and zero turn mower serviced and repaired in their service area and I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and value of their work. They went above and beyond treating the repair as if it were their own, returning the equipment much cleaner than what I gave it to them. Tried other shops & they were more expensive & less responsive.

I love this place! Unlike the big box stores, you do not not have to hunt down someone to help you. And the employee in the paint department was extremely helpful and patient with all my questions!

I give this business 5 stars based on customer service alone. Aren't sure what you need? Their staff can help you. If you ask anyone at the big orange store they are clueless. Recently started seeing yard sale items on the far side....not a good look. Makes it look like the store is close to closing. Replace that with a larger hand tool section or something else.
