These guys were awesome. We just recently moved to the DC area and our grand piano didn’t fit in our front room. We replaced it with an upright, and they came in, took away the grand piano, replaced it with the upright so quickly I don’t think they were here for more than 10 minutes and they were so thoughtful, kind, and very hard workers would absolutely recommend them, and use them again!

Five stars! We loved their reliability, prompt and exact communication, and work ethic. Even in muddy conditions they were able to get the baby grand piano into our living room with no issues. Thank you!!! I recommend them without hesitation and would use them again immediately.

Man oh man! These guys are excellent! They were quick and efficient! Before them, I had hired a company that "knew" how to move pianos and didn't even know how many guys it would take/what to do. THIS company and guys were the exact opposite...they were professional and knew how to maneuver around the piano...and move the piano. We have a baby grand and their efficiency and hospitality put me instantly at ease! I highly recommend them! Seriously...don't even look anywhere else...these guys are the ish! (also... the price was about half of what everyone else quoted us!)

Congressional Piano movers did a great job packing and storing my piano for a couple of weeks. Bill and his team were professional super responsive and went above and beyond . Great company to do business with, very happy with the service I have received and definitely recommend them to others that are looking for piano movers.

If you live in the DMV and need to have your piano moved, the only call to make is to Congressional. Bill and Sara are most accommodating and no job is too challenging. I have used them for multiple moves and they are always reliable. My latest move presented the greatest obstacle to entry but they handled it seamlessly and my instrument that means so much to me was delivered safe and sound. If I ever have to move again, they will be my first and only call.

I highly recommend Congressional piano movers. I called and immediately got through and the woman was extremely nice and helpful. She gave me a very reasonable quote and scheduled a pick up time within just a few days. They called the night before with a two hour pick up time and they also called while they were on their way. The men were very friendly and professional. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to have their piano moved.

I bought my first piano (an upright) to fulfill a childhood dream of learning to play. I started taking lessons at age 70 after retiring using an electric keyboard and realized that I really wanted a real piano. But I was concerned that it would be impossible to get a piano into the room upstairs that I use as my music room. I bought my dream piano last week and today was the day it was delivered. Congressional Piano Movers arrived on time and came in to plan the best way to get the piano upstairs. But after looking at the layout of my house which involved bringing the piano up 2 sets of stairs both of which have a wall directly in front of the top of the stairs, the movers were uncertain that it was going to be possible. But knowing how much I was wishing for my own piano in my own music room, they decided on a plan and moved forward to give it a try. It was a big challenge and took over an hour but they stuck with it and wrestled it up the 2 flights of stairs and somehow got it around both walls and placed it exactly where i wanted it. These guys are miracle workers. And in addition, they were very careful with the piano and with my walls and both survived with no casualties. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a piano moved. Oh and they are nice guys too and fun to talk to. Way to go, Congressional Piano Movers!!!

There are not enough STARS to adequately represent this company. We had to move a Liberty Presidential 50 safe and after going through 10 other companies that were actually referred to us by Liberty, we found Congressional Piano Movers. Keep in mind that the original company from Hagerstown, MD that originally delivered "My Monster" stated emphatically that they could and would not move it for me. I had to move it 2.5 miles. Originally it took this company 6 hours, 5 different doorways attempted and this is with 4 good sized guys, they finally got it in my house. So when I had to move it, I felt sure that it would be no problem. Well it was once I found Congressional Piano Movers. It took their 3 guys just 45 minutes to lift, load, move, and place in my new house. What professionals they are. And these guys mean business. The original delivery company had to use 5 different kinds of jacks, slides, you name it. But when Congressional showed up with a simple 4 wheeled dolly, we thought we were in for another disaster. They put everyone to shame and were so dead on and precise, that they should be the only ones that Liberty Safes should attach their name too. Liberty if you are out there and looking, you should make Congressional Piano Movers your go to for your product, because they simply leave these "other movers" in the dust.
If they hadn't driven so far to get to me I would have provided them with a couple of cases of beer. Also, their price couldn't be beat, and their response time between calling to ask if they could, would and when we actually scheduled them was phenomenal.

Long story short I had the opportunity to acquire a beautiful, antique piano but the only catch was that I needed to have it moved the same day. After calling around and getting ridiculously expensive quotes from other companies, I contacted Congressional. Sara assured me it was no problem, fit me into their busy schedule and gave me a very reasonable price. The guys were efficient, professional and fast. My dream of having a gorgeous piano in my home was only made possible because of Congressional Piano Movers.

I was able to get a quote quickly and easily over the phone, and the lady I spoke with was very helpful and personable. I called a lot of movers for quotes on moving a baby grand piano, and the price Congressional Piano Movers quoted me was very reasonable. They were also able to schedule a move in only a couple of days which was a great help since I was getting the piano from someone who was moving and needed it out quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the owner himself was one of the men who came to actually move the piano. I am so glad I found this company- I highly recommend them to anyone. Truly a pleasure to do business with.

The two guys who actually moved the Piano were were professional and courteous, they made sure to protect our walls and hardwoods as they moved our piano into place.

We were extremely pleased with the exceptional customer service Bill and Sara Haynes of Congressional Piano movers provided us. They were very communicative and responsive to all of our questions about the piano move. Bill worked with us on the dates we provided and actually arranged to deliver the piano on my daughter's birthday which was fantastic. They set up the piano and took the time to explain some important points on piano care as well as how to fill the Dammp Chaser system with water. We would definitely use Congressional Piano movers again and recommend them as piano movers.

We live in DC. With that comes tight spaces and hard to navigate moving areas. CPM did an expert job navigating through our house and did the job (moving a piano out and moving another piano in) in less then 30 mins! I noticed how communication between the 3 workers was minimal because they worked as a team and knew where and when the next movement would take place. I was very happy with the service I received from CPM!
