Lyndon Diner

We went to this location for the first time and it was very good. And even though it was crazy busy, they got us a seat and served the food pretty quickly.

I got the pesto chicken panini, and it was phenomenal! It was oozing with tons of pesto, and was just one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while.

We also got a beef vegetable soup, and it was flavorful and had a lot of big pieces of vegetables in it!

Great place overall. We've been to the Lancaster location at well, and enjoyed it there, too.

Soo good. Literally just come here... Their food is fantastic, staff are nice. Gluten free options.

Edit: went for a second time and there are specials for saint patricks day. They also have gluten free pancakes and waffles

If nothing else, this place has an admirable cocktail selection that is worth coming for just on its own! The prices are very reasonable on the drinks, too. They have over a dozen seasonal drinks at a time! The food is also great diner food, and the desserts are excellent to finish off a meal. Highly recommend a stop if you're on 30!

Very retro hidden gem, located just off US30 in York, Pennsylvania! Feels like those 1950s style train car diners that we don't see often anymore. The staff were friendly and the food was incredible both in price, freshness and more! I came from Ohio to drive down to Washington DC for a car show, figured we stop in York for the night and here for breakfast. I would definitely come back!

The Lyndon Diner in York, Pa is a great place to eat. We recommend it, if you are coming to or through York, that you stop here. My wife had their crab soup and it was better than anything she has gotten from the best shore towns of the East Coast. And their BLT was loaded with bacon. The "B" is the reason you buy it and it was fantastic. Come here for a look and feel of old 50's and 60's diners. You will not be disappointed!

My other half and myself came in for Saturday breakfast 😋 The place was packed but surprisingly enough we were seated immediately, placed our order and it seemed only 5 - 10 minutes passed and our food was out! Delicious Lyndon Benedict! If we are ever in town again I'd definitely stop by!

Great diner experience. The food was okay, service was fast and friendly! I got the chicken Philly, it just needed more, peppers, onions and cheese. The burger was good!

Loved the 50's and 60's music 🎶 The onion rings were like I remembered from my high school drive ins .

Crab cakes scored a 4 and a little more lump crab meat would have scored a 5.

Service was a little bit slow so it scored a 4. Could have been due to we came in the middle of a shift change.

Very busy on Saturday morning! Service was very quick and staff were very nice. Hard to find parking sometimes but I'm sure they've always heard that!

The food was great, service was borderline rude but honestly I'd go back because the food was worth it.

We were able to come right in and sit down at 10:30am on a Saturday morning. Our server was very friendly and professional and service was pretty quick. I had the egg casserole which had hashbrowns, chipped beef gravy, eggs and cheese. I really enjoyed this dish and would definitely get it again. My husband had the eggs Benedict and said it was very good also even though his eggs were a little over cooked for being poached. If visiting York, PA I would definitely recommend this place.

We wanted to give a shout out to the ladies that helped us order our wedding cakes. Instead of ordering a traditional wedding cake, we wanted multiple cakes from Yia-Yia bakery out of Baltimore, MD. Being frequent guests at Lyndon Diner, we were very aware of their amazing cake selection that comes from Yia-Yia. We told them which cakes we wanted, and picked them up. Easy peasy. It was nice offering our guests such an amazing array of cakes to try, and to eat. Everyone loved them, and it saved us a drive. If you haven't ever tried a slice, what are you waiting for?

Great place to eat. Love the atmosphere. The food was cooked to order, hot and delicious. The have a huge selection of deserts like cakes, pies and other things.

My husband and I love Lyndon Diner! The servers are friendly, the food is consistently great, and the portions are always very generous. Let's not forget to mention their dessert case and specialty drinks menu! 10 out of 10...Must Visit!!

Food was great service was fast and the place was packed. I got the lyndon breakfast special I didn't even touch the pancakes and I was impressed with there sausage they looked like hot dogs and the only place like this I know of that also serves alcoholic drinks. FYI they have an awesome drink menu at 9am..😃

My son said it was the best restaurant in the whole wide world in PA. So that means something. This was a very nice restaurant and all at of our party of 5 had an excellent meal. All meals were priced excellent. (Seemed less than fast food). Waitress said all food is homemade. Cheers!

I’m from Boston and was in town for a few days decided to stop in for breakfast and upon arrival I knew I made a good choice first thing was couldn’t find a spot to park! Once inside the waitress (my apologies cannot recall her name-I was more focused on the menu) she took our order and I can’t complain EVERYTHING was delish. Son had the Egg Casserole, I had to Lyndon Breakfast Special and hubby had the Western, everything was on point and amazingly delicious! I highly recommend going to the diner whenever your in town, the service was excellent, the food was delicious and the environment very nice and us Bostonians usually b***h about something I can’t!
