Old Forge Brewing Company - York

We stopped in while checking out some of the local York breweries. We tried the Cider, Barlywine, IPA, and Stout. Everything was good. The Cider was particularly good. The person who served us was very friendly. We did not order food but what we saw looked tasty. It's as cool place!

Daytime atmosphere was nice. I would like to try the hush puppies. Limited menu was being served. I cannot afford to eat here, but the Saturday that I ate here was kid's eat free. I am broke, I live off food stamps. However, I would love to return to try their hush puppies one day.

The place isn't huge, it's not snobby and it's not a hole in the wall. What it is is friendly, reasonably priced and well maintained. The food is good and service excellent.

Food is absolutely superb. Cool ambiance and great beer. No complaints, really glad this place opened up downtown. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a wonderful cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. The service was excellent and the music a nice treat. Tigris took very good care of us!

Love going here. It's nice and low key in the city. The food is absolutely terrific. I had the fish and chips as well as their Nashville hot and it melts in your mouth. The beer on tap is terrific. I highly recommend getting a flight while you're here.

Excellent food and service! The burgers are amazing, as are the appetizers. I highly recommend anything on their menu. The individuals preparing the food take a lot of pride in what they do. Say hi to Rachel too, she seems to always be behind the bar ready to serve. Great place for a date night and it's also super cool to just hang out with the guys.

Delicious lime seltzer! I had the shrimp tacos very good. The side I picked was a salad it was wilted and did not have a fresh taste. The home made chips looked great along with the fresh vegetable side. The salad was my only take back, I would never have served wilted greens.

The food was great, the beer was amazing. The open kitchen allowed me to see that the chef cleaned as much as he cooked. We went on a Sunday evening, and the bar tender was the only person serving guests. And she was amazing too. This place is a gem in York, and as long-term Philly residents but York natives, it is comparable or exceeds our best experiences in the big city. If you like great food, amazing beer, and fantastic service... Come here now!

I went here with two friends and we all agreed everything about the visit to Old Forge was fantastic. The service was great, the wings were very good, the food was great and the beer selection was very impressive and tasty. I had the pull pork sandwich and my friends both had burgers. We were all very pleased. If I had one recommendation for the restaurant, it would be for some seasoning on the french fries. However I'm not going to dock a star for that. I'll be returning soon.

Amazing!! The staff is super nice and helpful, the food and drinks are my favorite around! I have had several of their mixed drinks and they are so good (Forged Sunset is my favorite) and the Bacon Twists are such a perfect combination of sweet and spicy...Yum! The burger was so moist it almost melted in your mouth, the fries are like Boardwalk fries and their crab dip and pretzels left our whole table of people wanting more!
Also, just as a mention, its Honey Week and they have Bacon Wrapped Scallops as a special that are to die for, in my opinion. We are going back today to have some more!

This place is awesome! Their food is absolutely delicious (their chef knows what he's doing) and their beer is great too, The staff is all wonderful and welcoming. They seem underrated for how good they are and I hope they stick around for a long time!

First time here and was super happy. Service from Brenna was awesome as was the beer( the stout-nitro, and toasted lager). Burger was super tasty, fish sandwich was great. Fries were perfect. If you’re anywhere near York, you must visit!

Great food, great atmosphere, great place to hang out with friends after a long day at work. With a convenient location on Continental Square in downtown York, it's in a historical part of the City, County, and State. Lots of other venues nearby if you want to do a little bar-hopping or experience other types of cuisine. An excellent location that we are at frequently.

Great beer selection. Bit noisy like a bar setting pre-covid, but spread out and bright lighting. Great social atmosphere. Bring a gang, grab a game on the shelf by the kitchen and hang out. Will be back to enjoy the 1/2 price burger special.

They have a solid selection of good tasting beers, plus local cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. We only tried a couple of appetizers, but they were really good. As an added bonus, the bartender was fun to talk to.

Had the old forge cider and honey sriracha wings. The wings were great, rich in flavor and not caked in sauce like you get them alot of places. The cider was also very good. It has a sweetness but it's not overbearing by any means and you can really enjoy the taste. Highly recommend this place to anyone with their large selection I will definitely be returning.

Small, clean establishment. I did not check the bathroom out but someone in my party said they were decent. Food was decent and what I expected after ordering. Daily specials available. Neat seating arrangement.
